Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: When Tintin and Haddock discover Calculus had been sleeping in one of the lifeboats, he wakes up and tells him he slept rather badly last night. Tintin and Haddock are standing beside each other, with Tintin partially behind Haddock. In the following shot where Haddock replies, Tintin has vanished from beside Haddock. (00:09:45)

Other mistake: Professor Calculus brings the parts for two shark submarines (he stated in the scene prior he would bring two) to the docks in two separate crates. The crates he uses to hold the submarine parts in would not big enough to hold the entirety of the submarine. The crates shown are only a couple of feet wide and even smaller in height, but the shark submarines shown in the episode are much larger than the overall size of the crate. (00:06:50)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Deliberate mistake: Haddock draws an X on the shark image of Calculus' box with a pencil. This was done as a visual gag, though the X mark is far too thick for the pencil that Haddock was using. (00:07:00)

Continuity mistake: When Haddock realises Calculus placed the shark submarines on the ship, he goes outside to find him and slips on a small puddle of booze. About two shots after this, the size of the puddle is suddenly much larger. (00:09:20)

Continuity mistake: When the Sirius is first shown, there is an anchor near the front of the ship. Later on in the episode, whilst Tintin, Haddock and the detectives go to Francis Haddock's island, the anchor has vanished. (00:06:30 - 00:10:35)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: As Calculus is escorting Tintin and Haddock through his inventions room, Haddock stops to pull a small lever on a clothes brushing machine. He pulls the lever forwards, but in the next shot, the lever is back to its original position. (00:05:40)

Continuity mistake: George's skin is a lot paler in the shot where Bill says he sailing for the South Seas with Tintin. (00:04:00)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: A crate is seen being lowered onto the Sirius when we first see it. There is an X written on the crate. The X changes font/position on the crate between shots. (00:06:30)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Other mistake: When Haddock walks over to Tintin whilst the boat is on the docks, a crate is lifted. The X that is written on the crate disappears from shot when the crate is lifted, revealing it was not animated in each frame of the shot. (00:06:45)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: In the very first shot of the Sirius, the anchor is about 10 foot away from the Sirius sign and not yet released into the water. When the boat leaves the docks, the anchor is now a mere foot away from the Sirius sign and the anchor is now retracting from the water even though it wasn't even in the water a minute ago. (00:06:30 - 00:07:40)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: The way Francis Haddock's island is shaped on the globe changes between shots. (00:20:00)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
