Continuity mistake: In the scene before the opening freeze frames occur, a giant mask, hanging on the wall, is shown several times. A close-up of the shape of the tongue before it shoots the arrow is not the same elongated shape which was shown a few seconds earlier.

Continuity mistake: In the closing scene of this episode, there is a daytime close-up of their boxcar. When Ms. McCoy walks into the boxcar, it is pitch black outside. Ms McCoy leaves after a very short visit. The last shot of the boxcar leaving shows it is nighttime.

Continuity mistake: In the next to last scene of this episode, while West is fighting, Gordon is seated knocked out. However, the position of Gordon's legs and right arm keep changing positions throughout West's fight.
The Night the Dragon Screamed - S1-E17
Continuity mistake: After West saves the man from falling into the spiked pit, they walk to leave but a trap door opens, and they fall into the water. As they get onto the pier, both of them are soaking wet and have wet hair. They crawl out, sit, and start talking. The close-up of their faces, while they talk, shows that both of them now have dry hair.

Other mistake: Immediately after the opening credits, West has just finished printing a poster. The poster is still on the printing press and shows what was printed face-up. When he prints the next poster, the image is not showing on the face-up side but on the bottom side when he takes it off the printer.
The Night of the Human Trigger - S1-E12
Revealing mistake: In the next to last scene of this episode during the Sawtooth earthquake, while boulders are falling and trees are being uprooted, West, Gordon, and Faith are not struggling to keep their balance so as not to fall, they are just motionless standing - something that cannot happen with such a strong earthquake. The camera, which is shaking, attempts to make it look as if the three are shaking with the earthquake.

Revealing mistake: In the opening earthquake scene right before the freeze frames appear, West and Gordon are in the bar. The glasses and pitcher on the bar by the bartender, the bottles of liquor behind the bartender, the bottle on top of the piano, and the ashtrays on two tables never move out of place, even though other tables have broken, chairs have toppled, the ceiling is destroyed, and the support beam falls. It is obvious the camera is doing the shaking, not the ground.

Continuity mistake: Half way through this episode, the private train is standing still surrounded by dirt and short grass. However, when the private boxcar door opens, there are very large trees and bushes a few feet from the door.

Continuity mistake: The opening of the last scene shows the train moving through an area with large trees along both sides of the track. The closing scene shows the train in an arid area with uneven rotting wooden posts and dried up sage grass.
The Night That Terror Stalked the Town - S1-E10
Revealing mistake: During the final scene where West and his double, Janus, are shooting at one another, the two look identical to one another. West goes to the roof and jumps off onto Janus who is by the cannon. However, the revealing mistake is the original looking Janus is playing the role of West diving off the roof, and the one who is fighting Robert Conrad who is supposed to be playing his double, Janus, is standing by the cannon. When the two begin to fight on the ground, one should not be able to tell the two apart, but it is apparent the faces are different. The mistake is fixed when the two get off the ground and now both fighters look like West.
The Night That Terror Stalked the Town - S1-E10
Continuity mistake: Three fourths into this episode, West is in a room with an hourglass. The hourglass shows a few grains of sand before it empties. Next shot is of Gordon trying to get through the chained gates. Camera shot back to West's room, which shows a fuller hourglass with more sand, which lasts for minutes as this episode continues, until all the sand empties from the top.
The Night of the Casual Killer - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: Last scene shows the boxcar in the middle of dirt and short grass. The scene ends with the train moving. Seen near the tracks is a fence of rotting wooden stakes that were not there in the previous shot.
The Night of Sudden Death - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: In the scene after the first freeze frame, Corinne is affixed on a round arrow target. Corinne's body keeps changing positions even though the target has stopped spinning. First long shot, she is horizontal with her head at #3. The close-up has her almost vertical with her head at #1. Next close-up, her head is at #2. Following long shot, she is horizontal (head at #3). This keeps occurring throughout this scene.

Continuity mistake: After the opening credits, West is riding on an open field of short grass to meet his personal train - both train and West stop. West's close-up shot shows a large tree directly behind him - this is impossible for there were no trees close to him in the previous shot.

Continuity mistake: The first transformed freeze frame for this episode appears on the upper right side which is different from the pilot's lower left side. Also, this episode's freeze frame image appears looking like a grainy photo when compared to the pilot's pencil sketch-like image.

Continuity mistake: When Dr. Loveless records his and West's conversation, West says "You belong in jail." When Dr. Loveless plays the recording for Janus in a subsequent scene, West says "Jail is where you belong." (00:14:05 - 00:16:40)

Continuity mistake: Artie inspects the electrical panel on the wall and the throw switch is at a horizontal position. A quick cut later and it is at a slightly lower angle.

Continuity mistake: West tries to stop the moving wall with a rock. In the up close shots, the moving wall is nearing the end of its travel, while the long shots show the wall quite a way back from the end of its travel.

Audio problem: The scene begins with Artie sitting in a rainstorm. Then, when the wagon carrying West arrives, the rain stops, but the sound of the rain is heard through the duration of the scene.

Continuity mistake: Outside the warehouse dock, West holds his gun at a high angle, then the quick shot of him from behind shows it considerably lower.
