Amok Time - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: When Kirk confronts Spock in his quarters, Kirk asks if it's something only his planet can do for him, then Kirk uses his left hand to grab hold of Spock's arm as he drops the stylus, but in the closeup it's Kirk's right hand holding Spock's arm up, and that stylus is also back in Spock's raised hand. Amok Time - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: Spock is standing in the background with his back to the wall and his hands behind him. A few seconds later, the shot changes to him deep in the "Plak Tow", with his left shoulder touching the wall and with his hands intertwined. The next shot has him standing with his back against the wall again, hands behind his back again. The scene would have flowed nicely if they hadn't inserted the "Plak Tow" shot in between. That two second clip had been used already a few minutes earlier. (00:33:03)

Amok Time - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: In the middle of the episode Spock goes to Plack Tao to meditate. We see a shot of him and then we see some other people. At this moment look directly behind all of them and you will see Spock waiting for his next shot.

Amok Time - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: When Spock and Captain Kirk are fighting with the lirpa, watch Kirk closely after he has been slashed by Spock and his shirt ripped. Both the ripped shirt and scar appear and disappear throughout the rest of the fight.

Amok Time - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: Just before T'Pring calls for the challenge, there's a wide shot of her going toward the gong. Then they cut to a closeup and she is standing beside Stonn, and then she starts moving toward the gong again.

Suggested correction: Spock explains that it is deeply personal and is never talked about with other worlders. Even McCoy didn't know about it.

Spock: Live long and prosper.

Trivia: Gene Roddenberry created the transporter as an easier (and cheaper) way of getting Enterprise crew members onto a planet's surface, rather than landing the ship on the planet.

I, Mudd - S2-E8

Question: When Kirk and crew neutralized all the androids on the planet, what happened to the androids on the Enterprise running the ship?

Answer: After causing Norman to overload, all of the other androids shut down. The same could be said for the androids on the Enterprise.

Answer: If all the humans beamed down and only Androids were on the ship as Larry Mudd said then how did they get back aboard the Enterprise if all the robots were shut down.
