Continuity mistake: When Jason is impersonating the God Who Comes, the position of the blue rope tying Sam to the roof of the car, keeps changing position between shots. For example, when Mike Spencer says, "You're the God Who Comes?", the rope is under Sam's chest; in other shots, it's behind his neck.
Continuity mistake: When Jason is talking to Andy at the Merlottes', he sticks his fork backwards into his sandwich. A couple of shots later, the fork has mysteriously disappeared, and there's not even a hole or mark in the sandwich. The fork reappears a few shots later.
Continuity mistake: When Jason is confronted by the son of Sharon Singer at the sheriff's office, his arms keep changing position; most notably, when the kid attacks him, Jason's right arm goes from being over the kid's arm to being pinned between shots.
Character mistake: When Bill mentions to Sophie-Anne that drinking the maenad's blood poisoned him, she says that vampires can only feed off human blood. However, across the show, we've seen vampires drink from fairies, werewolves and even the blood of other vampires, like Lilith's blood.
Continuity mistake: When Sookie points the shotgun at Debbie and says, "Get out of my house, bitch", she fires the weapon and blows the doll's house by the window to bits. The damage to the doll's house and the debris surrounding it changes dramatically between shots. For example, when the house explodes, the entire roof comes off, but the back wall is still intact; a couple of shots later, most of the back wall is missing and parts of the roof are undamaged.
Continuity mistake: After Sookie discovers that the rednecks are plotting to kill the vampires, as she attempts to get Sam to intervene, Sam places two mugs of beer on the counter. The mugs keep alternating between being full and half full between shots.
Plot hole: In the episode where Jessica went home to her family's house in season 2, Bill said "someone who lives here must invite me in." In this episode, Russell Edgington's wolf (Coota) invites Russell into Alcide's apartment. Also, in Season 6 Sarah Newlin recinds Jessica's invitation into Jason's house (which only Jason should be able to do).
Continuity mistake: After Marnie/Antonia sees the damage she has caused with her spell and is spotted by the vampires, in the next shot she is standing in front of Roy. In the shot immediately after, she is standing at least a foot to the left of Roy.
Character mistake: Eric accuses Bill of feeding Sookie his blood the night they met, but it wasn't until the night after they met that Bill gave Sookie his blood in order to save her life. Eric makes the same mistake when confronting Bill in front of Sookie in "Evil Is Going On".
Continuity mistake: When Bill dines with Russell and Talbot, Talbot takes a sip of carbonated blood and puts his glass down on the table, on his right, next to another glass. In the next shot, he puts his glass down again. A couple of shots later, both glasses have jumped to his left side.
Continuity mistake: When Eric and Russell are lying outside Fangtasia while smoldering in the sunlight, their position on the ground keeps changing between shots, seen from the painted lines on Fangtasia's parking lot. For example, in the first shot, their heads are several inches away from the blue line, and Russell is lying on a white line. In the following close-ups, Eric is now lying on a white line instead, while Russell is not, and both have moved much closer to the blue line. Can't be due to vampire speed, as both are chained with silver.
Continuity mistake: When Hoyt is talking to Jason while fixing Maxine's kitchen sink, as Hoyt says, "Why do you care anyway?", Jason has his hand on the edge of the worktop/counter. In the next shot, his hand is resting on the dishwasher, below the counter.

Continuity mistake: When Lafayette is possessed by Mavis and shoots at the police, Jason and Andy run out of the house. In the wide-shot, Jason throws himself on the ground, and rolls around on Andy's right. In the following close-up, Jason lands on the ground again, this time on Andy's left.
