Continuity mistake: When Homer sits down at the breakfast table with Marge, there is nothing in Marge's cup. In the next shot, a spoon suddenly appears, and after a quick cut to Homer, we return to them both and the spoon has gone again.

Continuity mistake: At church, while Marge is reminiscing about being pregnant with Bart, Kirk Van Houten is seen with grey hair and eyebrows. He has his ordinary blue hair and eyebrows in all other shots of him.

This is a mistake for the introduction from seasons 2-20 (1991-2009). When Homer screams, he turns round. You see this in a wide shot. There are no boxes to the right of the door in the garage. However, two just appear out of thin air when he runs through the garage.
