Corrected entry: In the episode "Help Wanted" when Spongebob makes Krabby Patties for the anchovies, Spongebob chops lettuce, patties, and onions for some of the buns and the buns don't have patties, tomatoes, or cheese on them. When he's done dancing, when you look at the patty buns there is no onion, but there is a patty and lettuce. Also in later episodes, the way he made those patties isn't the way he makes them now. And the way he makes them now has tomatoes and cheese on them. But this could probably be wrong due to it being a pilot episode.
Corrected entry: Spongebob says "I'll get you back in that club, and I know just how to do it". He begins walking toward Squidward's dresser and says,"Everything we need is in this drawer". Spongebob retrieves a sock from Squidward's dresser, although he should not have known that Squidward kept his socks in that specific drawer anyway.throwawayaccount
Corrected entry: In "Just One Bite" Squidward tell Spongebob that he has never tasted a Krabby patty. However in a previous episode "Your Shoe's Untied", Spongebob fires numerous Krabby Patties at him as he keeps tripping over his shoelaces and Squidward eats them all.Lummie
Corrected entry: In the episode when Spongebob and Patrick decide to make a Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy movie, Patrick states at one point that he had the cap on the lens of the camera the whole time. However, during the entire scene before he says this, you can easily see Patrick's camera, and the cap isn't on the camera.
Corrected entry: There are times when Spongebob is right handed and other times when he's left handed. For instance, in the episode where he has to wear round pants, he fills out the Krusty Krab application with his right hand, but as he's taking notes from Squidward he's using his right hand.
Corrected entry: When Patrick tells SpongeBob how to drive with the walkie-talkie, and SpongeBob starts driving with his help, you can see that in the track there's a wall of red bricks, that he must not crash. In order for not to crash it, SpongeBob must continue the road, turn left, turn right and turn right again. However, Patrick just says to continue the road, turn left and turn right. He didn't say about turning right again, and SpongeBob must have turned right to continue in the road. However, SpongeBob does continue in the road.
Corrected entry: In "Culture Shock," at the beginning of the talent show, Squidward says, "Welcome to the first annual Talent Show," which means they would have one once a year. However, at the end of the episode, Mr. Krabs says something like, "I can't wait till next week's show," meaning they would have one once a week.
Corrected entry: In "Squilliam Returns", when Spongebob erases everything from his mind, (except fine dining and breathing) his brain is shown shredding papers. When his brain shreds memory, one paper shredded is entitled "Spice Garden Tips". Later when Squilliam arrives, Spongebob serves him the "Krabby Newburg" which he says, "contains herbs from our garden". But if Spongebob forgot his "Spice Garden Tips", he would not be able to prepare that dish.
Corrected entry: This occurs in many episodes. Sometimes, Spongebob will walk into the Krusty Krab to start the work day and customers already have food. Squidward and Mr. Krabs have both been proven to be bad chefs, so it couldn't have come from them. Some examples: it occurs in "Sailor Mouth", "Where's Gary", and "Pressure".
Corrected entry: In "the bully," at the beginning, Spongbob says, "the test pencil should go next to the essay pencil and the essay pencil should be turned side ways" but after Flats had sat down, and Spongebob gets afraid of him, it cuts to Mrs. Puff and when it cuts back to Spongebob, the pencils are in a completely different order.
Corrected entry: Why is every single person in Bikini Bottom wide awake and living their normal lives in the dead of night? It's way past midnight and people are walking their pets and Mrs. Puff is in her school, grading papers. No school would be open that late.Brad
Corrected entry: In "Mermaid Man And Barnicle Boy V", the Krusty Krab has a dark side, but it is not there when there is a HUMUNGUS line at the Krusty Krab at the beginning of that episode.logan crews
Corrected entry: In "Graveyard Shift," when Squidward says to that guy they think is the hash-slinging slasher, "If that was you on the phone and you on the bus, then who was flickering the lights?" look at the "order here" sign. It says "order hear" instead of "order here."logan crews
Corrected entry: In "Mermaid Man And Barnicle Boy 3" when Man-Ray puts on that metal arm, he puts a bomb thing on top of it. But when Spongebob and Patrick use the orb of confusion on themselves and Man-Ray points to the city right after Spongebob and Patrick crash the Invisible Boatmobile, the bomb thing is not on the metal hand anymore.logan crews
Corrected entry: In the episode "Pressure," Spongebob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward go up to land and they can breathe air. But in other episodes like "Tea at the Treedome," Spongebob can't breathe air in the dome, or like "Big Pink Loser," where Patrick says, "Island, I got an award," but he can't breathe air for even a few seconds.logan crews
Corrected entry: In the episode 3-21 "Pranks A Lot", SpongeBob asks what can he buy with 1 dollar, and the salesman gives him and invisible spray, that it's worth exactly 1 dollar. As we know, that's all the money that SpongeBob has, but when he pays the dollar for the spray, he gives more than 1 dollar.
Corrected entry: How can there only be the three race contestants (Squidward, Spongebob, and Patrick)? Squidward surely wouldn't have spent his hard earned money just to con the other two into joining a race, so there should be more snails in the race. If Spongebob and Patrick had decided they didn't care about the race, would Squidward's snail have won by default, since there were no other racers?Danelle Williams
Corrected entry: In Grandma's kisses, Patrick is taking a nap. Then Spongebob has a fit about wishing he could be a baby again. But through the fit, Patrick doesn't appear for the rest of the episode. There is even a shot of the couch Patrick was sleeping on, empty.
Corrected entry: At certain points at the end of "Home Sweet Pineapple," Squidward is drawn differently than he is in any other episode. His forehead is bigger, his torso is smaller and his legs are ridiculously long. This is most noticeable when he says, "Today SpongeBob moves. I can't believe it's really happening" and when he is celebrating and doing backflips right before SpongeBob's house comes back.Movie_Freak 1
Corrected entry: On the day that SpongeBob is supposed to be moving in with his parents, a clam can be heard cockle doodle doo-ing, and Squidward is seen getting out of bed and changing out of his PJ's, indicating that it is morning. However, when SpongeBob's parents pull up to take him away, his Dad says, "Hurry hurry, son. Your mom has dinner waiting."Movie_Freak 1
Corrected entry: In the scene where Patrick and Spongebob are in the treedome and are hiding from wormy the "Monster," they jump into a barrel. If you look at Spongebob and Patrick outside of the barrel, you can see that there is no way they both could fit inside it and still have all of the space that is shown.
Corrected entry: At the end, Patchy the Pirate pushes the wrong button on the remote, and the tape starts shooting out at him. One of the next shots shows him squirming around in the tape, and then he rolls over onto his stomach. He kicks his legs in the air, and both of his feet are visible, but earlier in the episode, when he was watching the lost episode, one of his legs ended at the knee.
Corrected entry: In the episode "Missing Identity", SpongeBob says that he has never eaten Gary's food (that's why he tastes it). However, in "I was a teenage Gary", an episode that took place before this one, SpongeBob does taste Gary's food, when he's mutating. This not only happens in this episode, it happens in many. In the episode "Opposite day", we also see him eating Gary's food, saying "Meow".
Corrected entry: Spongebob can be hurt despite his spongeness. He has had his legs shoved through the top of his body after sand surfing with Sandy. He got a black eye from Patrick right before getting into the Salty Spitoon. He broke his butt. Sandy constantly beats him up in karate. He has fallen down stairs, rocks and cliffs and says, "Ow". So why can't Flats kick Spongebob's butt?Mark English
Corrected entry: In the episode 3-20, "Krabby Land / The Camping Episode", in "Krabby Land": SpongeBob arrives at the Krusty Krab, dressed like a flower, saying about the spring meaning, and so on. Later, when SpongeBob and Krabs know that there's a new park for children, Krabs says he has an idea and goes away. The next scene shows SpongeBob saying something like this, "What could happen with Mr. Krabs yesterday when he said.?". He says "yesterday", meaning that the scene with Mr. Krabs and the Krusty Krab was the day before. At the end of the episode, SpongeBob says "I thought I knew the spring meaning, but that was long ago.". Squidward says "Wasn't that this morning?.". But remember, that was the day before, when SpongeBob arrives saying about the spring meaning dressed like a flower, not that day.
Corrected entry: When Spongebob absorbs the water to save Patrick, and then throws it, you see that the lake has a large bottom. So, Patrick really could drown there. But later Larry arrives, and as he is walking in the lake, you see that the bottom of the lake is almost nothing.
Corrected entry: In "I'm Your Biggest Fanatic", Spongebob opens up his 'trunk' for Kevin and takes out the nets and jars. The arms that take out the nets are yellow, obviously Spongebob's arms, but the angle the arms come in from are impossible for Spongebob to realistically manage.
Corrected entry: When SpongeBob is at the movie theater, look at the blue fish with brown pants.(the one who is to the left of Patrick.) That fish is Fred. (he is the one who is always saying "My leg.") Fred is supposed to be dark green, but here he is light blue.
Corrected entry: When Spongebob is about to throw the anchor he turns to his right and blows into one of his inflatable arms and both arms blow up.tylerasktaylorsteckleralexdenny
Corrected entry: When Mermaid Man "marries" SpongeBob, he goes rolling to his house. A shot that is far from SpongeBob's house (before SpongeBob gets there) shows that nobody is at SpongeBob's door. However, when SpongeBob gets to his door, suddenly Patrick is there.
Corrected entry: On "Wet Painters," SpongeBob and Patrick are trying to solve how to clean paint from Mr. Krabs' dollar. SpongeBob is trying to clean the paint off with a big baseball bat. Patrick is holding the dollar and SpongeBob is hitting him. Patrick is in many bandages. In the next shot, they go to a computer and Patrick's bandages have disappeared.
Corrected entry: When SpongeBob is going to the fridge at the outside of the Krusty Krab, when it's raining, to hide the dead man there, you can see that the sign of the Krusty Krab is at the left of the Krusty Krab, instead of being at the right of it, like it's always. This could count both as Continuity error and as Plot Hole error.
Corrected entry: In the episode 4-2 "The Lost Mattress / Krabs vs. Plankton", Mr. Krabs claims he never heard of a bank. But in "Krabby Land," he says "Hi, kids. Uncle Krabs has to go to the bank now." He also has a sack of money, proving that he does put his money in a bank, rather than a mattress.
Corrected entry: In "Nasty Patty", they enter the fridge, and there's nothing in it. However, we see that in "SB-129", Squidward stays in the fridge for 2000 years, until the future, and then he returns to the past. But wouldn't SpongeBob and Krabs, when they see the fridge, see that Squidward is there, frozen?
Corrected entry: In "Squilliam Returns", when Squidward gives up on everyone and runs out of the Krusty Krab, he runs into Squilliam. If you look at the shown window of the KK, it is the ordinary window with the ropes on it. But when they walk in, wallpaper covers all of the windows. I know that Spongebob converted the restaurant from crappy to fancy very quick, but I think we would've seen him placing wallpaper on the windows.
Corrected entry: In all the episodes Mermaid Man and the Barnacle Boy have 4 fingers in each hand. When Barnacle Boy in this episode, starts making his demands, suddenly he has 5 fingers in his hand.
Corrected entry: In this episode, Branacle Boy enters the EVIL society. In that society, Dirty Bubble and Man Ray appear. This is impossible. Dirty Bubble died in Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy II, and Man Ray stopped being a villain in Mermaid Man And Barnacle Boy III. So if all of this happened, no EVIL society would exist.
Corrected entry: In "No Free Rides," two cops watch Mrs. Puff and Spongebob fighting over the wheel of the car. There is a billboard next to the cops that says "Accident?" Later, when Mrs. Puff and Spongebob crash into the cops, the billboard reads "Accidente?" It changed to Spanish.
Corrected entry: SpongeBob grabs the car after Ms Poff steals his boat. After a while, an "Educative television" sing appears that stops SpongeBob. There's a shot of Ms. Poff hearing SpongeBob screaming because of the television. But SpongeBob is in the radio area at the time. How can he be in two places at the same time?
Corrected entry: Squidward goes into the past and shows how to catch claims. When he returns into the present, he asks who invented that game of catching claims. SpongeBob and Patrick answer with the truth, Squidward was the one that invented it. However, how can SpongeBob and Patrick know this, if more than a million years have passed? It's impossible that the SpongeBob and Patrick of the past told everybody that Squidward invented that game and the story survived a million years, making SpongeBob to know that Squidward was the inventor.
Corrected entry: In 'Your Shoe's Untied', Spongebob inches along the kitchen of the Krusty Krab to hand the patty to Squidward. You can see from the background that he moves past a box of patties, and even farther (judging by the time he takes), yet he remains in the same spot. I understand that it's for comedic effect, but it still doesn't make any sense.
Corrected entry: In "Jellyfish Jam" when Squidward calls Spongebob's house, a jellyfish answers, and Squidward yells in the phone saying, "square headed assault on my ears."(referring to SB). How come he was trying to talk to SB if he heard the jellyfish buzz, "Hello?"
Corrected entry: In 'Your Shoe's Untied', Spongebob slams his feet into the floorboards so that Patrick couldn't see that his shoes were still untied. He drags his feet along under the floor. How could he walk with his feet under the floor, if he can't even walk normally?
Corrected entry: When Pearl tells Spongebob to remove the buns, patties and condiments from the Krabby Patty, Spongebob states that only left the tomatoes and lettuce. Yet in many other episodes, like "Pickles", the Krabby Patty also has onions and pickles, which are not counted as condiments.
Corrected entry: In Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V, Barnacle Boy says he is 68 years old. However, in the previous "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy" episode, when Spongebob finds Mermaid Man's Belt, Spongebob mentions for 60 years it's been used to help protect. Although Barnacle Boy is Mermaid Man's sidekick (and a sidekick is usually younger), 8 years of age seems a little young to be a sidekick.
Corrected entry: When Patrick rips off some of Sandy's fur in "Survival of the Idiots," Spongebob says "Let me see that roll of tape." He shouldn't need to borrow it, though, because just a few moments earlier, he peeled some of the bark of Sandy's tree back and the sealed it with his own roll of tape. Patrick couldn't have borrowed Spongebob's, because his looked different from the one Spongebob used.
Corrected entry: At the beginning of "Hall Monitor", Mrs. Puff says it's time to choose the Hall monitor of the day, leading us to the assumption that a new hall monitor is chosen every day. However, directly in the sentence afterward, she says she is choosing that week's hall monitor.
Corrected entry: Spongebob shrinks down after Patrick's suggestions to get an award. When Spongebob shrinks down and says "The smallest you can think of", his voice is high-pitched, but when Spongebob agrees with Patrick's suggestion about a job at the Krusty Krab, his voice is normal. It should be tiny until he grows back.
Corrected entry: In "Sandy, Spongebob, and the Worm," when the town is in the Krusty Krab talking about how to protect themselves from the Alaskan Bull Worm, the pink fish with the red bikini is in the crowd twice and there's another fish that's in there three or four times.
Corrected entry: Squidward spray painted "loser" pointing to his own face (which he also spray painted) on one of the front doors of the Krusty Krab. When Spongebob first goes into the Krusty Krab, the drawings (or whatever they were) disappear.
Corrected entry: In "Your Shoe's Untied," Spongebob comes into the Krusty Krab and says "I can't let Patrick see that I still haven't tied my shoes." Patrick and other customers are eating. But Spongebob is the only Krusty Krab frycook, so how could they be eating if he wasn't there.
Corrected entry: In "Pre-Hibernation Week," when they're swimming in the ice-cold water, Sandy says she has three days left until hibernation. But then, Patrick comes home with groceries and asks, "Who are you people?" to everyone under his rock, indicating that Spongebob had only been under the rock while he was on a daily errand. So it had only been a few hours since Sandy said she had three days left, but yet she starts hibernating.
Corrected entry: In "I Had An Accident", there's one scene where Sandy sticks her head into Spongebob's porthole to yell at him. The porthole is NOT open, therefore Sandy would've hit her head in the porthole window.
Corrected entry: In "Pickles," Spongebob is confused about everything and when he has to sleep, he says, "So is it mattress, mattress, blanket, pillow, Spongebob? No, that's not it..." and every time he tries to figure out the order he names two mattresses. But Spongebob's bed has three mattresses.
