Rose(Mirren) is killed out of mercy by her step-son Mickey(Gooding) Mickey and Vickie with her son Anthony move to a house to hide out from Vickie's husband Clayton who put a hit out on her. Clayton finds them and attempts to murder them all. Anthony comes from behind and shoots Clayton. They all get in the car and drive away.
