New this month Revealing mistake: When an Atraxi ship appears over the village green, there's a shot where the Doctor, Amy and Rory turn to look at it, and they're standing in bright sunshine with their shadows visible - despite the fact that the Atraxi have surrounded the planet with a forcefield that dims sunlight, so those shadows shouldn't be possible.
New this month Continuity mistake: After Prisoner Zero is taken away, when Rory asks the Doctor if everything is back to normal, the Doctor is holding Rory's phone in his right hand while dialing a number. In the shot immediately after, focusing on Rory, where the Doctor walks by him and lightly smacks him on the shoulder, the phone is suddenly in the Doctor's left hand.
New this month Continuity mistake: After the Doctor steps through the hologram of his past selves and introduces himself to the Atraxi, in a wide shot, there's a red jacket lying on the ground to the left of Rory. In a close-up of Amy and Rory immediately following, the jacket has suddenly leaped into Rory's arms, to join the other clothes he's holding. When the Atraxi flies away, the red jacket is back on the ground again.
New this month Continuity mistake: After the Doctor spits out some yogurt that Amelia gave him and wipes off his mouth, there's still some yogurt on his face and chin. Immediately afterwards, he involuntarily jerks around a bit due to regeneration sickness, and the yogurt is gone.
New this month Continuity mistake: At one point while the Doctor is explaining to Amelia what the crack is, there's a shot where he has his hands on the wall examining the crack as he leans over Amelia's desk, then the camera cuts to a shot of Amelia where the Doctor is standing upright with his hands not touching the wall at all.
Other mistake: When the Doctor tells the Atraxi "Oh, you're not the first lot to have come here, there have been so many," one of the monsters shown from their scan of Earth is a group of Ood. Even if in one of their uprisings they attacked the Earth, it would have been in the far future. The Doctor has had no encounters with them on Earth, and he knows them to be peaceful, so why would they be amongst the aliens who have threatened the planet? The only Ood who has been to Earth at this point is Ood Sigma, and he didn't come to attack. In addition, a group of Hath is also shown. These aliens have never been seen on Earth at all.
Revealing mistake: When the Doctor travels back in time after being shot by the stone Dalek, falls down the stairs and tells himself that he has 12 minutes to live we never see either of the 2 Doctors' faces onscreen at the same time, and if you look at the hair on the Doctor that's dying it is completely different to Matt Smith's. That's because it is Gordon Seed, Matt Smith's stunt double.
Factual error: When the Doctor spots Rory taking a photo of Prisoner Zero, we're shown a brief close-up of Rory's hospital identity badge. The date of issue is given as "30/11/1990". The main body of the episode is set in 2008, two years before Rory and Amy's wedding in 2010. It's further established in the episode that Rory and Amy played together as children after her first meeting with the Doctor in 1996, with Rory observing that Amy made him dress up as the Raggedy Doctor. Rory could not possibly have worked for the hospital for eighteen years at the time of the episode.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when the Doctor takes Amy to planet One, he holds out his hand for Amy to take hold of when they're about to leave the TARDIS. When you see her from the back, Amy lifts her hand wearing her red fingerless gloves. But when it switches shot and faces Amy from the front, she takes the Doctor's hand wearing no gloves. When she steps out of the TARDIS, her gloves are on again.
Continuity mistake: When the Doctor stands between Restac and his fleeing companions, using his sonic screwdriver to disable the Silurians' weapons, as the camera angle changes, the Doctor's grip on the screwdriver switches back and forth between pointing it at the lizards and holding it straight up and down, á la the Neuralizer from Men in Black.
Continuity mistake: When River shows Amy and the Doctor the video of the Angel, next to the Doctor on the ceiling is a bar with two cloth handles, one on each end. The Doctor accidentally rips off the handle closest to him and the viewscreen. A minute later when Amy is alone and we are looking at the Angel video, this handle is back up. It's gone again in subsequent shots.
Continuity mistake: When River is talking to the Roman commander after disintegrating a piece of furniture with her pistol, she is shown raising her fingers from the pistol's grip in a shot facing the commander. However, in all following shots facing her, her fingers are still lowered.
Continuity mistake: Near the end, when the Doctor is explaining to Amy that she will forget Rory when the crack in time is finished eating him because he's part of her personal timeline, and he has his hands on her temples, Amy's hair is covering her ears in some shots, but not others.
Continuity mistake: During the scene on the hospital roof, when the Doctor is telling off the Atraxi while simultaneously choosing a tie out of several he stole from the locker room, the number of ties draped around his shoulders and the position of his hands changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the Doctor and Amy are in the museum looking at the Home Box, after they steal it, they run to and enter the TARDIS, which is parked at the end of the hall by the last glass case. However, in the first shots of them in the museum, the camera was pointed directly at that spot, and the TARDIS wasn't there.

Plot hole: When the Doctor realises that something is coming up from below ground, he tells Nasreen and Tony that at the speed the three transports are coming, the underground arrivals will reach the surface in 12 minutes. The rushed preparations that ensue, including hurrying from the drill hall to the old church and setting up a surveillance network outside, couldn't have taken less than 12 minutes to set up, especially given that they also had to: inform the others trapped inside the shield (Rory, Ambrose and Elliot), inform Rory and Ambrose that their significant others (Amy and Mo) were missing, run between the old church and the block of houses and gather supplies. And, lest we forget, there's also Rory and the Doctor arguing about what happened to Amy and Ambrose's initial skepticism as to what is occurring.
Factual error: When the Doctor, Amy and Rory are on the roof and the Doctor says "The question for now is total event collapse means that every star in the universe never happened", the Gherkin can be seen in the background. However, the Gherkin wasn't built until 2003, whereas this episode takes place in 1996.
Revealing mistake: In the museum after the Doctor, Amy, young Amy and Rory escape the Stone Dalek, the Doctor uses the Vortex Manipulator to go back in time to tell Rory in 102 AD to let him out of the Pandorica. The third time he goes back, Amy moves despite being dead.
