Continuity mistake: When Jane speaks to the owners of the restaurant, the female owner is writing something and also has a drink. She takes the drink with the pen in the same hand. When the shots changes, the pen is no longer in her hand. The shot goes back to the original position and the pen appears again. (00:09:35)
Continuity mistake: When we first see Rigsby interview Lindsay, she says "Royston would never hurt Mary Beth. Not in a million years, if that's what you're thinking." Later in the episode when this scene is shown again in flashback, she says "Royston would never hurt Mary Beth if that's what you're thinking, not in a million years."

Continuity mistake: After examining Melanie's body but before jumping out of the ditch, Lisbon takes off the rubber glove from her right hand. In the next shot, the glove is back on. (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: Dale Blakely punches Patrick in the nose for talking to his wife. In pain, Patrick first holds his nose with his right hand. Cut and it's his left hand. The hands alternate throughout the scene. (00:28:45)
Continuity mistake: At the end, Lisbon gives Christine's father a card and tells him to get help for his alcoholism. The way she holds the card differs between shots.
Continuity mistake: The victim's father comes face to face with Flipper at CBI and he lunges towards Flipper. Lisbon stops him. At first her right hand is on his left shoulder. Cut to the shot from behind, the same hand is now under his left armpit.
Continuity mistake: This happens right at the very end at the hotel room in Mexico. Jane and Lisbon are sitting on the bed and the cellphone rings. It's Red John calling. There's a beer bottle next to the phone on a round table. At first the label faces towards the middle of the table. When Jane picks the phone up, the label now faces the other way. (00:43:20)
