Ocean's Three and a Half - S7-E7

Corrected entry: When Lois asks Brian where Peter is, he tells her that Peter, Joe, Quagmire and Cleveland went to rob her dad. There's no way Brian would have known this as he wasn't in the room when they were discussing the plan.

Correction: So much time passes that Brian had plenty of time and ways to find out. Peter could have even told Brian he's leaving to go rob his father-in-law since we don't see them leaving.

Bishop73

Stewie Goes for a Drive - S10-E4

Corrected entry: As it starts to rain, Stewie gets stabbed by a random stranger. Later on the bus, and when he gets off, there's no evidence of the stabbing.

Movie Nut

Correction: This was done as a joke and a call back to an earlier joke where Stewie says "at least it's not raining" and then gets stabbed. The effects aren't permanent, just like all the times Peter's been mortally wounded only to appear normal in the next scene.

Bishop73

And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Corrected entry: When Diane Simmons is shot by an anonymous gunman, she is on the ground. However, when the gunman is revealed to be Stewie, he is on the roof and the position of the gun he used is completely horizontal, putting the gun in an impossible position to shoot Diane.

xx:xx:xx

Casual Person

Correction: We never see Stewie shoot the gun. And the shot of Stewie's horizontal gun was after Diane was shot and fell off the cliff. Plenty of time for Stewie to set the butt of the gun back down into the horizontal position.

Bishop73

Mind over Murder - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When Peter first has a piano in his bar, it's an upright model commonly seen in bars. The next night, it's a full sized Grand Piano. Given the width of the stairs, the size of the doorways, it seems unlikely to have been put down there without a considerable amount of effort.

Movie Nut

Correction: The whole area was transformed, a stage, extra lighting, etc. So, yes, a considerable amount of effort was done. Lois was excited to perform and conceivably hired a bunch of professionals to fix the area up (who are more than capable of bringing a piano down stairs and setting it up).

Model Misbehavior - S4-E10

Corrected entry: In this episode, Lois is a model. Throughout the whole series, she has short hair but in this one, she has it up in a ponytail. Her hair isn't long enough for the hairstyle shown at the party.

amycamille1975

Correction: She could have been wearing hair extensions.

MasterOfAll

Stewie Kills Lois (1) - S6-E5

Corrected entry: When Chris says goodbye when Lois and Peter are getting on the boat, the sea in the background 'jolts'.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: The sea never jolts, it just drifts normally, like any part of the sea would.

Casual Person

Internal Affairs - S10-E23

Corrected entry: During the chicken fight, one of the clones blows one of the cloning machines up. However, seconds later, they are both intact.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: It was only the interior of the machine that got blown up after one of the Peter clones threw one of the chicken clones into the machine, whilst the exterior of the machine remained fine. In fact, it can be noticed that the broken glass is shown from when one of the Peter clones threw one of the chicken clones into the machine just as the explosion that destroys the facility occurs.

Casual Person

Road to the North Pole - S9-E7

Corrected entry: At the end of the episode, as the camera zooms away from the house, Santa, his sleigh and reindeer are sitting on top of the house the entire time. However, he flies in from the right of the screen and towards the viewer.

Correction: Santa was never on top of the house, that was just the Griffins' Christmas decorations of Santa and the reindeer on their roof.

Casual Person

European Road Show - S3-E20

Corrected entry: When KISS is shown on stage, Paul (The singer, also known as Starchild) has the star over his left eye. Paul always has the star over his right eye. Watch any video of KISS in makeup.

A Demon

Correction: Paul's star is always on his right eye. It may just look like it is wrong since it's on the left side of the screen, but because he's facing forward, that his his right side. You can see when he and Gene turn their back in disgust that the Star is on the right hand side (since now the viewer and he are "facing" the same way).

Show generally

Corrected entry: The upstairs in Peter's house has slanted walls, but everyone's bedrooms have straight walls.

amycamille1975

Correction: Walls are several inches thick (or more) because there is space for the structural supports of the house inside them, also room for wiring, plumbing, insulation, etc. Just because a wall is slanted on one side does not mean it can't be straight on the other.

Phixius

Road to the Multiverse - S8-E1

Corrected entry: When Brian and Stewie are in the universe without religion, Brian asks what happened to the art of the Renaissance and they go to the Sistine Chapel to see that John Hinkley decorated the ceiling. Why is there a Sistine Chapel in a world with no religion?

Captain Defenestrator

Correction: It's not a world with no religion whatsoever; Stewie simply described it in a world without Christianity. The Sistine Chapel could still exist, but not necessarily as a building with any religious significance, or possibly representing a different faith.

zendaddy621

Peter-assment - S8-E14

Corrected entry: When the family are at the school play, Brian suggests that it's possibly too soon for a musical about the tragic story of Terri Schaivo, implying that it's the first time the play has been done. However, Stewie (who is playing an electrical plug) meets Jared, who has been the plug every year for three years.

Purple_Girl

Correction: It's highly unlikely Brian keeps track of what play the young elementary students are putting on. This is Stewie's first year of involvement and therefore Brian's first year of awareness. He's making the observation for the first time because he just found out about the play for the first time.

Phixius

Perfect Castaway - S4-E12

Corrected entry: In the scene where Brian and Lois are talking in the bedroom, you can see that they both sleep in two separate beds. However, in a different scene when Lois is riding on top of Peter in the bedroom, you can see there is only one double bed inside the room.

Correction: While married, Lois and Brian sleep in separate beds, which were specifically acquired for the purpose. When Lois is married to Peter, they share a bed. There's no telling how much time passes between shots and it's not that hard to move some furniture around.

Phixius

Barely Legal - S5-E8

Corrected entry: In the scene when Brian and Stewie are fighting over saying "Cool Whip", Stewie spits out hair, however if you look Stewie actually never took a bite out of the pie.

Correction: He most certainly did take a bite. Less than a second after Stewie spread a bit of Cool Whip on his piece of pie, he very quickly scoops out a piece and eats it.

Long John Peter - S6-E13

Corrected entry: In the scene where Peter gets Chris a bullfrog you see him walk through the door on the right but when Peter tries to get the bullfrog out the window the door is replaced by the window.

Correction: The door does not move, we are just viewing the scene from a different angle.

MasterOfAll

Death Lives - S3-E6

Corrected entry: When Peter is in the van with Cleveland, Cleveland's voice is slow and how it normally is, except it shouldn't be. In another episode, Peter recounted that Cleveland was an auctioneer and was hit with an antique which made his voice slow.

curiouskid

Correction: Being a caller at an auction is a skill that needs to be learned. Since Cleveland originally spoke slowly, it's more likely that he began to speak faster once trained as an auctioneer, but the antique hitting him made him revert to his normal slow speaking voice.

rswarrior

Lois Kills Stewie (2) - S6-E6

Corrected entry: As Lois sprays the Oval Office with machine-gun fire, she hits all the Presidential portraits with bullets, but fixates on George W. Bush's, shredding it to pieces. A few scenes later, the GWB portrait is shown with just a few holes in it, hardly shredded.

Correction: As stated at the end of the episode it was only a simulation almost like a dream. Due to the programming of the simulation there could have been a flaw that caused the picture to fix itself.

Greenman37

Mind over Murder - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When Stewie's chatting up 'Misti', the equation he writes on his napkin changes between shots.

xx:xx:xx

Blibbetyblip

Correction: The equation ( 1 1/2a 3=1/8 )stays the same throughout.

A Demon

Chitty Chitty Death Bang - S1-E3

Corrected entry: As Peter is saying "Today, you become the man of the house because when we get home, you're mother is going to kill me", Peter and Chris walk past the same four arcade games twice.

xx:xx:xx

Blibbetyblip

Correction: It's not unsual to have multiple instances of the same machine in an arcade.

A Demon

Brian: Portrait of a Dog - S1-E7

Corrected entry: When Brian is putting in his eyedrops, notice his buckle on his collar. In the next shot, we see Brian's reflection in the mirror, but the buckle is not flipped.

xx:xx:xx

Blibbetyblip

Correction: It does flip if you look carefully.

A Demon

The Son Also Draws - S1-E6

Corrected entry: When The Griffins leave to New York in their car the order in the back is Chris, Stewie then Meg, but in the next shot it's Meg, Stewie then Chris.

xx:xx:xx

Chaz1003

Correction: Some time has passed between those two shots since they are now in the countryside. Therefore we don't know if the family stopped for a toilet break or something where they would have changed place.

A Demon

Meet The Quagmires - S5-E18

Corrected entry: When Peter goes back in time to when he was eighteen, Brian points out Lois and refers to her as "eighteen-year-old" Lois. In the episode "Let's Go To The Hop", in the second season, Lois mentioned that she is two years younger than Peter. She would actually be sixteen when he is eighteen.

Correction: Brian's just gone back in time and is now seeing the woman of his dreams as a hot teenager. He made a mistake, that's all.

Gary O'Reilly

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the episode when Bryan goes on The Bachelorette, when Quagmire and Brooke are in the hot tub, Brooke passes out after drinking the champagne that Quagmire put a drug in. You hear the sound of her hitting the ground a moment early, before you see it.

Correction: The sound is her falling, not her hitting the ground.

moviedude345

The Thin White Line (1) - S3-E1

Corrected entry: In the scene where Brian and Joe bust the "Sunday school drug ring," the two get in a brawl with a group of drug-running midgets. Joe throws his nightstick at one drug-runner, punches a second, but kicks the third drug-runner, despite the fact that Joe is a paraplegic.

Mabon-Tail

Correction: Already submitted and corrected. He swings his chair around so violently his legs come flying up due to the centrifugal force. He doesn't move them himself.

SexyIrishLeprechaun

Death Has a Shadow - S1-E1

Corrected entry: In the first shot of the flashback showing the family watching "Philadelphia," Peter's eyes are about twice as big as they normally are. They're back to normal in the next shot.

Movie_Freak 1

Correction: In this scene Peter's eyes are supposed to be larger then normal. The reason for this is he is explaining what happened last time he drank Irish Coffee. The large eyes are used to show that he is "buzzing" from the drink, as you will also notice that he comments that Tom Hanks is a funny guy and when the character says "I have AIDS" Peter bursts out laughing.

Holy Crap - S2-E2

Corrected entry: At one point, Peter's father tells Lois "Maybe you won't go to Hell after all. Maybe you'll just be sent to Purgatory with all the unbaptized babies." Catholics believe that unbaptized babies are sent to Limbo, not Purgatory, and a fanatically devout Catholic like Mr. Griffin would know that.

Correction: Purgatory IS Limbo. Purgatory is the place between heaven and hell, as is Limbo. By definition we are merely dealing with a discrepancy in perceived common language.

E. Peterbus Unum - S2-E18

Corrected entry: The gas, electricity and water to Petoria have all been cut off, and there is no food in the house, yet all of these things are available and in use later at the big party attended by various world leaders.

Correction: The fact that the various world leaders were able to gain entry to Petoria, it would make sense that the world leaders might have brought food to the party. Even if not, the US army might have given them or allowed them to buy some basic foods. There was no sign of whether gas and electricity were turned back on. They were cooking on a charcoal barbecue and it was daylight during the party.

Lummie

Blind Ambition - S4-E3

Corrected entry: The sheet of toilet paper change numbers when Lois tears them off to put on the seat (right before she sees Quagmire peeping on her). She tears off three sheets, but they change to four when she puts them on the seat. (This happens on both sides of the seat).

Nick Bylsma

Correction: Louis tears off 3 sheets and puts them along the back. All other sheets she tears are of 4.

A Demon

Season 1 generally

Corrected entry: Admittedly it would be difficult to understand him, but during the first three episodes of series one, Stewie properly enunciates without any teeth (he grows teeth in episode 4).

Correction: He's a baby that talks, that in itself is a physiological impossibility.

Phixius

North by North Quahog - S4-E1

Corrected entry: During this episode, Chris still goes to Buddy Cianci Jr. High, but the teacher who catches him with the vodka was seen in the episode "Let's Go to the Hop" as a teacher from Meg's school, James Woods High.

Blibbetyblip

Correction: There are several possible explanations to this, the most likely one that the teacher had simply switched schools. Maybe he got a new job, or maybe he was a substitute who filled different positions at different times.

Twotall

The Courtship of Stewie's Father - S4-E16

Corrected entry: When Peter is driving Stewie to Disneyland, the scenery flashing past the windows is just the same few trees over and over.

xx:xx:xx

Blibbetyblip

Correction: This is a very common technique used in animation to save the animators time and effort. It can't really be classified as a mistake.

Grumpy Scot

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the opening titles, as the Griffins are dancing up the stairs, Lois is nowhere near Stewie, but in the next shot, she is holding him.

Blibbetyblip

Correction: This is the introduction to the show. It is not supposed to have continuity. Why would a regular family have showgirls and an enormous staircase either?

Gary O'Reilly

Screwed The Pooch - S3-E13

Corrected entry: When Brian chases after the car after having seen dogs on TV, when it cuts to the close up of him hitting the car, he doesn't even touch it.

Correction: If you play it in slo-mo, you can see that he DOES hit it, but I'll admit that it doesn't look like it when played at normal speed.

Blibbetyblip

The Tan Aquatic with Steve Zissou - S5-E11

Corrected entry: When Peter and Kyle are talking in Kyle's bedroom (just before Peter beats Kyle up), Kyle mocks Peter by saying "My name's Peter Griffin! I'm a big fat dumb butt-face!", but Peter never introduced himself as 'Peter Griffin', he introduced himself as 'Chris Griffin's father'.

Blibbetyblip

Correction: He wouldn't necessarily need to say it. Chris could have mentioned to Kyle earlier that his father is named Peter.

Twotall

Wasted Talent - S2-E20

Corrected entry: In the shot where you see Pawtucket Pat and the group, look at the beer room from the door, Charlie and his grandpa are present (representing the characters from the 1971 Wonka film).

Correction: Not really trivia. It's incredibly obvious to anyone who's seen the movie that this is Charlie and Grampa Joe- in fact there are several close-ups of them during the episode.

Blibbetyblip

European Road Show - S3-E20

Corrected entry: Lois refers to Gene Simmons by the name Chaim Witz, and they both say they knew each other and had sex together before Gene became famous. But the name "Chaim Witz" was the name Gene used in Israel as a child. According to his autobiography, when he came to New York as an eight-year-old, his name was changed to Gene Klein, and he never used the name "Chaim" in the US. Lois could not have known him when he went by the name Chaim Witz, and could certainly not have had sex with him at the time.

Twotall

Correction: He couldn't have told her his birth name? Perhaps she preferred it to Gene Klein, or was showing off her detailed knowledge of Simmons early life.

E. Peterbus Unum - S2-E18

Corrected entry: Joe Swanson says he spent his tax return on a new State-of-the-art TV with surround sound but later in the episode we see this TV when the power goes, doesn't look very new or modern.

Cybermoose

Correction: He's only allowed to own one television set?

Screwed The Pooch - S3-E13

Corrected entry: When Peter is in the art gallery, he rubs out an eye on a Picasso picture and redraws it with a pencil. The eye he draws is white with a black outline and a blue iris, yet he only uses the one pencil.

Correction: The scene is entirely within Peter's fevered imagination. Anything can happen.

No Chris Left Behind - S5-E16

Corrected entry: In the episode "No Chris Left Behind," when Peter and Lois are talking about Chris in the kitchen, Peter spots the chicken and then the chicken crashes through the window. After a few shots of fighting, they then both crash through the same window, but the break in the window from the chicken is missing.

Correction: That was not the same window. The chicken came in through the back kitchen window but Peter and the Chicken went back out through the front living room window.

Chitty Chitty Death Bang - S1-E3

Corrected entry: When Lois has the flashback of her making Meg's cake, things continuously move or disappear in between shots.

xx:xx:xx

Chaz1003

Correction: First, this is far too vague. What "things" are moving or disappearing? Second, it's a narrative flashback - Lois's impression of what happened. The normal rules don't apply.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the episode "No Chris Left Behind", Peter has three fights with the chicken. Just before the first fight the chicken tells Peter to pick up a coupon notice. In that one shot, you can see the chicken's head shows the man inside, but in any other scene with the chicken, his head is covered.

Correction: The chicken is just a chicken, it's not a man in a suit.

Nick Bylsma

DaBoom - S2-E3

Corrected entry: When Peter has the fight with the chicken in the part where they are on the overpass and the chicken lands on the truck then, the truck is driving away from the overpass but Peter doesn't move in the next shot it shows Peter on the same overpass but the truck the chicken was riding on again drives under the same overpass Peter is on with the chicken on the same truck.

Correction: No. The truck does move. Peter runs quickly ahead (faster than the truck) to another overpass, which the truck goes under, and Peter jumps off, with the joke being that Peter somehow overtook the truck.

Gary O'Reilly

The Thin White Line (1) - S3-E1

Corrected entry: When the Griffins are driving Brian to rehab there's a front licence plate on the car, but it has no characters on it.

Tobin OReilly

Correction: So? It's probably a white piece of plastic. Our truck has that too.

And the Wiener is... - S3-E5

Corrected entry: Stewie's rendition of Rocket Man is very similar to William Shatner's version at the 1978 Science Fiction Film Awards.

troy fox

Correction: So similar in fact, that it is the whole reason they had Stewie doing it in the first place. The sequence is a spoof of William Shatner's performance. Pointing out jokes in the show cannot be classed as trivia.

Blind Ambition - S4-E3

Corrected entry: When Peter enters Chris' room and accidentally thinks Chris is Lois, he quickly stands up and tries to change the mood by asking Chris questions, one of which is, "Did you do your homework today?" Chris nods his head yes, and Peter comprehends, despite the fact that he is blind.

Correction: He doesn't comprehend. He just gives a response to whatever answer Chris would have given, since he can assume that Chris would've given him an answer. Peter is just saying anything to get out the room, and the timing of Peter's response to Chris' nod can be explained by the fact that Peter knows the pace of a conversation.

Gary O'Reilly

PTV - S4-E14

Corrected entry: When Peter has a flashback to his sixteenth birthday party there are only 12 or 13 candles on the cake.

xx:xx:xx

Amy Dobbins

Correction: How is that a mistake? There is no law or rule that the number of candles on a cake must match the age of the birthday reciepent.

Lummie

Jungle Love - S4-E13

Corrected entry: Stewie goes to the airport after seeing a bad film; he puts his shoes through the tray and walks through the detector. He keeps walking and doesn't pick up his shoes but moments later on the plane, they are back on.

Correction: It's not moments later; you don't board the plane immediately after going through the security checkpoint. Stewie obviously realized that he was missing his shoes and went back to get them, in the time that passed while he was waiting to board the plane.

Andreas[DK]

Death Lives - S3-E6

Corrected entry: In the flashback scene where Peter meets Lois' father, Peter openly farts in anxiety. However, it was discovered in the previous season, when Peter gets his breast examined, that Peter had gas for the first time when he was 30. In this season, it is noted that Peter and Lois have been married for 17 years, and that Peter is 42. That would make Peter at most 25 when he first meets his father-in-law to be, 5 years before he first experienced passing gas.

Correction: It's doubtful that Peter really farted for the first time at age 30. He makes a lot of immature jokes and was probably kidding about this. If you took this seriously, you'd have to take a lot of the other outrageous things in the show seriously, too.

Show generally

Corrected entry: "Brian Goes Back to College" - Season 4, Episode 18: If you look at the handicapped teacher in the wheelchair, you can see that the keyboard on his wheelchair's arm only has four rows of five buttons, making twenty in all - not enough for every letter of the alphabet.

Correction: Maybe there are only twenty or so keys to save space. On many PDA keyboards there are special buttons you can hold (i.e. Ctrl, Alt)that allow you to access another keyboard (maybe there are 2 symbols on each key). A full size keyboard would take up a lot of space on a wheel chair.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Catholic baptism does not involve total immersion. (Series 4: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Fonz).

Correction: This is a character mistake at best. Peter's father is a bit more extreme than most (after all he has called the Pope "soft") and since he's in a hurry to get Stewie baptized he makes a mistake. Besides a baptizing done by a layperson would usually require that a priest performs a conditional baptizing at a later point, so even if he did it wrong it would still be valid if the intention was to have it redone by a priest later.

Andreas[DK]

Fifteen Minutes of Shame - S2-E12

Corrected entry: At the beginning, at the beach, the size of Mayor Adam West's telescope changes. One shot it has one section out from his hands, then next shot, it has two.

Correction: Like all telescopes, it can be collapsed or extended, which is what you are seeing here.

DaBoom - S2-E3

Corrected entry: When the Generals are looking at the screen that says Happy New Year, in one shot of the y in Year, the bottom of it curves to the left and in another shot it's straight.

Tobin OReilly

Correction: The words are made of moving lights that are tracking flying missiles - you'd expect them to move about a bit, wouldn't you?

Stuck Together, Torn Apart - S3-E19

Corrected entry: In this episode, Peter goes on a date with Jennifer Love Hewitt, but on some copies of the the DVD case, it says he goes on a date with Gwyneth Paltrow.

Correction: This is a mistake on the DVD cover, and is not a movie mistake.

I Never Met the Dead Man - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When he is driving Meg home from her driver's test, Peter has a watch on. He complains that he will miss the beginning of the new TV show "Fast Animals, Slow Children." He stated earlier that the show started at 8:00. His watch says it is 10:00.

Correction: It is later shown that Quahog is dependent upon a cable and satellite network for its television. Many channels on these networks have 'shadow' channels that broadcast the same material one or two hours later, and some the next day. Hence, the 8.00 am and 10.00 am startup slot for this show.

To Live and Die in Dixie - S3-E12

Corrected entry: A mistake in the subtitles: As Stewie yells, 'I've got blisters on me fingers.' after singing 'My big old fat ass baby', the subtitles read: "Imitates John Lennon." It is widely argued, but McCartney and Starr claim that it was Starr who said that, after a particularly vigorous rehearsal for Beatles song, 'Helter Skelter'.

Correction: You've missed the point of Stewie's actions - he is imitating John Lennon (whose voice is completely different to Ringo's) regardless of who said the line in real life.

Road to Rhode Island - S2-E13

Corrected entry: Stewie enters the number "111-1113" on the phone - however, when played in slow motion, his finger doesn't hit the "3".

Correction: The rules of this site are quite clear - if you have to use slow motion or freeze frame to spot a minor mistake, it is invalid, unless the mistake is major.

Brian Does Hollywood (2) - S3-E2

Corrected entry: In the action scene at the beginning, Stewie is shooting a helicopter and it blows up, making Stewie fall through a glass-top building. We see him fall through from the inside of the building, but the helicopter is nowhere in sight.

Correction: Fairly obvious that this scene is happening in Stewie's imagination. The rules don't apply.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the new season, in the episode where Lois goes to jail for shoplifting, the family is visiting Lois in jail where she is wearing orange prison garb. In the next scene where Peter is helping Lois escape, he puts Lois' head in his mouth with her body hanging outside it. She is now wearing her normal uniform of green top and beige pants. Yes, its a cartoon, but she should still be wearing the orange.

citysister

Correction: It is possible she put her normal clothes on under the jumpsuit. A prisoner in Houston escaped by having regular clothes under his jumpsuit and taking it off before he walked out.

Stuck Together, Torn Apart - S3-E19

Corrected entry: This episode explains that Stewie's head became that weird shape from banging it on the roof. But in earlier episodes showing his birth, his head has always been that shape.

Correction: It's a cutaway scene. Most of these did not happen in the Family Guy "world" but meant as jokes for the story.

randomguy

Lethal Weapons - S3-E7

Corrected entry: When Quagmire calls 911, his hand actually dials '044'.

Correction: You never see Quagmire dial the phone, just his body stuck in the window.

randomguy

E. Peterbus Unum - S2-E18

Corrected entry: In the scene where Peter and the delegates of the UN are in the meeting room, when everyone laughs at Peter, you can see that some of the country names on the labels are spelled wrong. For example, there is "Danmark", "Maxico", and "Morrocco". Also, it looks like three of the seats are not filled. Why would there not be any UN delegates at the meeting?

Correction: The misspelling is certainly intentional.

randomguy

Love Thy Trophy - S2-E5

Corrected entry: Peter invites all the neighbors to his house, supposedly for tea. During the meeting, Peter excuses himself to ransack the other homes for the trophy. After the meeting, Peter, Lois and Chris are shown walking back to their own house, which was also ransacked.

Correction: There is nothing to indicate that this scene took place immediately after Peter ransacked all the other houses. All we see is that they are walking back into their house and the fact that someone ransacked their house (which couldn't have been Peter), would mean that one of the neighbours had the same idea as Peter and waited until they left to look through their house.

Lummie

Let's Go to the Hop - S2-E14

Corrected entry: In Chris's room, Peter and Louis accusing Chris of possessing a toad, when Chris says, "What about Meg. It could be hers." you can hear someone go, "Ha ha." on the sound track. It's no one in the family, as you can see none of their lips move.

Correction: Nobody says, "Ha ha." If you turn on the subtitles on the DVD, you can see it's Lois saying, "Oh now, dont."

elliott gale

Death Has a Shadow - S1-E1

Corrected entry: In the long shot of the mail lady walking to the Griffin house, she passes by the garage door. In the close up shot, she passes by it again.

Correction: She doesn't pass it twice, in the long view shot she makes it to the center of the little patch of grass then when you get up close, you can actually see a vertical line down the center of the patch and thats where she starts walking again.

Wasted Talent - S2-E20

Corrected entry: When Peter gets kicked out of the beer factory, he comes home drunk to find Meg chained to a huge weight so she can't get away from the piano which Lois is forcing her to play. When Peter sits down and starts playing, Lois realizes how good he is and she tells Meg she's off the hook and to go try the Clarinet. Yet Meg gets up and runs away. What happens to the chain and the weight? If Meg could run this fast when she was tied up, why didn't she just try before?

Correction: Just after Lois says "You're like the idiot from Shine", she says "Meg you're free" and Meg lifts up her leg, and Lois takes off the shackle. It's made very clear on the screen.

Gary O'Reilly

Wasted Talent - S2-E20

Corrected entry: When you see the Pawtucket Patriot, the shadows change several times (Just like in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory).

Correction: The animators didn't include shadows in this scene, let alone their perspectives.

randomguy

Let's Go to the Hop - S2-E14

Corrected entry: When Peter aka Lando, gives his little speech after receiving the crown, he rides away in a motorcycle which comes out of nowhere.

Correction: This is supposed to be part of the joke, how a huge motorcycle just appears out of nowhere. It's to give it sort of a romantic edge.

Death Has a Shadow - S1-E1

Corrected entry: In the shot we see of the family from underneath the statue of David's legs, Peter's eyes are about twice as large as they should be.

Correction: In cartoons, when the character is in awe of something their eyes always tend to be drawn larger in a look of shock. That is not a mistake.

Peter Griffin: Husband, Father...Brother? - S3-E14

Corrected entry: When Brian is reading the diary of Nate Griffin, there is an entry about a new colt that farted on him while he was grooming. The entry refers to the colt as 'she' many times. A colt is a young male horse - they should use the term 'filly'.

Correction: We can assume that since Nate is Peter's relative, that they are both complete idiots and he would not know the difference, which is why it is written this way deliberately. Besides, this is a character's mistake, not the show's mistake.

Mind over Murder - S1-E4

Corrected entry: When Peter builds the bar downstairs, and Lois sings for the first time the wall that lines the stairs is solid. When she has a stage and curtain backdrop, suddenly there is a door where Stewie is in the jolly jumper.

Correction: This door could have been added when the stage was built. There is no time frame given from the building of the bar to this point.

From Method to Madness - S3-E18

Corrected entry: When Stewie is trying to play the french horn, the music score written on the wall behind him makes no sense. One line is two and a half beats long, and the next line is four beats. There are no measure lines anywhere.

Correction: This is a school for young children, it is quite possible one of them drew that music score, not knowing too much about what to do. In fact, it could have been Stewie, who's just a baby.

Death Lives - S3-E6

Corrected entry: When Death and Peter get into a fight outside the pet store, Death controls his severed arm to poke Peter in the eyes. However, Peter is wearing glasses. His eyes could not have possibly been poked unless his glasses, for some reason, did not have lenses in them.

Correction: In another episode Stewie breaks Meg's glasses and Peter tells her that "Nobdy needs glasses". Meg says "But YOU wear glasses" and Peter replies "That's just to fool the man from the draft board..." So maybe his glasses DON'T have lenses in - it's something so stupid and pointless that it fits Peter's character perfectly.

Death Is a Bitch - S2-E6

Corrected entry: In the bar shoot-out, the participants are covered with bullets. Once the rules of death are reinstated, every person with a bullet in a fatal spot should be dead.

Correction: In theory that would be the case, but in the show Death has to actually come and "kill" the person. In this episode its shown that Death himself has to touch the person or take them away before they are actually dead. If he wanted to he could go back to the bar and collect all the people that shot themselves but he wouldn't have much reason to.

Lummie

A Hero Sits Next Door - S1-E5

Corrected entry: When Everyone is at Joe's House he is working at the BBQ and he flips a burger over onto his hand (or a bun but I'm not sure) Then just before the camera shoots over to Peter the burger in Joe's hand disappears into thin air.

James Warrender

Correction: When Joe puts the burger in his hand he flips it up to his right. In normal speed you can see he flips it over his shoulder, but because of the very fast transition to Peter it makes it look that the burger has disappeared into thin air.

The Son Also Draws - S1-E6

Corrected entry: When the Fonz appears to Peter in a spiritual vision, Peter asks him if he has ever gotten any sexual diseases since he has been with so many women. The Fonz replies: "Herpes twice. And the clap." There is no cure for herpes so you can only get it once and keep it.

Paul Pepiton

Correction: (a) There is more than one type of herpes. (b) Fonz is an idiot, and could easily believe that when his herpes went into remission he was 'cured', only to believe himself reinfected when he had another outbreak.

Ready, Willing, and Disabled - S3-E15

Corrected entry: The foam disappears from Joe's beer even though he doesn't drink from it.

xx:xx:xx

Piemanmoo

Correction: Much like in soda, foam will naturally dissipate from beer if it sits untouched, particularly in light beers.

The Kiss Seen Around the World - S3-E8

Corrected entry: When Peter pretends to play the keyboard in the toy store, a man takes exception to it. When the Griffins are back in the parking lot, the man has spray painted the word "Phony" on their station wagon. The man just met Peter two minutes earlier, how would he know which vehicle to spray paint?

xx:xx:xx

Reservoir Dog

Correction: If you watch the very first episode (I never met the dead man) you can see the phony guy, working on a new toy at the toy factory, where Peter also works. So they probably know each other from work.

I Never Met the Dead Man - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When the family are playing basketball, after each of them (except Peter) sink a hoop, the balls simply disappear.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: The ground is off screen and before it is shown the balls could have easily bounced or rolled away.

Peter Griffin: Husband, Father...Brother? - S3-E14

Corrected entry: The end credits for this episode feature Peter rapping the lyrics to the theme tune.

Kara

Correction: Kind of obvious - not really trivia.

Screwed The Pooch - S3-E13

Corrected entry: Peter and Carter Pewterschmidt, Lois's father, are in a game of Texas hold 'em poker with Michal Eisner, Bill Gates and Ted Turner. After some betting, Carter shows his hand, as does Ted. The problem is that anyone who has ever seen Texas hold 'em knows that they are not playing correctly. Each player has two cards to themselves and five community cards. It might be minor, but why mention a specific game such as hold 'em then not follow the basic rules of the game?

Correction: Texas Hold 'em was the first hand Peter dealt but the hand Carter and Ted are playing is much later in the night, it ends up being the last hand. They may have switched to five card draw to keep things interesting.

DaBoom - S2-E3

Corrected entry: Right after the Y2k takes effect and it shows the family (assumed to be only a little while later), Peter comments on how he was the third Hardy Boy. When Lois corrects him by saying that there were only two Hardy Boys, Peter says "Just like there was no apocalypse? HE SHOOTS HE SCORES." and slams into Lois with his stomach, causing her to fall down. When the shot changes, Louis is suddenly back on her feet. The transition between the two was less than a second - not nearly enough time for her to get back up.

Correction: All Peter does is bump her off screen and into something. We don't actually see her fall down.

A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas - S3-E16

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the episode, Chris gives Stewie a candy cane, which Stewie immediately begins sharpening with a knife, with the intent to stab Lois with it. But if Stewie had a knife the entire time, why didn't he just stab Lois with that?

Correction: Because stabbing someone with a candy cane at Christmas had more poetic flare.

Xofer

Show generally

Corrected entry: During the opening theme you can see in the background when Lois and Peter are singing on the piano that there is a stereo and three pictures of Stewie, Meg and Chris in the background. However, during episodes the piano is in one room and the stereo and pictures are in the room where they watch TV by the staircase.

Tobin OReilly

Correction: Whilst living in my house I've moved different things from one room to another. My computer was in my back room & is now in the front room.

And the Wiener is... - S3-E5

Corrected entry: At the end of the episode, Peter and Chris walk off and leave their guns behind.

Correction: This could very well be symbolic - Peter leaves his rifle behind because he's gotten over the insecurity that drove him to it in the first place, and Chris leaves his behind because he never needed it. Also, remember that we're talking about the two dumbest main characters in the series.

Death Lives - S3-E6

Corrected entry: In a flashback scene with Quagmire urging Peter to get some shore leave, Quagmire is actually seen naked from the waist down, but he has no 'equipment' of any kind. He's genderless.

xx:xx:xx

Correction: Actually, his left leg is slightly ahead of his right, which is just enough (by cartoon standards) to censor out naughty bits.

Season 3 generally

Corrected entry: Chris looses his trademark earring in this series, except in the title scene and in photos or anything that has been in previous series.

Correction: This is not true. In the episode Lethal Weapons(On Disc 1 of the Season 3 DVD Set), as the family is in the car on the way to church, Chris' earring is visible.

Fore, Father - S2-E21

Corrected entry: When Stewie is being weighed, the doctor says that Stewie is 29 pounds, but the scale points to about 26 pounds.

Craig Bryant

Correction: The scale goes from 0 to 25 to 50 in 5 pounds increments, which means the arrow points to just under 30 pounds.

Sereenie

There's Something About Paulie - S2-E16

Corrected entry: When Peter says "It must be better living in England, the worst they have there is drive-by-arguments." It goes to a 'flashback', and in the flashback, when the car stops, it's on the right side of the road. In England, cars drive on the left side of the road.

Correction: The drive by is in Peter's imagination. Peter is an idiot and seems reasonable for him to get the side of the road wrong.

The Thin White Line (1) - S3-E1

Corrected entry: Joe's legs are supposed to be paralyzed due to an accident. However, when he and Brian are fighting the midgets in the Sunday School for drug trafficking, he manages to kick one of them.

Correction: He actually spins the wheelchair around, and his leg swings out, kicking the midget.

Emission Impossible - S3-E11

Corrected entry: If Stewie was mutated because Lois smoked pot when she was pregnant with him, then why was Stewie's potential brother as smart as him?

Piemanmoo

Correction: You can't be sure that Lois actually smoked pot while pregnant with Stewie. She says it during a dream sequence, this doesn't mean it actually happened.

Mistakes

They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Trivia

The voices of Brian, Stewie and Peter (as well as other minor characters) are all voiced by the creator, Seth Macfarlane.
