Hogan's Heroes

The Gasoline War - S5-E4

Other mistake: During the main part of the plot, the guys are putting dynamite on each truck in the convoy as they fuel up at Stalag 13. It is supposed to be dark, (hence the reason the boys wear black) but there are shadows as if it were day. It's impossible for the driver in the following truck and the guard in the tower to miss seeing the boys as they go back and forth to plant charges.

Other mistake: When the camera pans left following Brauner's car, you can see palm trees in the background. The area the Stalag is supposed to be in wouldn't have palm trees.

Other mistake: As Carter brings the German truck to a rough stop, in the closeup, you can see that although Carter and Newkirk lurch in the seats, the truck was already motionless.

Add time

The Empty Parachute - S5-E11

Other mistake: As the boys are unloading the truck, one of the cases is WEIN (wine) , and marked with a 'Z' in the corner. In Season 4 Episode 22 "The Purchasing Plan", the boxes marked "Z" were boxes containing nitro glycerin for the underground.

Funny Thing Happened on the Way to London - S3-E5

Other mistake: When Lieutenant Bauman starts speaking German, his last two words "especial mission" is said in a decidedly French accent. The correct German phrase would be "Besondere Mission" (special mission).

Bad Day in Berlin - S4-E11

The Big Broadcast - S6-E12

Other mistake: The place the car ends up on the porch is where the wooden steps would have been. But there is no debris from the destroyed steps, meaning they were removed for the gag.

The Big Broadcast - S6-E12

Other mistake: As the camera looks at the now-crashed car, the position and condition it is in is impossible. Though funny, there is no way the car could have jumped up on the porch as shown. The front would have been crushed in, the wood of the porch damaged. The interiors of the doors are impossible given that the car would have been kept in an immaculate condition.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: It is never made quite clear whether those were really supposed to be a thing or just part of an extremely elaborate plot to throw off the spy. Admittedly, if they were supposed to be part of the plot, the question how Hogan's men managed to set up such a complicated system in the time available would be a mistake in its own right.

Doc

I Look Better in Basic Black - S1-E28

Other mistake: When Hogan asked the girls if they wanted to try to escape to England, the one in "basic black" said that anything is better than being booked in a German prison camp for three years. How did she know when the war would be over?

Add time

The Purchasing Plan - S4-E22

Other mistake: Baker goes to tap the rectangular spot to open the trapdoor, not only does he hit it once rather then twice, but it sticks in the pressed position. Go Light on the Heavy Water - S1-E9

Other mistake: After the smoke bomb goes off in Klink's office, there is a shot from the outside where the boys get a blanket to catch Klink. If you look at the window of the office behind them, you can see the smoke coming out in an up and down pattern, suggesting the smoke to be coming from a rig controlled by an out-of-sight crew member.

The Gold Rush - S1-E18

Other mistake: The truck was stashed behind Hogan's barracks. The Kommandant's office was on the other side of the building. While stealing the boxes of gold, there would be no way that the POWs would have been able to see any approaching figure.

The Gold Rush - S1-E18

Other mistake: After the truck is stopped, Newkirk tosses a dart at the tyre in order to flatten it. Since the tyre hit was the rear tire, there should have been the track from the front tire, but wasn't. Also, a puny, hand-tossed dart couldn't have penetrated the thick construction of a heavy-duty truck tire, let alone flatten it in twenty seconds.

The Gold Rush - S1-E18

Other mistake: When stopping the truck and Schultz, the area directly behind Carter and LeBeau can be seen to be a matte painting. The reason is because where they are is completely covered in snow, but the open area is very little, and there is a huge snowdrift piled up at the wall.

Klink's Masterpiece - S6-E3

Other mistake: When the boys are working on the "jigsaw" map, Klink and the guard come in. There is a gust of wind from their entrance. Trouble is, the gust that blows the pieces comes from behind LeBeau, blowing the pieces toward Newkirk's bunk, rather than toward the camera.

Oil for the Lamps of Hogan - S1-E14

Other mistake: Anytime Hogan steals one of Klink's cigars from the back of the humidor, he takes the hinge pin out from the left of the box (camera's right). This time, he takes out the pin, got the cigar, and put the pin back in from just what looked like just left (camera's right) of center.

Add time

Hot Money - S3-E9

Other mistake: When the head counterfeiter comes in, there is a sign on the barracks behind him that says "BARRACK 3." Two problems with this. First, Hogan and company are housed in Barrack 3. Second, there is not a Barrack building between Hogan's building and Klink's office building.

The Informer - S1-E1

Other mistake: Klink has on his monocle, as usual. If you look closely, the monocle is a single lens, with no frame. From Episode 2 onward, the monocle has a frame and a gallery. Also, Klink wears it at an angle, not unlike the Penguin in the original Batman series, who also wore a monocle without a frame.

Other mistake: When Carter goes to switch the full cup for the empty one, he accidentally sloshes water on Newkirk's hand and the fan of cards in it. When Carter goes to move the cups, look at Newkirk's hand. The cup exchange happens in front of the hand. The hand is out of range of the water.

Don't Forget to Write - S2-E13

Other mistake: When the recruiting officer is talking to Klink, Hogan and company listen in, as usual. The problem is the coffee pot. Any other time, they take off the top, take out the basket (which is the speaker) and plug in the power: this time, they forgot to remove the top to hear it, which would have muffled the sound. But the conversation was heard just the same.

The Gypsy - S6-E13

Other mistake: In the end of the episode, after LeBeau said "Hit the deck!", the camera looks to the half-track. According to the plan, there was to be a nitro charge inside it to blow it up. Watch the tarp toward the front. It twitches upward in response to a small explosion on the ground, rather than inside. The sound effects complete the illusion.

Hold That Tiger - S1-E2

Other mistake: After Shultz herds the prisoners into the barracks, Hogan opens the door and motions to Newkirk in the tank to get going. Problem is, there are no side viewports for Newkirk to see Hogan, and it looks like he motions to the camera. Also, Shultz is at the wrong end of the building to see the tank go into the end of the barracks.

Mistakes

When the "Boat" is loaded on a "trailer", you can see that it has very little ground clearance. The wheels of the "trailer" actually are hidden behind the boards like on a parade wagon. The boat has no keel and no hull below its freeboard. Besides the question of how the boat got onto the trailer if it is practically built around it, there remains the question of how it is supposed to stay afloat without a keel or a bottom.

Trivia

During WW2 Robert Clary, who played Louis LeBeau, had been imprisoned at Drancy internment camp in France, and at Buchenwald Nazi concentration camp where he was tattooed with the number "A5714." He was the youngest of 16 children. Twelve members of his immediate family were sent to Auschwitz, and perished.
