Thunderbirds mistake picture

Security Hazard - S1-E26

Continuity mistake: When the door of Pod 1 opens after Jeff realises there is a saboteur on board, we see three vehicles in the pod and beside the Monobrake there is a red unit which has a windshield on it. However, when we see Chip appearing in the next shot, the windshield has gone.

Terror in New York City - S1-E4

Character mistake: When Jeff is on the phone to Washington, thanking them for arranging the Sentinel to pick up Thunderbird 4 and take it to New York, the man in Washington replies, "That's the least we can do, Mr Tracy." So at least one person knows that Jeff is involved with International Rescue. This betrays the secrecy of the organisation that Jeff himself demands.

Martian Invasion - S1-E24

Continuity mistake: When we see The Hood's plane crashed into the General's mansion in a view from Thunderbird 1's cockpit window, there is a red car parked near the mansion covered in dust. But after Scott says that the stolen film could not have survived that smash, we cut back to the mansion and the dust on the red car has disappeared.

Vault of Death - S1-E13

Character mistake: The situation in this episode is that a clerk, Lambert, is trapped inside a bank vault that is having the air removed. When IR arrives they focus all of their efforts on forcing a man-sized entrance before the air runs out, but don't consider first making a small hole to allow air in, thus giving them plenty of time to create an entrance afterwards.

Martian Invasion - S1-E24

Character mistake: The end of this episode concerns IR chasing down a copy of the photos the Hood taken of the Thunderbird vehicles. However, they show no concern for being photographed in person, as they're lounging around in casual clothes in the end, on an active film set with cameras everywhere, and no camera detector on their persons.

The Mighty Atom - S1-E14

Factual error: The reactor controllers in both plants, and Brains, claim that cutting off the seawater intake would resolve the runaway reactor, and help bring it under control. In fact the opposite is the case - the plant's purpose is to purify and desalinate seawater by boiling, so processing more of it would soak up the excess heat the reaction is producing. Cutting off the intake would prevent adequate cooling, allowing the heat to build up and damage the plant further. We know the seawater isn't somehow used for fuel, because we see Scott and Virgil operating fuel rods in the reactor.

30 Minutes After Noon - S1-E7

Revealing mistake: When the Plutonium store doors are blown off by the Jet-Air Blaster on the Laser Cutter Vehicle, you can see a length of string pulling the doors off from the inside.

Trapped in the Sky - S1-E1

Audio problem: When Scott and Lady Penelope are communicating with each other via mobile control, the timing on the lip sync between the two characters during the split screen effect is completely out of place.

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Audio problem: When Jeff says "Scott, Alan, Tin-Tin" after hearing from the TV Reporter that all hope is fading for Thunderbird 3, the words don't match his lips.

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When we see Tin-Tin passed out on the table when Thunderbird 3 is on a collision course with the Sun, the style of writing of the "Safety Beam" and "On" and "Off" on the control panel change between shots.

Sun Probe - S1-E11

Continuity mistake: When Solarnaut Asher thinks he hears the radio in Sun Probe, we cut to a picture of a radio and we hear Alan's voice saying "Come in, Solar Module, this is International Rescue." However, the radio you see is Thunderbird 3's and not Sun Probe's.

Edge of Impact - S1-E5

Visible crew/equipment: After Central Control announces the countdown for Red Arrow project is now operating, when it cuts to the tower the order is given to "begin photographic alert procedure," and in the next shot a human finger (with a long polished fingernail) is visible behind the seated male marionette, as he leans forward. Super Grover

Day of Disaster - S1-E6

Continuity mistake: After Lady Penelope rescues Brains from the psychiatrist's office, when she holds out her communications compact to message Scott it's in her left hand, but in the closeup it's in her right hand and the color of her sleeve also changes. (00:45:50)

Super Grover

The Duchess Assignment - S1-E21

Continuity mistake: After the Duchess has been rescued by "those romantic young men from International Rescue," when the Duchess removes the canvas from her umbrella, in the closeup (with human hands) she's wearing a pink button-down, but in all other shots there are no buttons whatsoever. (00:45:20)

Super Grover

Martian Invasion - S1-E24

Continuity mistake: After Scott realises that someone has tampered with TB1's camera detector, when it cuts to the movie set's camera, Agent 79's (the Hood) disguise eyeglasses are hanging beside the mask, but in the next shot the eyeglasses have vanished. (00:29:50)

Super Grover

Lord Parker's 'Oliday - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: When the Professor goes up to check on the solar reflector tower it collapses, and as it falls down the mountain the reflector's triangular center breaks off, but in the following shots it's perfectly intact for the episode's plot. (00:16:05)

Super Grover

Terror in New York City - S1-E4

Trivia: When Thunderbird 1 touches down to land in New York City, look at the centre of the screen and you can see a brown building with a giant Swastika on it.
