The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1

Plot hole: Whilst Allan is searching the decks below for Tintin, a crew member is keeping watch of Captain Haddock in his quarters. Tintin secretly reveals to Haddock that he is hiding underneath his bed, without letting the crew member notice him and Haddock then looks towards him. The crew member was watching Haddock the entire time, so how does he not notice Haddock looking toward Tintin? (00:18:20)

The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1

Plot hole: The torn off part of the Crabe Extra wrapper that Tintin discovers from the drowning victim appears completely fine, despite the fact that in the previous scene, Daws, the drowning victim, had scrunched up the wrapper and put in his pocket and was then thrown into the river, whilst the wrapper was still in his pocket. The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: Tintin is locked in a room tied up to two pipes. There is rope around his torso and ankles which is connected to the pipes above and even his arms are tied up, connected to the pipes behind him. Allan then enters the room and the rope that was connecting his arms to the pipe is now nowhere in sight. It is partially visible for a few frames, but then vanishes for the rest of the shot. Then when the shot cuts to Tintin, there is suddenly rope wrapped all around the pipe behind him. (00:12:35)

The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When the three bad guys make for the car after taking Mr. Kuraki with them, two of them are headed for the right hand side and the bad guy with the purple jumper runs to the left side. In the next shot the bad guy with the purple jumper is now on the right hand side of the car, pulling the door shut. (00:06:45)

The Crab with the Golden Claws: Part 1 - S1-E1

Other mistake: Whilst examining the wrapper with "Karaboudjan" written on it, the "K" is a centimeter away from the letter "A" and all the other letters are about a fifth of a centimeter away from the letters. Tintin then places a magnifying glass above the word "Karaboudjan." After doing this, the "K" that was a centimeter away from the "A" is now a fifth of a centimeter away from the "A", but none of the other letters seem to have changed distances. This all occurs within the same shot. (00:05:15)

The Blue Lotus: Part 1 - S1-E8

Plot hole: When the Chinese man who visits Tintin goes crazy from the same type of dart that was shot at Doctor Sarcophagus, he tells the guard to go to the Maharajah's son. About 9 seconds later, they are seen bringing the boy back inside. There wouldn't have been enough time for them to get all the way to the ground considering they were a floor above them a few seconds ago. (00:03:05)

Cigars of the Pharaoh: Part 2 - S1-E7

Plot hole: The doctor at the mental hospital reads the letter Doctor Finney wrote him. It read that it was Tintin who was insane and Doctor Sarcophagus who wasn't insane. However, although he totally bought it, he never even took into account that Doctor Sarcophagus was pant-less or the fact that he was dancing like an Egyptian guy, which would have been enough to prove that Sarcophagus was the insane one. Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: Calculus walks into the apartment to talk with Tintin and Haddock. When he starts talking, his back is straight and sitting upwards. The shot cuts and he is suddenly sitting slightly forwards with his head also pointing forwards. Then in the following shot after that, he is suddenly sitting with his back straight and is sitting upwards again. (00:05:05)

Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5

Other mistake: Professor Calculus brings the parts for two shark submarines (he stated in the scene prior he would bring two) to the docks in two separate crates. The crates he uses to hold the submarine parts in would not big enough to hold the entirety of the submarine. The crates shown are only a couple of feet wide and even smaller in height, but the shark submarines shown in the episode are much larger than the overall size of the crate. (00:06:50)

Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: When Calculus arrives at the docks to demonstrate the shark submarines, there are images of the submarines shown on each crate. There is no crease shown on the image on the top crate and there is a crease on the image on the bottom crate. A couple of seconds later, Haddock draws an X on the image shown on the top crate and the image shown on the top crate now suddenly has a crease on it. (00:06:50)
