Trivia: The lead character Kick Ass AKA Dave Lizewski got his 'real' name in response to a competition held to give Kick Ass his alter ego. Not surprisingly, the person who won the competition is also called Dave Lizewski and opted to use his own name.
Trivia: The yellow Range Rover that Cody gets crushed inside is a nod to one of director Matthew Vaughns previous movies, Layer Cake, which featured the same brash coloured model.
Trivia: The film oddly enough features two actors who would go on to play the character "Quicksilver" in Marvel movies. Star Aaron Taylor-Johnson went on to play Quicksilver in the film "Avengers: Age of Ultron", while co-star Evan Peters played a different version of the character in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "X-Men: Apocalypse."
Trivia: When Frank D'Amico and Red Mist assume that their chief bodyguard (called Huge Goon in the movie's credits) has finished Hit-Girl, Frank calls for him with the name "Stu," the actor's real name. Not necessarily a mistake, given the bodyguard is otherwise unnamed.
Trivia: The way Kick-Ass looks at the mirror and when he tries to jump over a building resemble the way Tobey Maguire did in Spider-Man.
