Selfless - S4-E12

Corrected entry: At the end of the episode, Michael's sleeves are rolled up and his tattoos have miraculously disappeared.

Correction: He has his tattoos removed in the second episode of season 4.

Pilot - S1-E1

Corrected entry: Veronica pulls Lincoln's file after being informed that The Bishop was killed in his home. The file lists Lincoln Burrows as the Plaintiff, and State of Illinois as the defendant. Given that it was a murder trial, these should be reversed.

xx:xx:xx

SwingBlade

Correction: The case was Lincoln's appeal where he would be the Plaintiff.

Rendezvous - S2-E10

Corrected entry: Linc and LJ are saved by Linc's father's people near Wilcox, Arizona. They are taken to Linc's father in Trinidad, Colorado. It is shown as taking only a short while, and the other events have not come very far during the transportation. Sarah is still getting ready to meet Michael. However, Wilcox to Trinidad is a 10 hour drive.

Jacob La Cour

Correction: Showing two different characters time lines is hardly a mistake, Sara and Link don't meet up here. If they had met it would be a mistake, but they don't. This is common practice in storytelling where a group is separated.

Greedy

Otis - S2-E2

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bellick is about to commit suicide, his mother yells that there is a reward on the Fox River Eight. When Bellick replies, he is speaking very low, almost whispering, but his mother seems to hear him loud and clear.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: I don't see it that way. I know that houses like his with hardwood floors amplify sound, also the dramatic music is playing, so you don't realize that the house could be dead quiet, also she is right on the other side of the door. Also she is old, she most likely has a hearing aid. Those things are powerful although I understand that last part is a bit of a stretch, none the less...plausible.

Greedy

Rendezvous - S2-E10

Corrected entry: While Sara and Michael are running around the factory getting chased by Mahone, Paul Kellerman is seen in Wilcox Arizona. Sara and Michael go to their hotel in Gila New Mexico. Michael takes a bath and Sara leaves. When she steps out of the car Paul is there. How did he cover the 130 miles from Wilcox to Gila in that time?

Jacob La Cour

Correction: The exact passing of time is never shown, only that it's still daytime, and that he took a shower and some time passed, its very possible/plausible that 3-4 hours passed...even if it was only 2 hours, 130 miles is easily do-able on the interstate driving 70/mph. Not to mention he is on an important time sensitive mission, he would be speeding whenever possible, I'm sure he isn't worried about tickets. Being a secret service agent and all.

Rendezvous - S2-E10

Corrected entry: When Mahoney is locked in the cage, you can see that both sides of the cage door have key locks, but when William Kim comes to rescue him, William magically has the key.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: While locked in the cage, Alex called Kellerman but instead Bill Kim was sent to pick him up. So he not only knew where he was locked up at, but had plenty of time to get a key.

Bishop73

Rendezvous - S2-E10

Corrected entry: Sarah bandages Michael's left arm, then he emerges from a shower with his right arm bandaged.

Correction: It is his reflection in the mirror.

Bang and Burn - S3-E8

Corrected entry: When Michael is seen changing his shirt after the fight with Whistler, the burn on his left shoulder blade he received from a pipe in Fox River isn't there.

Cubs Fan Premium member

Correction: The burn is there, just look closely.

Brother's Keeper - S1-E16

Corrected entry: When Michael gets put in solitary, Sucre is the only one who is left to fill in the hole in the guards' room. However the convicts had already started to fill in the hole with cement, so there is no way Sucre could have climbed up into the guards' room from below with a layer of concrete blocking his way.

Correction: The men had not yet began to cement the flooring. They had only put a board down which would get in his way.

The Art of the Deal - S3-E13

Corrected entry: Luis and Alphonso Gallego travel from Panama to Colombia with a car. Due to an absence of roads, there is no way to cross the Darien Gap with a car.

xx:xx:xx

ZepHead

Correction: Yes there is. There's a ferry between Turbo, Colombia and Capurgana, Panama.

Season 2 generally

Corrected entry: Season 2, Episode 10: T-Bag is linked to the heater when the cops start knocking on the door. He goes down to bite his hand off, and has completed that and gotten away before the cops enter. How long were they knocking on that door?!

Jacob La Cour

Correction: They also had to break in in order to enter. Lawful minimum time before they can do that is, I believe, around 10 minutes. Time compression was used, and that time seems sufficient.

Riots, Drills and the Devil (1) - S1-E6

Corrected entry: Michael rescues Sara by crawling through a pipe leading into the infirmary. Later in the series Michael must find another way to get inside the infirmary, because the way he planned to go could not be used. So surely the prisoners could have used this way to get inside the infirmary. There is no reason why Michael could not have even thought of going this way given he had used it before. It would have been much easier and not as risky going this way rather than through the prison yard and corridors. This could have been Michael's plan to get inside the infirmary from the beginning.

mightymick

Correction: Sara wasn't at the infirmary during the riots, but in sick bay: a different part of the prison complex in a whole other building.

Season 2 generally

Corrected entry: In the episode "Chicago" Sarah tries to kill Kellerman, and when Linc tries to stop Sarah at his right there is a camera in Kellerman's face.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: That's not a camera. Run the scene in slow motion again, that's Kellerman's hand holding a gun.

Rendezvous - S2-E10

Corrected entry: While being chased through the warehouse by Agent Mahone, Michael cuts his left arm. In the hotel room, Sarah consequently cleans and bandages his left arm. However, when Michael returns from the bathroom in the next scene, his right arm is bandaged.

Correction: When you see Michael walk out of the bathroom he is looking in a mirror, this is why his opposite arm is bandaged.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Season 4: Michael discovers that Sarah is still alive, yet in season 3 LJ says that she was killed right in front of him. Pretty big mistake for him to make, even if he was freaked out.

Correction: This was explained in both relevant episodes. LJ never saw Sarah being decapitated, he kept his eyes shut. Michael tells that to Lincoln in season 4 as well. It's quite well covered, really.

Show generally

Corrected entry: The state of Illinois does not use the electric chair for executions. Since capital punishment was reinstated in 1976, all executions have been done by lethal injection.

Twotall

Correction: If the show was trying to be completely accurate, then he wouldn't be put to death at all, because former Governor George Ryan issued a stay of execution that has not been rescinded. Seeing as the execution is the major story line, they didn't change it.

Manhunt - S2-E1

Corrected entry: How did the FBI get the photo of Michael's tattoo? Michael would not have wanted anyone to have a photo of it in case they figured out his plan, and also the only photo they would take for prison would be a mugshot of his head.

Correction: The tattoo artist tells the agents when interviewed that Michael was incredibly specific and designed the whole thing himself, which would have been a difficult task for a tattoo artist, having not worked on any preliminary sketches. This, coupled with the fact that a tattoo artist's portfolio is made of photos of their work, would mean that the artist would most certainly take detailed pictures. This is standard practice for custom work, and anything large or intricate. If Michael had refused, he may have alerted suspicion, and it also may have been an agreement with the artist that they would only do the work if it could go in their portfolio. Plus photographs of tattoos are taken as part of the identification process during various stages of being incarcerated. The FBI could have gotten the photographs from any number of sources within Department of Corrections or Chicago Police.

Flight - S1-E22

Corrected entry: When Michael and the other escapees go through the hole in the cell, Michael pulls the toilet back against the wall as they leave. However when the warden and the guards go to the cell later on, the toilet is off the wall again.

Correction: The guards have already found the hole behind the toilet before they show it to the Warden. There's no reason for them to replace the toilet against the wall.

Allen - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When Veronica is watching the tape of the 'shooting' for the first time, Lincoln flinches when he gun fires but since the tape was doctored and he never actually fired the gun, he shouldn't have flinched when it supposedly went off.

Correction: Regardless of whether he did or didn't fire the gun he saw a dead body in front of him. Perhaps the reason he flinched as someone had already killed the person he was supposed to kill. In any regard it's not a mistake to flinch regardless of the situation.

Cute Poison - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When Michael tells Pope about Haywire and wanting to get rid of him, Pope tells him that unless there is a sign of violence or sexual predation, he can't have Haywire transferred because the prison is too crowded to transfer cellmates due to personality clashes; yet Fernando gets transferred to another cell from Michael's with no problems.

Correction: Pope is meaning that a prisoner can't request that another prisoner be transferred unless there is violence or sexual advances. Sucre was one who requested his transfer making the scenario a little different. While it might have been turned down because of overcrowding this time it was granted.

Show generally

Corrected entry: S03E08: During the bang and burn escape plan, Whistler is hanging onto a rope from the helicopter with Michael clinging onto him; yet in one shot, a helicopter gunman is shot and falls out, falling past the rope and neither Whistler nor Michael are holding onto it. Very brief shot.

Correction: There are two helicopters, one to rescue Whistler & one to take out/distract the guards. The gunman who is shot was trying to kill Michael & the angle he was aiming at would have made it impossible if he was in the same helicopter that was rescuing Whistler.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Ep 5, season 3: In scene where they're asking whose scope it is, just at the end of it you can see the soldier walking away with the scope in his left hand. Seconds later on another shot, you can see Michael picking it up from the ground.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: It is seen that the Prison Guard throws the "scope" on the ground as he walks away.

XIII

Show generally

Corrected entry: Previously the Special Service has denied that Paul Kellerman has been working for them, so obviously he is under a false name. In episode 18, LJ correctly finds out that his real name is Owen Kravecki. Later in series 2 though, when Kellerman meets his sister, she calls him Paul. Wouldn't she call him by his real name, Owen?

Correction: Owen Kravecki is his false name. The same Owen Kravecki that works for the Bison Jerky factory. The secret service only denied that Paul Kellerman had worked for them, and it doesn't mean his real name isn't Paul Kellerman. The secret service doesn't call their agents by false names.

XIII

in the second last episode of season 2 Paul wrote a letter to his sister Kristy Kellerman as shown.

Season 2 generally

Corrected entry: The rewards offered for the Fox River 8 are not proportionate, and do not make sense. I understand that Lincoln has the highest reward, but characters like Abruzzi and T-Bag should have had much higher rewards than the likes of Michael, C-Note, Tweener and Sucre.

Correction: Unless there is evidence to prove otherwise than it is simply the characters' decision. There is no law or rule in the judicial system that states what reward should be set for every individual. For Abruzzi and T-Bag it could be that FBI had more idea where they might headed (Abruzzi wanting to kill Fibernocci and T-Bag obsessed with his former girlfriend) and also because they were more dangerous perhaps more agents were pursuing as compared to the other 4 inmates.

Lummie Premium member

Actually, Michael's reward should also be higher than most (except maybe Lincoln and Abruzzi) since he's the mind behind the escape, so you can almost be sure, he knows where the others are hidden because he planned it. If they are on their own, their plan won't be as brilliant as his, so they would be easier to find. T-Bag shouldn't be that high, you just need to protect the girl.

Mistakes

When Quinn falls in the well, he falls through and subsequently destroys the well cover. At the end of the episode when the Secret Service boys show up, an undamaged cover is lying next to the well, which Kellerman uses to cover it up.

Trivia

The show was filmed in an actual prison (now unused) in Joliet. The death row cell used for Lincoln Burrows is the actual death row cell that held serial killer John Wayne Gacy.
