Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Trivia: Harry Potter successfully battles a Troll in this movie. A character by the exact same name also does this in the 1986 movie "Troll".

Trivia: The pronunciation of "Voldemort" was changed for this movie. When J. K. Rowling wrote the books, she intended for the final "t" to be silent, just like the French phrase from which the name is derived. For the movie, however, the "t" is pronounced (probably to make it clear that the root "mort," meaning "death," was part of the name, since viewers couldn't see it written down). Evidently Rowling must have consented to this change, because she now pronounces the name that way as well.

Trivia: In order to make the school setting more real, the child actors (including Daniel Ratcliffe, Rupert Glint and Emma Watson) would often do their actual schoolwork when filming Hogwarts classes.

Trivia: During scenes where Hermione is writing with a quill, Emma Watson was actually writing things like "my name is Emma Charlotte Watson", "I am 10 years old" and (my personal favourite) "I really like this quill."

Trivia: The beds in the Philosopher's Stone were made especially for the 11 year old actors, and in the later movies they had to make new beds to fit the actors as they grew older.

Trivia: The final scene of the movie was actually the very first scene to be filmed.

Visible crew/equipment: During the Quidditch match Harry's broomstick tries to shake him off, due to the spell. After Hermione tells Ron, "Leave it to me," in Harry's last close-up before he flips over, the seat that is attached to the broomstick, to make it more comfortable for Dan Radcliffe to sit on, is entirely visible. Glimpses of other seats can be had during the match as well. (01:20:50)

Question: How did Dudley get out of the snake exhibit after falling in?

Answer: Petunia or Vernon would have ran to a zoo employee and told them what happened. The employee would then open the door to the snake exhibit letting Dudley out.
