Pennsylvania 6-5000 - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: When the FBI agent says "We will have to call the president on that one" Brian is in the background with his hands on the edge of the stool. When the camera cuts to Brian saying "I'll call him for you" he is sitting in a different position. (00:18:15)

Pennsylvania 6-5000 - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, there is a side shot of Alf on the phone that has Alf saying "Sammy...shalom" with his right hand on what appears to be a phone book. When the camera cuts to the front angle, not only is Alf's right hand all of a sudden on the phone cord, but the phone book has also changed positions. (00:00:20)

Border Song - S1-E18

Question: How did Alf grow so much zucchini when he insists that he didn't plant any? Did I miss something? Is there a deleted scene, maybe?

Answer: Regarding the "how", zucchini is an easy-to-grow vegetable that proliferates quickly, almost like a weed. My mother and our neighbours used to grow it, resulting in an over-abundance that was sometimes difficult to give away.

raywest

Answer: In addition to Raywest's comment, Alf must have planted some zucchini, unless it originated from a neighbouring property. He is probably joking when he says that he didn't plant any, because he knows the family is mildly annoyed.
