Continuity mistake: When Barney asks Fred if he could have 25 cents for a sandwich whilst practising their ventriloquism act for "The Ed Sullystone Show", you can see Barney has his left arm on his knee, but when we see a close-up of Fred in the next shot, Barney's left arm is missing.

Continuity mistake: When Barney shows Fred the ad in the paper about new novelty acts for "The Ed Sullystone Show", the ad says "Apply Bedrock Broadcasting Co" at the bottom. When we see Fred and Barney in the queue with the other applicants, the station is now called "Bedrock Television Company."

Continuity mistake: When Fred stands on the scales, he is holding a dish containing the reducing formula and there are bubbles coming out of it. In the next shot, there are no bubbles to be seen, but in the next shot, they are back again.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Dino is excited to see Fred back home and he runs and jumps on Fred. When he lands on Fred, on the grass behind him there is the drive to the garage, but in a close-up of Fred, the drive is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Betty walks into the house and is surprised see Fred reduced to a small size, there is nothing by Fred on the ground, but in a close-up of Fred, some small stones have appeared.

Continuity mistake: Barney is holding a newspaper in his right hand when he rushes over to Fred's house, but in the shot of him standing in the doorway, the newspaper is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Fred tells Wilma that he is stopping inventing at the end of the episode, he pours the remains of the reducing formula out of the window into Dino's bowl and Fred has a glass in his left hand. When he hears Dino at the front door, the glass has gone.

Continuity mistake: When Barney opens the door and sends Fred flying in the mouse hole, there are two large stones outside the hole, but in the next shot there are now three small stones.

Continuity mistake: When Barney and Betty walk into the Flintstones' kitchen for a cup of tea, Barney stops and behind him there is a table with a lamp on it. In the next shot, the table and lamp have disappeared, and there is now a shelf with plates on the wall.

Continuity mistake: When we first see Pebbles playing on the slide near the sandpit, there are stones near the pit. When we see Bamm-Bamm lifting up the slide, the stones are nowhere to be seen.
