Final Destination 3
Movie Quote Quiz

Kevin Fischer: What's wrong?
Wendy Christensen: It's nothing. It's just that I'm going to be worrying about you every second while you're gone.
Kevin Fischer: Why would you worry about me? We don't even like each other, remember?

Wendy Christensen: What happened to willful ignorance?
Kevin Fischer: Hey, I'm full of shit, all right? I never thought I could see my own death before it happened Wendy.

Wendy Christensen: [With camera.] These are for the yearbook and I have to turn them in tomorrow to make a deadline and, like, I doubt if a shot of Stacy Kobayashi's camel toe is gonna make it in there.
Kevin Fischer: Whew, I'd buy two.

Jason Wise: Hey look, I know you. And I'm thinking that maybe you're nervous about this roller coaster because they say that the real fear with these rides, is the feeling of having no control. Everyone imagines stuff when they get scared. But it never turns out to be the way they imagined. Never.

Wendy Christensen: I'm usually such a control freak but, I couldn't stop it. I should've done everything I could to stop it, and I would do anything for a second chance. But I never can. I don't want to one day feel the same way about you Julie. I can't talk to mom and dad. You're all I have left.

Jason Wise: What's wrong?
Wendy Christensen: Umm. I was having that feeling like Deja Vu. You know? Except for something that hasn't happened yet.

Ian McKinley: I cause your death? Just like you caused Erin's?

Wendy Christensen: The people who got off the roller coaster are still going to die. Unless we can find a way to stop it.

Erin: Death is fucking complicated.

Erin: So let me get this straight; I'm gonna OD on nail polish, and Ian is gonna be embarrassed to death?

Kevin Fischer: It's never better staying ignorant. Willful ignorance is surrendering control.

Deliberate mistake: There are a number of things wrong with the roller coaster scene (besides the obvious impossibility of a crash like this actually occurring): 1) The restraints use ratchets to lock, not hydraulics. A coaster of this type wouldn't even have any hydraulic lines. 2) The attendants didn't check all the restraints. This is ALWAYS necessary, on ANY ride. 3) On any roller coaster, the Dispatch button (or "Start" in the movie) must be held down until the train is clear of the station. This is a safety feature to make sure the attendants are clear of the moving train. If the button is released before the train is clear of the station, it will stop. 4) At the bottom of the lift, the lift chain curves to follow the track into the station. This is impossible, a lift chain cannot curve horizontally, only vertically (normally at the top of the hill).

Question: We know that Wendy's pictures on her camera are clues to everyone's deaths, but Death's plan was for them to die on the roller coaster. Also, Wendy took the photos before she got on Devil's Flight, so if everyone was supposed to die on the coaster, what's the point of the pictures?

Chosen answer: It's metioned in the filmakers' commentary that in every Final Destination movie everyone has a premonition (Of course), well it's also mentioned by the director, James Wong, that if death wants to kill them why give them the premonition in the first place? Well he believes that there is some other force out there trying to prevent death from killing these teenagers. That's where the premonitions come in including the signs therefore, Wendy's pictures are helping signs like voices or visions from other movies. It's just the whole "giving signs" thing is portrayed differently in this movie.
