Continuity mistake: When the young swimmer is about to dive, you get a close-up of both her heels going over the edge. Then, it shows a further shot with only one heel over the edge. Later in the same scene, the girl is underwater and you see her hair flowing around her face. When she lifts her head out of the water, her hair is tied up.
Continuity mistake: Right after House has given the speech he and Wilson step outside and House removes his tie. After this his shirt collar changes between almost every shot, from being tucked in his jacket to being on the outside of it.
Character mistake: In this episode we learn that Chase is 26 years old. His parents were divorced when he was 15, and this was stated as being 15 years ago, which would make him 30, not 26.
Deliberate mistake: When a patient who is given CPR is seen in the shot, the person giving the CPR does so with bent arms (the correct way to do it is with straight arms). This is deliberate, as straight-arm CPR puts in an amount of strength that frequently breaks ribs. Many films do CPR with bent arms rather than straight to avoid harming the actor.
Continuity mistake: About 5 minutes in, when Foreman struggles with opening the coffee package, House rips the entire top of the package off with his teeth. In the following shots, you can see that the coffee package merely has a corner ripped off.
Factual error: There are several episodes where doctors continue to defibrillate a patient even after s/he flatlines. A flatline (asystole, where there is no electrical activity in the heart) cannot be corrected by defibrillation, which stops a heart that's in an abnormal rhythm and gives it a chance to start in a normal one (the heart has already stopped when there is a flatline).
Continuity mistake: Max's mom, without her glasses, runs out to call the nurse after Max starts seizing. Her glasses appear when she re-enters the room. (00:28:20)
Audio problem: Amber calls House and he hangs up on her. Her phone makes a beeping sound as she presses the button. Her phone is an I-phone, which doesn't beep like that.
Audio problem: When Foreman comes to inform the patients parents that the surgery to relieve inter-cranial pressure was successful, the mother asks "What happened? Did she hit her head at a meet or...?" The coach's audio responds with, "No, nothing like that," but the words don't correspond to his mouth movements. (00:31:00)
Factual error: The whole episode is caused by medications being mistaken for one another. But the reason why is actually impossible. The patient states that the pills he took (in error due to a switch) had no letter or marking on them. With few exceptions - none of which apply to the medication the patient took - the US FDA law states that all solid medications must have a letter and/or number on each pill which allows them to be identified. No pharmacist would ever give out blank pills.
Factual error: House diagnoses contagious ecthyma in a patient exposed to a donkey. This zoonosis is however NOT transmitted by donkeys. "Contagious ecthyma virus causes papillomatous lesions on lips and mouth, and sometimes on the interdigital areas of primarily young sheep and goats. The hosts of contagious ecthyma virus are sheep, goats, alpacas, chamois, Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep, Doll sheep, steenbok, wild thar, dog, camel, reindeer, musk ox, and man." https://doi.org/10.1016/B978-0-12-524180-9.50039-X. (00:27:07 - 00:27:40)
Character mistake: When discussing plasmapheresis, Foreman incorrectly classifies white cells as the heaviest (most dense). The correct order is red cells white cells, platelets, plasma. (00:25:06)
Other mistake: Amber states that Chase has a cat, even though in several other episodes Chase says he doesn't have a cat and wouldn't let Cameron get one because he hates cats. (00:16:10)
Audio problem: Just after House has diagnosed the nun, one of them comes out to thank him. She says, "When I break my leg..." but her lips don't move.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the episode, when Cuddy presents the case to House, she has her cell phone in her left hand when handing him the file. She doesn't have it in her hand when she slides the file closer to him. When the camera faces her, you can see her arms are bent up while talking to him, and see the phone. When the camera is facing House, Cuddy's arms are hanging down by her sides, no phone. (00:03:05)
Continuity mistake: At the start, Cuddy's arms are constantly changing position depending on the camera shot. (00:01:00)
Continuity mistake: House sits down and helps himself to Wilson's lunch. He pulls a fork out of his pocket. In the next shot, he's still fiddling with his jacket pocket, next shot, he's got the fork there again. (00:11:35)
Continuity mistake: When House trips before entering his office, Taub is holding the patient's x-ray film. It is either over the folder or under it in different shots. (00:11:05)
Continuity mistake: Becca, the pregnant woman, says that Cuddy must be mad at her for having been a drug addict and possibly causing her baby's lungs to be underdeveloped. While she's talking, her right hand is rubbing her belly. In the close up, the hem of her hospital gown just barely reaches the middle of her tummy. In the immediate next shot, it is much further to the right side. (00:21:20)
Answer: She would have No Reason to know it belonged to the CIA. If she did know he went off in the helicopter, all she would know is that it wasn't an ambulance helicopter.
