However, when Marge throws the mouldy sandwich in the bin in the next shot and Homer collapses, the kids have disappeared. In the next shot, they are back again.
Audio problem: Ms. Krabappel is telling Bart about the laundry list of sicknesses he had to get out of the test. You can see her mouth doesn't match up when she mentions "...and that unfortunate case of rabies." The studio actually changed what Ms. Krabappel originally said which was "and that unfortunate case of "Tourette's Syndrome." [Some reports say that the original line of Tourette's Syndrome was left in syndications in certain areas. On the DVD version the rabies line has been used].
Continuity mistake: In the shot where Kearney is reading the letter sent by Marge whilst he is eating the jellybean cookies, there is a quick shot of Kearney's hand going to his mouth with the cookie to eat it. Continuity mistake: When the police talk about the bumper cars getting stolen by Jimbo Jones, you see him and his 2 friends riding off in bumper cars. From the side angle, there are 2 blue and 1 red car, but from the rear view, there is 1 blue, l red, and 1 green car.

Deliberate mistake: In "Dial Z For Zombies", Homer is shooting zombies with the shotgun at the school. When he shoots the first two he just shoots them twice. Every other zombie he shoots requires him to slide the gun. It doesn't when he shoots the first couple of zombies.
Continuity mistake: When Marge comes to pay for her shopping, she empties her left pocket on her coat, but when Sanjay finds it in her pocket, it's in her left pocket. We know it wasn't in her pocket anyway because when Sanjay finds it, it is bigger than the size of her pocket.

Continuity mistake: You may have to look carefully for this mistake. When Marge picks up the 'Das Butt' video, you can see the cover. In the next shot, you can see Marge holding it so you can't see the cover. But when she hands it over to Ruth, she twists the video round and you can see that nothing is visible. You may have to see it a couple of times.

Continuity mistake: After Krusty is done doing the special promotion commercial, he is given a telegram informing him of the Soviet boycott. Revealing mistake: The shot of Homer saying "Marge, when kids say bad these days, they mean good. And to shake your booty means to wiggle one's butt" is recycled from the opening scene from Life on the Fast Lane. Notice the animation is of a much lower standard than the rest of the episode.
Continuity mistake: When Homer and Bart are watching a clip of Sideshow Mel on wowee sauce and Bart then says "I'd give anything to go to that show", he has nothing in his hand. The shot cuts to Homer and he then says "I'd sell my first born son" and then the shot cuts back to Bart. When the shot cuts back to Bart, a Buzz cola can has appeared in his hand out of nowhere.
