Continuity mistake: After Rick and Glenn cover themselves with guts, Rick tosses T-Dog the handcuff keys for Merle. T-Dog is at that moment in the rain coat and has on no hat, standing and appearing OK. The group then rushes up to the roof to watch Rick and Glenn on the street, and tell T-Dog to get back on the CB radio. Suddenly T-Dog is now leaned back sitting against the wall on the roof again with his hat and regular clothes acting all beat up again, and then shows Merle he has The Key.
Continuity mistake: Merle is handcuffed to a pipe and tries to seduce Andrea, saying they are going to die anyways. When she says, she'd rather die, his hands are apart closer to his sides, then when it cuts to a close up of him, suddenly he's got his hands together with one finger pointed at the other hand. Character mistake: While Hershel is sitting at the bar talking about what happened at the barn, he tells Rick what he was thinking about as he watched Rick run across the field, carrying Carl, who'd gotten shot. But it was Maggie who'd witnessed this through binoculars, and then yelled for Hershel.
Suggested correction: And he came outside to see Rick running across the field with Carl. No mistake.
Visible crew/equipment: Visible crew behind the tree towards which Carl walks back after replying to Hershel's "it was so peaceful" comment. (00:22:20)
Too Far Gone - S4-E8
Continuity mistake: When the Governor and his group show up and bomb one of the guard towers to get Rick and his group's attention, when Rick first runs outside the guard tower on the far left is on fire, but when Rick walks down to the fence to talk to the Governor the guard tower in front by the front gate is the one on fire. And it switches back and forth between the two. (00:16:05 - 00:19:15)
Other mistake: When the herd appear on the freeway walking around the corner it's the same footage used in the previous season, just before Rick and Michone drive the two cars at them connected by the cable.
Continuity mistake: When the stinger is deployed it covers the whole road but in the front long shot it doesn't. (00:09:05)
Revealing mistake: When the two cars drive down the freeway with the cable in-between them, there is no blood or body parts on the cars at the end despite the carnage, suggesting CGI effects.
Revealing mistake: One of the saviours goes to shoot Carol but Morgan shoots him first, about 4-5 times. The man goes through the motions of being shot and we get a good view of his body/chest area and head, but there are no bullet holes.
Continuity mistake: In the scene in the garage near the beginning of the episode where the characters are gathering supplies, the sun is on them in one shot. In the reverse shot, they are dark and the sun is no longer shining into the garage. Then back to them, it is again.
Continuity mistake: Sasha is pinned by the walker, but saved by Michonne. As she is standing up, the leaves in her hair disappear between shots.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the previous episode, Daryl leaves on a motorbike with a car following. In this episode Daryl's still out but no bike - he's in a car. It's a continuous trip with the bike he built at the compound.
Continuity mistake: When Glenn wakes up we see the door behind him is flush with the concrete, but when he goes inside you see stairs he had to descend to get to the door. There is also no scene in the entire prison episodes where an outer orange door is preceded by steps, they are all flush. Also If you look at the door behind him you see two folding chairs leaning up against the door. When he turns to open the door the chairs are gone.
Pretty Much Dead Already - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: When Shane finds Dale in the swamp trying to hide the guns, when he first sees Dale, Dale is holding a large spike to drive into the tree. In the next second they show Dale standing next to the tree with the spike already in it.
Beside the Dying Fire - S2-E13
Other mistake: While the farm is being overrun, Hershel is out front with his shotgun constantly firing. He never reloads and would never had the chance to stop and reload that weapon with so many zombies on him. His shotgun appears to have infinite ammo at this point.
Continuity mistake: When Carl shoots the masked man who is found to be wearing body armor, Rick pulls up the armor to find the bruised ribs of a Caucasian male. When the assailant is unmasked however we see that the Caucasian male has magically transformed into an African American man. (00:11:20)
Internment - S4-E5
Continuity mistake: In the previous episode, Rick and Carol are shown hunting through houses for household drugs to fight the flu. They even make a mention that most of what they find expired a year ago, but to bring it back to Hershel anyway, and let him decide about it. But in this episode, Rick returns, talks to Hershel, and no mention is made about him bringing medicine. Considering how important it was to fight the flu with any means possible, Rick would not have let Carol drive off with the potentially life-saving drugs.
Pretty Much Dead Already - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: Deleted footage/special release only: Carol confronts Daryl about the boy being held hostage inside the barn (following Sophia's death), reasoning with him about pretending not to care when he truly does. At one point he moves to her, almost in her face. However, the following shot shows only a close up of Carol, implying they are standing feet apart, which is not the case. (00:24:10)
