Continuity mistake: When Max is phoning the Chief to let him know the mission's been accomplished, he takes the oars out of the oarlocks before opening his shoephone. The oars change from being out of the oarlocks in the closeups to still being in the water in the long shots for the rest of the episode.

Continuity mistake: When Max is walking around the school grounds he walks up to man breaking a piece of wood. The man breaks a piece of wood and then bends down to pick up a new piece, leaving one on the ground. The shot changes and Max is standing there talking and the man breaks the piece of wood and bends down to pick up another one (which should be the last piece). However there is another piece left on the ground.
Continuity mistake: When Max is attacking the boat there is a shot from inside the cabin. Watch the door. Before Max shoots, there are a series of holes in the shade covering the door (they look like bullet holes). Max begins firing and there is another shot from inside and bullet holes begin appearing in the walls. The holes in the shade however, are gone.
Factual error: In this episode, Max is wrongly convicted of murder in the first degree. However, first degree murder is actually pre-planned murder. As revealed earlier when the Max impostor holds up the bank, his partner compliments him on killing the guard as though it was a spontaneous decision. As the court does not know whether killing the guard was part of the plan, it was most likely that Max would be convicted of second-degree (intentional, but not pre-planned) murder.
Continuity mistake: Max and 99 are sitting on the sofa. There is a knock at the door and Max fires 3 bullets into the door from a gun. Later, the same day the door is shown behind Max and 99 and there no gunshot holes in the door. Also, 99 changed her clothes and Max still has on the same clothes.

Visible crew/equipment: When Max and 99 are trapped in the room with the hatch that leads down to the Guru's chamber, the filmmakers didn't bother to make it seem like a giant hole in the ground, and they also didn't bother about the floor of the set being about ten centimetres below the hatch.
Plot hole: Zharko's process of using the dead bodies of agents and reviving them could only work if he had them at about at most a day after they were killed. Since his secret lab is on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere, they could not have got the bodies to him in time. The Chief also said that the bodies suffered severe damage, so their ability to move would be seriously hindered, but they work fine.
Factual error: If there really was a hatch leading into mid-air in the airplane bathroom, instead of being soundless like shown, it would be incredibly loud and Max would have noticed. Also, the sudden pressure change would have sucked him out no matter what he did to stop it.
Character mistake: The leader of the Purple Knights says that they would only be bike riders if they couldn't tell which gender someone was by their hair. This is a major mistake, because if you look at the hair of the Purple Knights, it's incredibly easy to tell which gender someone is.
Plot hole: The scheme to lead a blindfolded Max and 99 to what they think is the airport via an illusion room would not work the way they do it. Since the base is underground, there is no way that what they did to represent ascending to ground level that would make a person think they were above ground.
Continuity mistake: Episode 16, season 4, "The Day They Raided the Knights." In Max's apartment, Max sneaks up behind 99 to give her a kiss. She punches him in the jaw and he falls back against the wall to the right of the doorknob. The scene changes to a close up of Max and he is sitting on the floor to the left of the doorknob.
Character mistake: Season 2, Episode 27 'Pussycat Galore' :Maxwell translates his famous line "And loving it' into the German 'Und damit gefreut'. Agent 99 who claims to speak German fluently confirms it. This translation is both far away from the meaning and doesn't make any sense at all. The right translation is 'Und liebe es'.
Visible crew/equipment: When Max and 99 have reached the mansion, they both get out of the car to look in the trunk. As they start walking, some lightning occurs. If you look up at the top, you can see where the fake sky ends and the visible back of the stage begins.

Plot hole: In this episode, the villain makes a phone call to KAOS headquarters when he's captured demanding that they kill Max to stop him testifying in court against him. Later, several say that Max is the only witness to the villain's crimes, but the Chief and 99 were in the room when the villain made the call, so they could have been witnesses to "conspiracy to commit murder."
Continuity mistake: When Max brings the coffee to the doctor's office, his suit is dark blue. After the opening credits he has no time to change, so how come his suit becomes dark gray?
Plot hole: Doctor Yes' execution trap involves a booth flooding with water, drowning the occupant, and the water pushes a float upwards, eliminating another via a spinning blade. However, several times the float reaches the top of the booth, and the spinning blade doesn't kill anyone. There's also a breathing space at the top of the booth, so people couldn't drown in there.
Continuity mistake: In episode 17 of season 4, "Tequila Mockingbird," Max is going to pour tequila in Valdez's glass. The camera closes up to show Max picking up a bottle with a candle on it. The candle falls into the glass. When the camera angle changes to show Valdez and Max, the candle is gone.
