Visible crew/equipment: As the camera pans to the left at the start of this episode, while everyone is asleep in the dorm upstairs, a crew member standing near the production's lighting equipment is visible between Squad 10 and the wall. Other mistake: At the very start, when the camera moves through Station 10 while the guys are asleep upstairs, we see one of the engines has license plate E111196, but en route there's a closeup of Rescue 10 and its license plate is also E111196.

Dealer's Wild - S1-E6

Revealing mistake: After Station 51 is dispatched to "traffic accident with injuries," when they're on scene at the plant with the injured tanker driver, pay particular attention to the background behind Engine 51 while Roy is on the Biophone with Rampart. When Brackett says, "51, can you give me any more information," we can actually see Station 51 aka 127, directly behind Roy.

Cook's Tour - S1-E4

Visible crew/equipment: At the construction site, when Johnny and Roy climb the tower mast, they stop on the blue platform with the crane operator's cab before continuing up to the main jib. When Roy, Johnny, and the man they rescue walk back across the jib the man slips, and there are a few shots showing the underside of the blue platform, and we can see people moving around on that platform overhead. There should only be four people on the tower crane: Roy, Johnny, the man they rescue, and the officer holding the bullhorn, who's standing at the other end of the jib, by the mast. Nobody is supposed to be on that platform.

Cook's Tour - S1-E4

Visible crew/equipment: At the construction site, when Roy and Johnny walk across the tower crane's main jib, there's a shot of the entire top of the crane, and we can see the cameraman at the tower peak, who is shooting the footage of the stunt guys from the overhead angle. He wasn't in the previous long shot of the crane. This does not refer to the officer who is standing on the main jib.

Weird Wednesday - S1-E9

Visible crew/equipment: While Roy and John are on scene with the "car over cliff" Johnny heads down to the car too quickly, and when he ends up falling his mic transmitter and wire slip out from their hidden area, and become visible on the front of his shirt.

Dilemma - S1-E10

Visible crew/equipment: After the man with trichloroethylene poisoning is hosed down and loaded onto the ambulance, while Roy's on the Biophone with Rampart, John's uniform jacket is pulled open with his hands on his hips, and we can see the outline of his mic transmitter in his shirt pocket with the wires coming out of the pocket.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Other mistake: At the start we see that Station 10 has one rig with an aerial ladder and two engines. While Station 10 is en route to the fire, there's a closeup of Truck 10 (ladder) and its license plate reads E111074, yet when they're on scene Truck 10's license plate reads E111083.

Other mistake: When the electrocution victim is loaded onto the ambulance, we can see there's a large piece of rectangular material adhered to the ambulance back door, with the name Mayfair printed on it. Then when the ambulance arrives at Rampart, the word Mayfair is now huge on that back door and the "M" is even over the door lock.

Weird Wednesday - S1-E9

Revealing mistake: When Squad 51 is dispatched to the man who has difficulty breathing, once they arrive and it cuts to a closeup, at the top of the screen there is a small dark film square that moves towards the left corner, and then it stays there in the following shots facing Johnny, until he contacts Rampart on the Biophone.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Visible crew/equipment: During the factory fire, after the Battalion Chief tells 127 over the HT, "Take the steamer hydrant at Fifth and Crocker, lay a three-and-a-half down the driveway..." three shots later there's a closeup of a spraying hose, and we can see in the background another cameraman and crew member shooting footage with a handheld.

Mascot - S1-E2

Visible crew/equipment: At the scene of Paula's traffic accident, after the ambulance leaves with Johnny and Paula inside, Roy pushes the back of the driver's seat forward revealing Bonnie in the back seat. When it cuts to the next shot, the reflection of a crew member leaning forward is visible in the car's window, and the mic is also visible on the left. Additionally, Johnny is visible in the background, even though he just left in the ambulance with the victim, as the actor who portrays him, Randolph Mantooth, is casually leaning on a sign post waiting around during the location shoot.

Botulism - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When DeSoto and Gage arrive at Rampart their black helmets are not hanging in Squad 51, when they enter the hospital. A moment later, when they're dispatched, both helmets are hanging in their proper place behind the seat. The distance between the squad and ambulance has also increased.

Trainee - S2-E8

Roy: I think you're on some sort of an ego trip, Ed. And in my book that makes you a very dangerous character.
Ed: [Laughs.] Ego trip, huh? Well, I didn't realize that psychiatry was part of the paramedic's training.
Roy: Oh that's good, Ed, you be funny. But that isn't gonna change anything. You wanna know what I figure? Well, I figure when you were working in Vietnam, it was rough. So rough you started playing over your head. And you were making it, you were doing real good. Considering it was a combat situation. And pretty soon you started getting all blown up about how Ed Marlowe is just as good as the real doctors. And you've been living on that ever since. And the trouble is, Ed, you are good. Except for two little problems. You can't quit competing with real doctors. And you can't face being wrong. You see, those people we treat out there, I mean the people we work for, the people who pay for this whole operation, they're real people, Ed, with real problems. And they have a right to expect more than just being used by you for some sort of trip. [Completely exasperated.] I guess what I'm trying to say to you, Ed, is that in my book you're just plain unprofessional.
[Ed walks out.]
John: Do you think it did any good?
Roy: Do you?

The Game - S6-E1

Trivia: It's in this episode that the Heimlich Maneuver is used for the first time by the paramedics. At the USC game, when a guy is choking on a hot dog, John and Roy are called, and John uses the Heimlich. Up until season 6 we've seen the guys use other methods, such as the ChokeSaver which look like huge white tweezers, to remove obstructions in an airway, as seen in 4x9, "Foreign Trade."
