Trivia: After leaving the main menu of RE4 for about 20 seconds, the trailer for the game comes up. During the course of the trailer, there is a short scene of Ashley putting her head in her arms. This is a reverse of a cut scene in the game where you rescue her after fighting the Iron Maiden, in which she looks up to see Leon.

Trivia: The knife Leon throws when he rescues Ada at the end of the game was Krauser's knife; the same knife he picked up after their first encounter.

Trivia: The tactical vest you can buy from the merchant is exactly the same as the STARS jackets worn by the main characters in the Remake of the original Resident Evil for the gamecube.

Trivia: A long running mystery of this game, there is one spot where an abandoned building is off in the distance. If you unlock the camera and head to that spot, you can find an odd figure of a man standing there. It is unknown who this is or why it's there, being an unfinished abandoned area of the game, or a detail, or just some odd bug. One theory is that it seems to resemble one of the game developers Shigenori Nishikawa.

Trivia: Leon Kennedy and the mysterious Merchant are voiced by the same actor: Paul Mercier.

Continuity mistake: After Leon beats Bitores Mendez and takes his fake eye, you will notice if you look closely at his corpse that his fake eye is still in his head.

Question: The scene where Ashley is taking control of the grabber vehicle is a bit off to me. Like, in which part of her life the US president's daughter - a spoiled university student - was instructed about how to handle heavy machinery?
