Factual error: Before Tom landed in the puddle, there was water dripping or it was raining on it, but it wasn't raining when he was on the rooftops. After Tom landed, the water drops/rain suddenly stopped. Even if the water drops were from earlier rain running off the roof or other parts of the building, they would not be hitting the whole way across the puddle or that far away from the edge of the building. Factual error: On Saturday morning Gwen and Finney were watching cartoons. This was the day after she spent the night at her friends house which was a Friday night. The cartoon that was on the TV was Davey and Goliath. This cartoon only aired on Sunday mornings.
Suggested correction: "Davy and Goliath" aired on Saturday or Sunday mornings, depending on the TV station. And, according to Wikipedia, it "premiered in syndication on 2/25/61 as a Saturday feature."
Factual error: James called the "Washington Board of Psychiatry" to file a complaint against Dr. Clark (Philip). Complaints (which need to be WRITTEN) against medical doctors are filed under a State's Medical Board, which would be the Washington Medical Commission in this case. Washington has a Board of Psychology and there is a Washington Psychiatric Society, but there's no "Washington Board of Psychiatry" per se (and even if there were, a complaint would still be filed with the Medical Commission).
Factual error: One of the sisters threw a bucket of water over the dock to wash away the blood. Seconds later, the dock was dry. Even with the sun shining, wood does not dry that fast. (00:10:03)
Factual error: No judge would award guardianship of a person with something like autism to a sibling who's a recovering alcoholic and drug dealer.
Suggested correction: I think it is POSSIBLE, but not probable. Someone on the spectrum may have poor coping skills when dealing with strangers or would not do well if placed in an unfamiliar environment. Placement with a sibling - even one as you described (recovering alcoholic and drug dealer) - may be less traumatic and disruptive than with a non-relative or stranger. A judge would have to weigh the bad against the good while considering the person's needs and the sibling's ability to meet or exceed those needs.
Factual error: There's no way in UFC they'd let a fighter continue all bloodied up as Jackie is. Given her condition the referee would've stopped the fight and awarded it to Lady Killer.
Factual error: "The Waltons Homecoming" is a remake of the 1971 TV-movie that led to the 1972-81 television series "The Waltons." In one scene, John-Boy has written a story for The Boston Arts Scholarship Competition. He addressed the envelope to "1815 Redwood St, Boston MA 02122." The movie is set in 1933. The Postal Service did not introduce ZIP codes and two-letter state abbreviations until 1963.
Factual error: Charlie gives Kaz a flare gun to shoot a shark in the mouth underwater. She manages to fire it underwater and the flare travels several meters. It is impossible for a flare gun to activate underwater. And if the flare was fired into the water it will only travel one or two feet. (01:13:00 - 01:18:00)
Factual error: A body-sized floor-length mirror angled away from a wall would not be able to capture a mirror image of that wall or objects on or close to the wall (e.g, drapes, clock, table, etc). (00:06:16)
Factual error: The aerial view close-up of the large dome at the Vatican seems to lack features and isn't an exact replica based on on-line photos of the actual building/structure. The two smaller domes on the sides also are not visible due to darkening of the background. Other structures in front should be visible at that angle but are not. (00:15:26)
Factual error: At the end of the film, Hellfire Jack returns the toy soldier to the son of the late William Hawkins in 1917. Hawkins son is shown taking it upstairs and placing it in front of a photo of his father, in between two medals. These are the British War and Victory Medals - these did not exist until 1919, and in most cases were not even issued until the 1920's.
Factual error: When pit bull Shadow was chasing Phoenix, the distances between them varied - even appearing to increase - but the pit bull should have been able to quickly close the gap and catch Phoenix. In general, an adult person (about 7 mph) cannot outrun a pit bull (25-30 mph). Also, unless Shadow was trained to stop pursuing Phoenix if she got over the fence, pit bulls are actually quite good at climbing fences. (00:02:38)
Factual error: Tree foliage was unseasonal and inconsistent throughout the movie. For example, Autumn foliage (orange/yellow leaves) was shown, followed by a shot of a tree with Summer foliage (green leaves), then back to Fall leaves when Hildy was on her way to Thanksgiving dinner. At times, trees still had Summer foliage around Christmas time. By November in Massachusetts, trees would have few, if any, leaves on them (and they would not be green). (00:42:50 - 01:05:20)
Factual error: During Bond's fight in the stairwell at the lab/missile site, several soldiers use RGD-5 hand grenades against him. One explodes next to him while between a steel door and concrete stair. The RGD-5 is lethal at 3 meters and causes injury at 25 meters. Even if shielded, Bond would be severely injured by the blast damage.
Factual error: Steve Trevor tells Aquaman that he is a Colonel in the US Army. But he is wearing First Lieutenant bars on his uniform.
Factual error: When Lucy goes to see RKO executive VP Charles Koerner after "The Big Street" was released in 1942, one of the posters on the wall in the waiting room is for "Stromboli", which was not released until 1950.
Factual error: He grabs a Glock handgun and a suppressor and begins threading on the suppressor. For this to work in real life, the handgun would need a threaded barrel which extends half inch past the end of the slide. The one he grabs, the barrel is flush with the slide, no threads. (01:05:35)
Factual error: Rock Doves - even those used to people walking around in the city and on the sidewalks - would have flown away at the first sign of a predator, including a puppy - but they more or less ignored Clifford running toward them. (00:10:30)
Factual error: Dylan (Scott Eastwood) was in a jail cell yet had a bottle of prescription pills in his pocket. The pills would have been confiscated before he was put in the cell and administered to him on schedule by staff/nurse. (00:28:10)
Factual error: When the hackers take out Zagreb, Croatia, one shot shows the effect on a train in a subway station. Zagreb has no subway.
