Continuity mistake: When we first see Fran lying on the beach, she is the only one in sight, but when she sees Maxwell on the beach he is not too far from her, despite not having been in the earlier shot.
Continuity mistake: When Fran is discussing why she never studied tennis she is eating a celery stick and using her right hand but when we see her in the next shot she is eating a carrot stick and using her left hand.
Visible crew/equipment: The boom mic can be seen reflected in the door when Fran and Maxwell are standing by the door looking at the limo.
Continuity mistake: When Niles is putting the flowers in the vase, there are 3 sitting on the table, he goes over to the door and when he comes back they are now facing a different direction. Niles then puts two of the flowers in the vase, he picks up the third one but puts it back on the table. The next time we see the table the flower has disappeared then reappears in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene Fran puts a pad of paper and a pencil on the counter. The pencil is vertical, the next shot the pencil is horizontal, the last time it is seen it is vertical again.
Continuity mistake: When Fran is picking up the living room she is putting things in a basket. She throws something at Maxwell and when the shot changes the stuff in the basket changes.
Continuity mistake: When Maxwell comes home from his date the the amount the closet door is open changes a couple of times.
Continuity mistake: When Fran is talking to Brighton in his room, Brighton puts his baseball glove on his bed near the edge. Later it is seen in the middle, then when he goes and lies on his bed it is back near the edge.
Continuity mistake: Fran puts the magazine on the chair and sits down on part of it. The next time we can see the magazine she is no longer sitting on it, and it is now facing the opposite direction.
Pilot (a.k.a. The Nanny) - S1-E1
Continuity mistake: After Niles walks into Maxwell's office, C.C. puts her hands on the chair Maxwell is sitting on. When Maxwell says "Yes Niles what is it?" the shot changes and C.C.'s hands are no longer on the chair.
I Don't Remember Mama - S1-E22
Continuity mistake: The tape reel case that Fran is writing on changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: After Fran has hold the kids she is getting married C.C. is holding a glass with one hand - the shot changes and she is now holding it by two.
Continuity mistake: In the bridal shop when Danny proposes to her there is a mannequin in the background for most of the scene. A wig is in its hands but for a couple of shots the wig is on the head.
Continuity mistake: After all the actors have left Fran and Maxwell start to leave the room Fran is holding a clipboard by the side, in the middle. When they go into the hallway she is now holding it by the bottom.
Continuity mistake: In the kitchen at the beginning when they are sitting at the table Fran says "Gracie when do you come up with these things." There is a note pad with a pencil on it in front of Grace. The shot changes and Fran is holding the pencil - the next shot Grace is now holding it.
Sunday in the Park with Fran - S1-E18
Continuity mistake: When Fran is sitting at the table with Grace when C.C. is on the phone, the coloring book in front of Grace is open. Fran goes to pick it up, the shot changes, and Fran has already picked it up.
Sunday in the Park with Fran - S1-E18
Continuity mistake: When C.C. is trying to get Grace to play with the son of the Broadway critic she is coloring with a green crayon. Near the end of the scene it is suddenly a red one, and the paper she is coloring on is all red with no green so she could not have changed colors.
The Nanny Behind the Man - S2-E18
Revealing mistake: When C.C tells Niles "Stay on your toes" he supposedly steps on her toes but it is clear that he does not get anywhere near her toes before she cries out in pain.
Continuity mistake: When Fran's in the kitchen making an ice cream sundae she tops it with a lot of whip cream, but after Fran pulls a tissue out of Gracie's shirt, when she and Maxwell sit down all of the whip cream suddenly vanishes, but then it reappears.
The Pre-nup - S5-E20
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Val and Fran are in the kitchen, Fran jiggles her tea bag, the removes it and places it on the napkin beside her. Brighton enters and after a brief conversation Fran returns to the table carrying cream and sugar. She then jiggles and removes the teabag from her cup again. (00:07:00)
Suggested correction: Fran is in the kitchen with her mother, not Val.
