You Wish ('Shanghaied') / Gary Takes A Bath - S2-E11
Corrected entry: In the beginning when SpongeBob pours the Kelpo cereal he pours it over his glass of orange juice, plate of toast, and his bowl. When he brushes the cereal away the plate, the glass, and the bowl all disappear.
The Bully / Just One Bite - S2-E17
Corrected entry: In "Just One Bite" Squidward tell Spongebob that he has never tasted a Krabby patty. However in a previous episode "Your Shoe's Untied", Spongebob fires numerous Krabby Patties at him as he keeps tripping over his shoelaces and Squidward eats them all.
Correction: Is has been proven several times that the order that the episodes are released in isn't the chronological order of Spongebob's life. For example, Squidward locked himself in the freezer in SB-129 (Season 1) for thousands of years without interruption, but in the health inspector episode (Season 3), Spongebob goes into the freezer and Squidward isn't there. We can assume that this episode happened in Squidward's life before "Your Shoe's Untied".
Sailor Mouth / Artist Unknown - S2-E15
Corrected entry: When Squidward gets Spongebob back in Artist Unknown he says, "Let's start with the circle again," and makes a perfect circle. Spongebob circles about 4 or 5 times and only one circle comes out.
Correction: Spongebob simply retraced the circle 4 or 5 times.
Survival of the Idiots / Dumped - S2-E8
Corrected entry: In "Survival of the idiots", which is episode 8 in season 2, SpongeBob and Patrick don't know what snow is. But in episode 5 of season 2, "Christmas Who?", it snowed and they played in it.
Correction: Number one, Spongebob and Patrick are idiots. Number two, the episodes have been proven to not appear in chronological order. For example, the freezer is empty in "Health Inspector" yet Squidward was frozen in it 2 seasons earlier.
The Bully / Just One Bite - S2-E17
Corrected entry: In "the bully," at the beginning, Spongbob says, "the test pencil should go next to the essay pencil and the essay pencil should be turned side ways" but after Flats had sat down, and Spongebob gets afraid of him, it cuts to Mrs. Puff and when it cuts back to Spongebob, the pencils are in a completely different order.
Correction: Remember, SpongeBob is horribly paranoid on where the pencils should go. He simply changed them again while he was out of shot.
Corrected entry: Around the middle of the Wormy episode, Squidward and Mr. Krabs are believed to be eaten by the "monster" according to Spongebob and Patrick. We all know they obviously weren't eaten, so where were they the rest of the episode?
Correction: They simply were not featured in the remainder of the episode. It's not a mistake.
Something Smells / Bossy Boots - S2-E1
Corrected entry: In the episode "Something Smells," Spongebob spends his Sunday saying hi to everyone. The second person he says hi to is a mailman. What would a mailman be doing there on Sunday?
Correction: You can't presume to be an authority on Bikini Bottom's system of mail, specifically when mail can or can't be delivered or picked up in this bizarre fictional world. Or if the mailman is simply wearing it off work.
Survival of the Idiots / Dumped - S2-E8
Corrected entry: At the end of the episode, when it is spring, Spongebob and Patrick are completely fine, despite there being no water or snow.
Correction: Spongebob and Patrick are only shown briefly and a number of issues are not known either. For starters they struggle in Sandy's treedome without water but can survive a good period of time. Additionally Sandy is aware of this so might be giving them water, wet herself while they are draped around her etc. Additionally the conditions of the treedome would vary with the seasons. Being it was the beginning of spring it wouldn't likely be quite as hot meaning they would survive a lot longer than say in Summer.
Survival of the Idiots / Dumped - S2-E8
Corrected entry: Sandy is quite fat throughout the episode. But at the end, she is thin again, even though a minute has passed since she was fat.
Correction: It was part of the bigger joke. A few moments before Sandy came out they (Spongebob and Patrick) were talking about now being prepared to face the cold harsh winter. All of a sudden it goes from freezing cold to Spring in a split second. Everything including Sandy has changed within those moments.
Pre-Hibernation Week / Life of Crime - S2-E13
Corrected entry: In "Pre-Hibernation Week" when Spongebob throws himself at Sandy's feet he rips his nose off, but in the next shot it's back.
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III / Squirrel Jokes - S2-E4
Corrected entry: In "Mermaid Man And Barnicle Boy 3" when Man-Ray puts on that metal arm, he puts a bomb thing on top of it. But when Spongebob and Patrick use the orb of confusion on themselves and Man-Ray points to the city right after Spongebob and Patrick crash the Invisible Boatmobile, the bomb thing is not on the metal hand anymore.
Dying For Pie / Imitation Krabs - S2-E6
Corrected entry: SpongeBob marks the same item in his list twice when he does everything in his list with Squidward.
Correction: This is a joke to show how ridiculous the things on the list are. It is just one of the random things thrown in as a joke to see if you are paying attention.
Grandma's Kisses / Squidville - S2-E9
Corrected entry: In Grandma's kisses, Patrick is taking a nap. Then Spongebob has a fit about wishing he could be a baby again. But through the fit, Patrick doesn't appear for the rest of the episode. There is even a shot of the couch Patrick was sleeping on, empty.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Patrick and Spongebob are in the treedome and are hiding from wormy the "Monster," they jump into a barrel. If you look at Spongebob and Patrick outside of the barrel, you can see that there is no way they both could fit inside it and still have all of the space that is shown.
Correction: In this episode Patrick and Spongebob are also in an underwater glass sphere which has grass, a tree, and a phone made out of wood and acorns. The entire Spongebob series requires suspension of disbelief through every episode.
The Secret Box / Band Geeks - S2-E14
Corrected entry: On day one of band training, Patrick kicks Sandy and she takes him outside, and puts his neck in a trombone. It slides up then slides down. When it slides down, It seems to just disappear into the other part.
Correction: It was a joke because when the trombone stick went up and then went down and some parts disappear in the trombone Patrick went and looked down and might of thought,''How did it do that?''
The Secret Box / Band Geeks - S2-E14
Corrected entry: When Squidward and his band start walking into the bubble, Squidward's conductor outfit suddenly appears on his body.
Correction: You can clearly see Squidward rip his shirt off, his conductor outfit was under his shirt.
Pressure / The Smoking Peanut - S2-E12
Corrected entry: When SpongeBob gets inside his house after talking to Patrick the police come into SpongeBob's house. If you look at the furniture in the background throughout the scene you can see that the furniture changes places all the time.
Correction: The furniture does not change, it stays in the same spot the whole time.
Dying For Pie / Imitation Krabs - S2-E6
Corrected entry: If Spongebob says the sweater he made for Squidward was made of eyelashes, then how come his eyebrows are plucked out in the shot? Plus, Spongebob never even had eyebrows of that manner before this episode.
Correction: Spongebob made him a full sized sweater, no one in the world has that many eyelashes so the eyebrows were likely the next best thing. As it was meant to be a personal gift this might have been his only option. As for not seeing the eyebrows before, it's a visual joke that is done numerous times in the show. In one episode Patrick for a short scene had a much larger stomach and a lot more underarm hair and then all of sudden it goes back to normal.
Something Smells / Bossy Boots - S2-E1
Corrected entry: In "Bossy Boots", Spongebob says "Salad" like they haven't served salads at the Krusty Krab before. But in "Culture Shock" Mr. Krabs had a free salad bar.
Correction: Mistake Spongebob made. Can easily pass as Spongebob is not the brightest fish in the sea.
Your Shoe's Untied / Squid's Day Off - S2-E2
Corrected entry: In Your Shoe's Untied, in every shot of SpongeBob grilling, the grill is on the wrong side, and the window that SpongeBob hands the food to Squidward through is missing.
Correction: The grill was on the same side the entire time we see it in that episode. If it was on another side in a different episode it doesn't count because they could have moved it. The window Spongebob hands the food to Squidward is there, that's how Spongebob managed to throw so many krabby patties in his mouth in that episode.
Correction: That was the point of the scene, that, along with the cereal, he swept the dishes away. In fact, in one shot you can see the cereal bowl being flung away.
