Modern Warfare - S1-E23

Revealing mistake: When Chang's paint bomb explodes, pay attention to the background. You will see paint exploding from three different points on the ground. (One to the center, one to the left and one to the right) The only problem is that there was only one paint bomb in the center, so it makes no sense that there are 3 explosions from different points.

Suggested correction: It's not exploding from 3 points on the ground, it's just 3 different spots on the window. However, the bomb had 3 bottles of paint which is where the three spots come from.

Incorrect. The paint very, comes from three different points in the room. The center of the screen (where Chang is) is where the bulk of it comes from, but there are two extra "bursts" on the left and right side of the screen, far away from where the "paint bomb" is actually located. (And if you don't believe me, look it up on- the scene's on YouTube. The paint burst on the left side of the screen is aimed to the right, and the paint on the right is aimed to the left- which adds a further layer of impossibility to your assertion that the paint all came from the same bomb in the center of the room.

Advanced Gay - S3-E6

Continuity mistake: We know from this episode that Pierce's father is alive, but at the beginning of episode 1-7 Pierce's mother is on the other end of the phone and speaks about seeing his father's "ghost," as if his father has passed away. (00:02:00)

Suggested correction: Pierce explains in a later episode that his mother liked to believe that his father was dead.

That's not a proper connection. Her "liking to believe" his father was dead is not her literally thinking he's dead- she just wishes he was dead. So she should know enough to know she couldn't have been seeing his ghost. It's a mistake because they decided to write Pierce's father into the show on a later date.

Advanced Documentary Filmmaking - S4-E6

Continuity mistake: When the group is making posters for the MacGuffin Institute meeting, Annie holds up a poster saying "Welcome Archie" to show off name brand glitter but the character of Archie isn't introduced until the next episode (in which the banner shows up again). (00:03:11)

Suggested correction: This isn't a mistake. The episodes were simply aired out of order than the order they were produced. "Economics of Marine Biology" (production code 406), the following episode, was filmed before "Advanced Documentary Filmmaking" (production code 408).

Advanced Introduction to Finality - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: In episode 11 of Season 4, it was stated that Leonard got an A in 1968, then opted for pass/fail to have the highest GPA in the college. In the final scene of this episode, however, it shows Greendale college as being established in 1974.

Trivia: The character Annie Edison was originally written to be either Asian or Latino, but Alison Brie did so well in her audition that she was cast. The character of "Annie Kim" (sometimes referred to as "Asian Annie") is essentially an inside joke, as she is an Annie-Edison-like character portrayed by an Asian actress as Annie was originally conceived, and serves as a "rival" to Edison throughout seasons 3-6.

Basic Lupine Urology - S3-E17

Question: When Troy and Abed are showing the yam to a lady she tells them that their yam was about to bloom, and that it was stepped on. I don't understand how she couldn't tell that it had been boiled? If she can tell that it was about to bloom, it doesn't make sense that she couldn't see that it had been in hot water. Of course, she wouldn't be at Greendale (I assume she is at Greendale but I could be wrong) if she was that good at something.

Answer: It was part of the plot that when the boiled yam was dropped it looked like it was stepped on (which it never was). So there was no way to tell the difference between the flesh being soft because it was boiled or because it was stepped on (in the show that is, I don't know if one could tell the difference in real life). Plus, the rest of the yam wasn't boiled, so there was no evidence the yam was sitting in boiling water.
