![Jumanji: The Next Level picture](/images/titles/13000-13999/13070_sm.jpg)
Continuity mistake: Professor Sheldon 'Shelly' Oberon sprains his right ankle when escaping the baboons by jumping to another bridge. Ming Fleetfoot wraps his left ankle later on when they are by the river. (01:11:38 - 01:14:00)
![Crocodile Dundee picture](/images/titles/1000-1999/1837_sm.jpg)
Factual error: That is not a crocodile that attacks Sue. It more closely resembles an American alligator - the squat, rounded snout gives it away. Australian crocodiles have a much sharper, more angular snout. There are other tell-tale physical features, most notably the placement of the alligator's teeth when it closes its mouth, but that's the main one.
![The A-Team picture](/images/titles/8000-8999/8345_sm.jpg)
Factual error: They are present at Frankfurt, Germany. But with a closer look you see a cathedral at the right side. This cathedral and the central station are located in Cologne, Germany - they are about 220 km apart. (01:04:15)
![Black Panther picture](/images/titles/12000-12999/12196_sm.jpg)
Continuity mistake: When Klaue is being rescued by Erik, the amount of blood from his face wound changes between shots.
![Wonder Woman picture](/images/titles/11000-11999/11631_sm.jpg)
Continuity mistake: When Sammy first offers the drink to Diana (in a close up), Diana takes the mug in her left hand. Just before the camera switches to a long shot, Diana switches the mug to her right hand. In the long shot, Diana still has the mug in her left hand and she sets it on the wall to her left. The camera switches back to a close up and Diana again has the mug in her right hand. When Steve asks her to dance, Diana again sets the mug down on the wall, this time to her right.
![Matilda picture](/images/titles/0-999/807_sm.jpg)
Factual error: It is stated that Miss Trunchbull competed in the Olympics in shot put, javelin, and hammer throw. According to her jersey those were the 1972 Olympics. The hammer throw wasn't added as an Olympic event for women until 2000.
![Epic Movie picture](/images/titles/6000-6999/6479_sm.jpg)
Continuity mistake: During the fight between Aslo and Silas, Aslo is seen lying on his back in a closeup. But when the shot changes to a wide shot, he is suddenly on all fours.
![Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban picture](/images/titles/3000-3999/3738_sm.jpg)
Continuity mistake: When Malfoy and his friends bother Ron and Hermione, Harry shows up and messes with the three boys. He grabs hold of Malfoy's feet, lifts them in the air and pulls him across the snow. In the first close-up of the soles of Malfoy's boots, not a speck of snow is on them, though he was just walking in it. Then in the next close-up, his feet still in the air, the soles are now covered in snow. (01:02:45)
![Avatar picture](/images/titles/8000-8999/8157_sm.jpg)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Parker is shown playing golf on the indoor golf course in RDA, the first time he hits the ball, there are two other balls lying on the course side by side. In the next shot, two are distant apart and in the shot after that, they are in their original position. (00:12:15)
![Quantum of Solace picture](/images/titles/7000-7999/7603_sm.jpg)
Factual error: During the boat chase scene, Bond throws a grappling hook/anchor from the old boat he is driving onto the deck of the rubber boat "riding" his. The rubber boat is then violently yanked off of Bond's boat and crashes. This makes no sense. For the rubber boat to be yanked off that way, the other end of the anchor line would have to be tied to something stationary. However, the other end of the line is just lying in Bond's boat. There's even a shot of it sitting there.
![Terminator Salvation picture](/images/titles/7000-7999/7524_sm.jpg)
Other mistake: When Marcus, Kyle and Star are at the petrol station, a flying HK and the giant Harvester robot are able to appear just outside without making any kind of sound. In every other scene of the Harvester and the HKs however, they both make an incredible amount of noise. (00:37:40)
![Colombiana picture](/images/titles/9000-9999/9028_sm.jpg)
Factual error: When Cattleya escapes through the sewer drain and winds up in front of the U.S. Embassy, she uncovers the manhole all by herself. Impossible for such a young child to do.
![Where Eagles Dare picture](/images/titles/1000-1999/1695_sm.jpg)
Plot hole: Why do all the Germans abandon the cable car control room after the alarm has been sounded? If the cable car is critical for access to the castle then you would expect a hard core of SS troops to remain behind to control access and protect the machinery in the event of an attack. (01:42:55)
![Cliffhanger picture](/images/titles/0-999/283_sm.jpg)
Audio problem: Just before the crashed jet skids to a stop, you can hear the jet engines despite them being ripped off with the tail fin quite a way back, so you shouldn't be able to hear them.
![Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home picture](/images/titles/1000-1999/1220_sm.jpg)
Other mistake: After they take off from California, Kirk gives a heading to Alaska. He then tells Sulu "full impulse power", and Sulu says "aye, ETA 12 minutes." Full impulse is 1/4 the speed of light. No way they would use speeds like that to go a few thousand miles.
![The Time Machine picture](/images/titles/2000-2999/2038_sm.jpg)
Plot hole: When George stops the machine for the first time, the candle burned down to about half of its size, which took according to his observations 98 minutes. But as the trip continues it takes seven hours for it to burn down completely. (00:25:45)
![2010 picture](/images/titles/1000-1999/1472_sm.jpg)
Factual error: While the Leonov has a centrifugal section to simulate gravity, the ship's bridge is not part of it (evidenced by the stationary views outside its portholes). Yet in various scenes, including the one when Floyd rushes in to discuss his plan to return to Earth sooner with Tanya, gravity seems quite evident. Floyd marches across the compartment onto the raised pilot area's floor, then steps down from it, his foot landing audibly. Tanya's open jacket also hangs down normally as she moves about. Yet when Floyd demonstrates his plan using two pens, they float in mid air. (01:26:50)
![Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom picture](/images/titles/12000-12999/12346_sm.jpg)
Plot hole: Being transported from the west of Costa Rica all the way to Northern California by ship would take about a week. Are we to assume that Owen, Claire and Franklin were staying put in the back of the truck the whole time undetected? They would have to eat and use the restroom, at least.
Suggested correction: Maybe they did have to sneak around but the director thought making us watch Owen sneaking away at night to take a whiz wasn't really important to the plot.
It was established in the plot's timeline that the ship travelled overnight. A ship like this travels at about 12 knots and would take for them about 9 days to complete that voyage.
![You Only Live Twice picture](/images/titles/1000-1999/1432_sm.jpg)
Revealing mistake: During the car chase scene, if you watch the speedometer on the car, it never rises above zero. That, and the obviously poor image quality of the "road" in front of them, shows that they were using projected film in front of the car.
![Overlord picture](/images/titles/12000-12999/12611_sm.jpg)
Factual error: During the plane ride into France, the Paratroopers are holding/carrying their weapons by their sides. In reality, their weapons (M1 Garands, B.A.R.s, etc.) would be carried in special "bags" strapped to their parachute harness. This not only protected their weapons, but also secured them to their person.
Suggested correction: You can tell by the shape of the snout and the ridges above the eyes that, although animatronic, it is meant to be a Marine Crocodile that is native to Australia. It doesn't resemble an American alligator, which doesn't possess those pronounced ridges. Also, freshwater crocodiles can be seen in the boat ride scene where Mick motions for Sue to lean up off the edge of the boat. They have the narrower, angular snout that you referenced.
The placement of the alligator's teeth when it closes its mouth shows that it is more like an alligator than a crocodile. In fact, the animatronic puppet is a bizarre mish-mash of physical characteristics of both crocodiles and alligators.
