The Longest Night - S5-E3

Corrected entry: During exchanges between Mr Peterson and Lennox, we find out that there is 60 grand in the safe as Friday is the store's busiest day. When Lennox is taken into the office, the store is still open, so how did the 60 grand make its way from the tills to the office safe? Tender pickups are done after the store has closed. The time when they do attempt to open the safe is quarter past six (after the store has closed) but still there would have needed to be a member of the office staff to bring the money to the safe while the Trotters, Lennox and the other two were in the office. Also a safe would not be located in the manager's office, it would more likely be in the general office or cash office.

Correction: When I worked in a supermarket in my student days, cash was taken from the checkouts every couple of hours. And that was a small supermarket in a small town, not a large supermarket in a busy London suburb. Cash would probably be taken throughout the day to be locked away.

The Long Legs of the Law - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: At the very beginning of the episode, Leonard Pearce is waiting for the cue for his character to start looking for his teeth. He's standing in the living room, between his room and Del and Rodney's room. (00:00:25)

Suggested correction: Not necessarily a mistake. If someone is looking for something they often try to think where it could be before they start searching.

Clearly not seen the episode. Leonard is stood not moving a muscle and then starts actively looking.

Trigger: Problems, Dave?
Rodney: I don't want to talk about it Trig. You ever been wrongly accused of something?
Trigger: Yeah once.
Rodney: Yeah, How did you get out of it?
Trigger: Well I didn't - I was guilty.

Trivia: The story behind why Trigger calls Rodney Dave is that apparently Roger Lloyd Pack kept getting names mixed up during rehearsals early on in the show's history. "Dave" came from David Jason when he was actually with Nicholas Lyndhurst [Rodney]. It stuck and quickly became part of the show's immense appeal.

Chosen answer: An apparent long string of illnesses.

Answer: Joan Mavis Trotter (Nee Hollins) was an unseen character in Only Fools And Horses, having died in 1964, 17 years before the series began. She died of an alcohol related illness due to both her sham marriage to Reg Trotter and being hit hard by the death of her secret lover Freddie "The Frog" Robdal.
