Correction: The coach told him during the school day. Corey didn't have a chance to tell his family, so when he got home, his family had already left for the game.

Father Knows Less - S1-E3

Corrected entry: When Cory's ball bounces into Feeny's yard, he climbs over it and is surprised to see Feeny when he flashes a light on him. Cory would literally have to be blind to not notice Mr. Feeny in his lawn chair.

Correction: Things like that happen in real life all the time. Especially in the dark. It's not at all unrealistic for Cory to have missed Mr. Feeny due to the fact that he wasn't looking for him. I recently walked right past a friend I was on my way to visit, purely because she wasn't where I was expecting her to be.

Feeny was sitting less than 5 feet away from where the ball landed and also would have been in Cory's field of view based on where the ball ended up and Feeny's position relative to it. The mistake is valid.

As the previous user mentioned above; ridiculous as it may appear to an audience watching, this happens a lot in real life. I myself missed my cousin who walked right past me only a foot in front of me and that was in broad daylight when I was actively looking for her. If this kind of thing happens in real life, it can easily happen with the character. Especially since it was night-time and Cory was not expecting Feeny to be there.

Kid Gloves - S1-E19

Corrected entry: Alan tells Cory that he won the gloves for finishing second in his weight class, yet when Cory is on the phone, he says they belong to the second best boxer in the whole Navy.

Correction: Alan said "Second in my weight class in the entire United States Navy." Cory was right.

Correction: Many T.V. shows have a charcter for one episode, nothing intresting or unusual about that.

Correction: This doesn't mean that Mr. Feeny couldn't have taught 6th grade for years before Corey and the others started school. He is obviously old enough to have been teaching for years before they were even born.

On the Fence - S1-E2

Corrected entry: If Shawn lives in a trailer park, and as we later find out, his father has trouble paying the bills, how can he afford an extremely expensive water gun?

Correction: That water gun wasn't really implied to have been expensive, just amazing because it could hold so much water and was so big. Plenty of stores sell water guns that can hold a ton of water and are farely huge and it doesn't even cost over 15 dollars. Plus, it may have been a gift.

The Father/Son Game - S1-E11

Corrected entry: When the bell rings after Mr. Feeney's first class, Cory doesn't take his books, even though everyone else does. Also, unless they say the Pledge of Alleigance toward the end, the class is about five minutes long.

Correction: Doesn't mean Cory didn't realize his mistake and come back for his books later. And some schools do the Pledge of Alleigance toward the end of class. My Junior High School did.

The Fugitive - S1-E17

Corrected entry: Allan says Cory and Shawn have been best friends since Shawn taught Cory how to pick the lock on his playpen. But the flashback in "It's Not You, It's Me" shows Shawn and Cory meeting for the first time at the zoo, aged around 6 or 7.

Correction: He was saying that to imply that Cory and Shawn have been best friends forever, it was not meant to be take literally.

Correction: Amy says that the door between Morgan's room and the bathroom is locked, so presumably, it is through this door and out Morgan's bedroom that Shawn leaves. There is a door there when we see the bathroom later.

Class Pre-Union - S1-E9

Corrected entry: The sign at the class reunion says "Welcome Back, Class of 2000," but the characters actually graduated from high school in a 1998 episode.

Correction: In reality, if you do the math, they should have graduated in 2000 as shown in the episode. Since it was a series, they combined a few grades into a season, like season 2 had them in 7th and 8th grade. Technically, 2000 is correct.

The B-Team of Life - S1-E14

Corrected entry: When Cory is telling the family about his game, he says he grabbed the rebound, and the opposing team fouled him. Then he made the free throw and won the game. In logic, no team would give another team a free throw, rather than making someone shoot a final shot.

Correction: It says that no real team would foul anyone, but Cory didn't even play in the game. He was making up the entire story, so even if it isn't logical, he may have not thought it through.

Correction: Character mistake.

Correction: How is this a mistake, many guest stars in shows are never seen again. Maybe she moved out. Just because she isn't in any more story-lines doesn't mean she isn't around.

But in the later season when Topanga and her mom are talking about her and her father divorcing the mother implies that Topanga is their only child.

Correction: She didn't say "I don't know who Eric is" she probably just didn't recognize him. People can change a lot within a few years.

This correction isn't consistent with the way the scene and episode both play out. When Eric first shows up to talk to Cory and his classmates, Cory and Mr. Feeny both loudly announce his arrival by saying "Eric?" and "Mr. Matthews?" respectively, which elicits no immediate reaction from Topanga. Moments later when Mr. Feeny says "Please class, give Mr. Matthews your attention," a wide-eyed Topanga incredulously responds with "Matthews?", as if she didn't know Cory had a brother, despite Cory and Feeny both addressing Eric when he first arrived. This is further substantiated by Eric, who instead of responding with "Yeah Topanga, it's me Eric. Don't you recognize me?" says "Oh yeah, I'm Cory's older brother. I got the good hair." When Topanga shows up at their house the next day, Eric greets her with "Topanga, right?" and later says she's known him "for like 5 minutes," suggesting they had never met until the day before.

Show generally

Continuity mistake: The age gap between Eric and Cory decreases as the series progresses. At the start of the show, Cory is in 6th grade and Eric is a high school sophomore, meaning they are four years apart, give or take a few months. By season 3, Cory is in 9th grade (confirmed by dialogue mentioning that Shawn, who is in the same grade as Cory, is 15 years old), and Eric is a senior, leading to an age gap of three years. The first episode of season 4 takes place a couple months after the end of season 3, with Eric and Cory returning from a summer Road Trip, but just two episodes later, Cory mentions that he is in 11th grade, while Eric is still barely out of high school, leading to an age gap of two years.

Me and Mr. Joad - S2-E4

Mr. Feeny: I realise that all you 7th-graders are delicate, adolescent flowers, just beginning your high school blooming. And so I say this with utmost sensitivity: take this test, or die!

Question: Topanga said in one episode that she has a weird middle name, did she ever say what it is?

Answer: Topanga's middle name is never specified. Considering her sister's name is Nebula Stop-the-war Lawrence, Topanga's is probably something equally unusual.
