Answer: He had it on under his clothes. When the regular clothes burned off his fireproof uniform was all that remained.
Question: Why is the Silver Surfer making craters all over the Earth? What purpose do they serve?
Answer: They're part of the mechanism that Galactus uses to extract the life-force from the planet.
Question: What does Ben tell Sue when they're talking about the general and Reed knowing each other?
Answer: That they are bitter rivals, the gung ho general didn't like the young know it all kid telling him what to do and what he was doing wrong.
Answer: I would assume that the director wanted to make her appear closer to the comic book Sue...this would also explain how blonde her hair is in this film.
