Disappearing Samantha - S2-E27

Corrected entry: Lecturer Osgood Writemeyer (later Dr. Bombay played by Bernard Fox) takes a drink from Samantha while Endora is walking around couch to give drink to Osgood. Osgood takes the drink from Samantha but says "Thank you Endora" instead.

Correction: The person you hear saying, "Oh, thank you, Endora," is Larry Tate, who just picked up a Bloody Mary from Endora's tray of drinks.

Suggested correction: This is trivia at best, but the episode isn't really a remake of an earlier episode. Here Samantha teaches Uncle Arthur (Lynde) to drive and in season 1 Harold (Lynde) taught Samantha to drive. But the same actor playing multiple roles in a series is never a mistake.

Samantha for the Defense - S3-E14

Corrected entry: When the prosecutor calls Darrin as a witness, Samantha says "If only he was ready to rest his." The response is inconsistent. I imagine the prosecutor was scripted to say something like "The prosecution calls Darrin Stevens to the case" seems that there should have been a reference to the "case" for Samantha's line to make sense.

Correction: The line is consistent and makes sense. Darrin jokes that if the jury decided now, they'd convict the DA, to which Samantha says "I'm ready to rest my case" (to those at the table). Then the prosecutor calls Darrin, to which Samantha utters "if only he was ready to rest his."

George Washington Zapped Here (2) - S8-E22

Other mistake: This episode is merely a redo of the Ben Franklin episode in Season 3. The plot is the same. The dialogue in many parts is EXACTLY the same. The courtroom dialogue is the same as the courtroom episode of Ben Franklin. In both episodes, Samantha acts as the attorney even though a lay person is prohibited by law of practicing law... pretending to be an attorney.

Suggested correction: This isn't a mistake. At best this is trivia. "Bewitched" had several episodes that were remakes or similar storylines of previous episodes and they're not the only show to do so.

How Green Was My Grass - S4-E24

Continuity mistake: Before this episode (and after as well) Darrin and Samantha give their address as 1164 Morning Glory Circle, however in this episode, when Darrin slams the door, the '9' in 192 on their address spins around to make 162, hence the angry neighbor at 162 saying that his grass was installed at the Stevens' by mistake.

Samantha: Try to control your temper. Remember, "Peace on earth, goodwill to men" includes witches.

Show generally

Question: Is there some reason why Samantha wears the same exact "Heart Pendant Necklace" in every single episode? It seems odd that she only has one necklace all the time.

Answer: The original diamond and white gold heart necklace was given to Elizabeth Montgomery by her then real-life husband, William Asher, who also directed the show. She wore it in nearly every early episode. When the necklace was lost or stolen about mid-way through the series, Montgomery had two replicas made from rhinestones. She wore either one of those for the rest of the show's run.
