Character mistake: At the very beginning, when Ray is picking up the food from the floor, he and Deborah refer to their kids by different names. They call one kid Matthew and the other Gregory. Yet we know the twin boys as Michael and Geoffrey Barone. Also, in the same shot when he says, "Clean up Isle 2," you can see one of the bowls fall on the floor, and the second bowl is launched from the highchair without anyone touching it. Continuity mistake: Prior to bringing Ray up for the role-playing exercise, the parenting teacher erases a circled phrase from the chalkboard. Throughout the scene, the chalked circle flips several several times between being totally erased and having a faint outline left over.

Marie Barone: Ham.
Frank Barone: Excellent. I shall put on my ham pants.
Trivia: The flashback of this episode has several similarities to Ray Romano's real life. He was a futon delivery man before he was a comedian, he worked with his friend Claude, and he once walked into a customer's house to find her naked, mistaking her saying, "coming." for "Come in."
