Trivia: Brad Dourif ("Stan") and Jeremy Sumpter gave some input to first-time director Steele about the "look" of their characters (and maybe names?). Interestingly, the character played by Jeremy is "Jarod LEARY." Detective Fairchild's first name is "MATT." Matt O'Leary starred with Jeremy in "Frailty."

Other mistake: The object thrown (beer can?) at Jarod from the passing truck did not hit him above the neck at the bottom of his head (where his injury supposedly was).
