Continuity mistake: In the episode where they overhaul a 1976 blue van, there is a shot of the white donor van being carted away. Yet later on in the same episode, the white donor van is back in the workshop.
Episode #1.1 - S1-E1
Factual error: There is a view of the night sky in southern Africa. However, both the Big and Little Dippers (along with Polaris) are visible. In general, these constellations are not visible in the southern hemisphere, and where they are (North of 1° South latitude) they are very close to the horizon. The Big Dipper (Ursa Major) is to the left of the screen and Polaris (part of the Little Dipper = Ursa Minor) in near the top-center. This occurs shortly after the lion cub scene. (00:44:00)
Character mistake: Professor Saotome checks the status of the Getter Robot when his son falls unconscious. The HUD output is written in awkward EngRish, from the first line of the status report, called; "Monitor the state of affairs", to smaller details like the article randomly used for certain lines ("a control device, a correspondent"). The biggest flub though is that the name of his son is "Tatsuhito", in proper romanization, but here appears as "Tatuto." (00:05:20)
Buzz Driver - S5-E7
Other mistake: There is no need for there to be two lists of those who should and shouldn't drive the bus, only a list of those qualified to drive the bus.
Factual error: Both Inspector Shaw and Chief Inspector Bailie wear their medal ribbons in the wrong order. The Golden Jubilee Medal is worn first, followed by the Diamond Jubilee Medal, followed by (for Bailie) the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
Continuity mistake: Mr. Monroe (Jim J. Bullock) is explaining infant care to his class using a rubber doll when a paper airplane with a sense of direction starts buzzing his head. He swings the baby, hitting the skeleton next to his desk, shattering its head and sending it to the floor. In the next cut, the skeleton is standing up again, and Mr. Monroe whacks it down again.
Deliverance - S1-E3
Factual error: The crosses marking the graves of British soldiers outside the hospital abbreviate Private as the American "Pvt" rather than the British "Pte."
The Body in the Library - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: Joanna Lumley has long hair tied back while driving her car but much shorter hair subsequently.
Factual error: In s01e08, "Q and A", when Yelena is playing chess, we see her use the touchscreen which represents the chessboard. However, the bottom left corner is a white square when it should be a dark square. The board is orientated incorrectly, even though the board on the floor isn't.
Factual error: When the large Dutch guy tells his story about his life in Holland, there are a several windmills. However, the blades are placed on the wrong side, that way it's not possible for a windmill to turn clockwise, which it does. If the blades were placed correctly, they would still turn to the wrong side, because wooden windmills in The Netherlands are always turning counter-clockwise.
