Continuity mistake: The exploding playing card that Gambit uses to destroy a few Sentinels and draw the rest above ground is cleverly shown to be the ace of spades (also known as the death card in some folklore), but the card he is shown charging up before the Sentinels see it is the 2 of diamonds.
Continuity mistake: When Gyrich is in the car trying to get Trask on the phone, he is shown to be sitting in the backseat on the passenger side (note the windows immediately to his right and behind him). When his driver crashes the car into a tree, Gyrich is shown exiting the car from the front passenger seat.
Continuity mistake: When Storm is teasing Gambit for damaging the pool table, she is holding a television remote in her left hand, which is yellow (Storm doesn't wear gloves). A couple of shots later, she is holding the remote in her right hand (she had time to transfer the remote to her other hand, so no mistake there), which is colored correctly.
Continuity mistake: When Rogue and Gambit are playing pool and Rogue is getting ready to try and sink the 8-ball, the cue ball is shown to be close to the corner pocket and its rail. When the shot changes, both balls are suddenly further away from the pocket and the rail. It's an instantaneous change, so it can't be a matter of the cue ball rolling.
Continuity mistake: When Cyclops forces his way to the front of the crowd to confront Warren Worthington (Mystique in disguise), the Lady Gardener is standing just behind the mutant with the bowl-cut hairdo. When the shot changes, the two are suddenly standing next to each other.
Continuity mistake: When Cable blasts Warren off the balcony, Warren falls and drifts into the snow a couple feet, leaving an impression of his shape in the process. When he recovers, he emerges from completely under the snow as if he were buried, but the impression is still there in the snow moments later when he retreats, so it could not have refilled itself with fresh powder and buried him.

Continuity mistake: When Cable grabs Warren through a shelf on his bookcase, he knocks several books onto the floor. When Warren pushes the bookcase over, there is an overhead shot of the floor surrounding the bookcase for several feet in each direction and there are no books visible on the floor.
Continuity mistake: When Warren shoots his blaster through the bookcase, the blast goes through some books/file folders that say "DNA Test 6" and "DNA Test 7" while "DNA Test 4" and "DNA Test 5" are warped out of shape. When he pushes the bookcase over, the two warped books/file folders are back to normal.
Continuity mistake: When Warren's girlfriend is saying "They say you keep a mad scientist up here," the earring on her left ear goes from being comprised of five gray circles, to four, and then back to five in the same shot. Both of her earrings are then comprised of four circles for the remainder of the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Gambit tries to grab the gun, Cable stops him by placing his left foot on top of it. When the shot changes, it is now Cable's right foot that is on the gun. Additionally, yellow lane dividers in the middle of the road disappear when Gambit first reaches for the gun, and then reappear a couple of shots later.
Continuity mistake: When Cable shoots his exploding plasma blast at the conference table, the blast is shown coming through the window from a downward angle. However, the tree branch that Cable is subsequently shown to be using as his vantage point is lower than the window, so the blast could not have come at a downward angle.
Continuity mistake: After Gambit unlocks his collar, he lets the collar fall to the ground. In the next shot, the collar is visible on the ground a couple feet in front of him. In the shot after that when he retrieves the gun, the collar is no longer visible on the ground.
Continuity mistake: Before the mutants ambush the guards, they are walking in a single-file line, with Sunfire in front, followed by Jubilee, Mystique, Caliban, an unnamed female mutant, and Aurora. A couple of shots later, either Aurora or her similarly-dressed twin brother Northstar is suddenly at the front of the line.
Continuity mistake: Gambit and Jubilee are shown to be grouping together what appears to be several pieces of malleable rebar. When the shot changes to Gambit reassuring Jubilee that Storm is alive, he is shown to be working with a single piece of rebar. When the shot changes again, they are back to working with a bunch of rebar.
Continuity mistake: When Cyclops is running through the mine to search for Wolverine and Gambit, he uses his visor to track their location. When the shot changes to a first person view through Cyclops' visor, the background is merely moving up and down. If he was running as the previous shot had shown, the objects in the background from his point of view would become larger as he got closer to them.
Continuity mistake: Jubilee destroys a Sentinel by tricking it into colliding with a train car full of tar and then using her powers to blast the car and cause tar to spill all over the Sentinel. After Jubilee is rescued by Rogue from the Sentinel that grabbed her from behind, the Sentinel that Jubilee destroyed, as well as the train car, have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: Magneto reveals to Senator Kelly that he went to Washington, DC to personally witness his assassination. The flashback to the previous episode reveals that Magneto was watching Mystique (masquerading as Gambit) attempt to assassinate Kelly and the real Gambit's intervention through a window. Magneto can be seen as plain as day watching in the window in the flashback, yet in the actual episode, Magneto is never there. The design of the window is also different, as well as the color of the curtains. The room itself also appears to be smaller in the flashback.

Continuity mistake: When Professor X, Cyclops and Jean Grey enter the room where Senator Kelly was abducted, Cyclops goes over to inspect the hole in the wall and Professor X states that his watch has stopped working. Cyclops, still on the other side of the room, asks why that's important. When Professor X drops his watch and it clings to his hover-chair to demonstrate that it's been magnetized, Cyclops is suddenly behind Professor X.
Continuity mistake: The final scene from the previous episode is reprised in the beginning of this episode, yet some of the dialogue is different or omitted altogether. In Part 1, when Storm says "We all have dark sides to our souls," Wolverine responds by telling her to speak for herself and states he's more suspicious of Bishop than anybody. Also, when Rogue walks in and asks who Bishop is, before anyone can tell her, Gambit announces his arrival. When Bishop accuses Gambit of being the traitor, Gambit tells him he thinks there's been a mistake. In this episode, Wolverine never states that he is suspicious of Bishop, Professor X tells Rogue who Bishop is before Gambit walks in, and when Bishop accuses Gambit of being the traitor, he fires his gun at him before Gambit can even say anything.

Continuity mistake: When Jubilee blasts Sabretooth through walls of the War Room and outside, it is shown to be on the mansion's ground level. Many other episodes however depict the War Room to be in the underground levels of the mansion, specifically in the episode "The Unstoppable Juggernaut" where the War Room is still intact after the mansion is destroyed from the ground up.

Continuity mistake: When the team arrives at the destroyed mansion at the end of the previous episode, Wolverine is shown to be growling and extending his claws. When the team is shown arriving at the destroyed mansion at the beginning of this episode, Wolverine is shown to be casually putting on his mask and walking towards the exit ramp of the Blackbird.

Continuity mistake: When Gambit is avoiding the electrified coils in the Danger Room, his normally black and red eyes are colored like a normal person and his gloves are entirely fingerless whereas they are usually only fingerless for the thumb, index and pinkie fingers.
Continuity mistake: When Sabretooth is sitting in the hover chair in the War Room, the chair is shown to be hovering up and down in the wide shot, but when a closeup of Sabretooth is shown, the background behind him remains stationary, indicating the chair is also stationary.
Continuity mistake: When Rogue goes to touch Wolverine with her bare hand to stop him, she is shown removing the glove from her right hand. After Wolverine collapses, Rogue is now missing the glove from her left hand, and her entire left arm, including the hand, is solid green.
Continuity mistake: Immediately after Storm, Wolverine, Beast and Morph exit the Mutant Registration Center, Beast and Wolverine are shown to be running alongside Gambit and Cyclops. However, mere moments later, Gambit is shown to be blowing up a security fence so Storm, Wolverine, Beast and Morph can rendezvous with Gambit, Cyclops and Rogue.

Continuity mistake: The Sentinel that is intercepting Jubilee when she is running back home to check on her foster parents is initially following her along the sidewalk from behind, but suddenly catches up to her in a perpendicular path from the street. There are only two Sentinels shown in this scene and the other one caught her from the front as it turned a corner, so it couldn't have been a different one.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the previous episode, Rogue says to Cyclops "You look nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs," to which he responds, "I just wish I knew what was happening in there." Cyclops then immediately looks to his right and sees military vehicles approaching and says "We've got trouble." At the beginning of this episode, the same scene is shown again, only this time Gambit says "If that was me in there you wouldn't have to worry" before the military vehicles are shown to be arriving.

Continuity mistake: Gambit is the central character in the previous episode "Slave Island", and is on the Blackbird with the rest of the team when they arrive at the destroyed X-Mansion. However, the very next episode begins where "Slave Island" left off, and Gambit is conspicuously missing from the episode.
