More Barbie triviaTrivia: Originally, the store Buddy and Jovie work in was supposed to be a Macy's. However, Macy's quickly dropped out of the project when they got the script and saw that there was a scene where Buddy confronts a fake mall-Santa in the store for not being the real Santa. Reportedly, Macy's representatives indignantly told the studio that "Macy's Santa is the REAL Santa!"
Trivia: Lee Majors and Heather Thomas, who portrayed Colt Seavers and Jody Banks in the original television series, have cameos as the police officers who arrest Gail and Tom during the mid-credit scene.
Trivia: This film features appearances from WWE alumni John Cena and Dwayne Johnson. There used to be real-life acrimony between the two, as Cena was critical of Johnson for leaving the WWE to pursue a film career, alleging he abandoned his fans and the business he claimed to love. Cena would later apologize for this disposition after pursuing a film career of his own, acknowledging that he didn't make the effort to view things from Johnson's perspective.

Trivia: Final budget was $291m, in large part due to the delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, making it one of the most expensive films of all time. Filming was scheduled to start in February 2020 with a planned release date of July 23, 2021. Filming eventually started on September 6, 2020 and wrapped in September 2021 - the film was released in July 2023.
Trivia: Josh Hartnett was one of the final 3 actors in the running to play Batman in Batman Begins, but withdrew. He later said he regretted his decision and wanted to work with Christopher Nolan, finally getting his chance here.
