Continuity mistake: After Lorelai and Christopher bring coffee and donuts to Rory and the other newspaper staff, while Rory's talking to her parents she's holding a blue pencil and papers with no clipboard in sight, but when Chris and Lorelai say goodbye Rory's pencil is black and a clipboard has suddenly appeared in her closeup. Continuity mistake: When Lorelai picks up Rory and they head off on a drive there is no rearview mirror on the Jeep's windshield, but when they run out of gas and start their walk, a rearview mirror suddenly appears.
It's Just Like Riding a Bike - S7-E19
Plot hole: The dog, Paul Anka, uses the porch steps without a blanket over them. In an earlier episode, Lorelai states that he's afraid of the porch steps when Babette tries to walk him. (00:32:50)
Continuity mistake: When Lane unpacks the groceries Zack has brought, she takes out the bananas and then the apples, twice in a row.
Continuity mistake: In this episode, when Logan goes to see Lorelai to ask her permission to propose to Rory, Lorelai asks Logan if he wants any french fries. They sit down and the to-go container is open, when the camera zooms in and then back out it's closed again.
Other mistake: In the opening scene, Lorelai and Sookie go to the bakery to pick up a cake. Lorelai pays for the cake but they leave the bakery empty-handed.
Chosen answer: Lorelai and Christopher get married impulsively in Paris but they get divorced shortly after returning home. I don't know the exact number of days or weeks but they definitely weren't married for more than a couple of months.
