Rivals - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: Marty is making tea for Regan in the kitchen and as he says "Lord in heaven", the kettle goes from being on the burner in the shot before to being on the counter, even though no one touched it.

Rivals - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the show, Poppy meets Niles at Cafe Nervosa. She has a black purse which she places on the table in front of her. During the scene, the purse is sometimes on the table and sometimes isn't, even though Poppy never removes it.

Rivals - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: Frasier, Regan, Niles, and Poppy are at the ball - Frasier asks Regan to dance and she leaves her purse on the table, where we can see the strap hanging down over the edge. A couple of shots later, as they dance by, we can see the purse has changed position and the strap is lying on the table.

Rivals - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: Frasier is in the kitchen to get some herbal tea for Regan - the box is mauve - in the first shot it is laying on its side but after that it is standing upright, although Frasier didn't touch it during that time.

Rivals - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: Niles and Daphne are in the elevator and the door opens to reveal Frasier standing at his door holding Eddie. In the first couple of shots his arm is over Eddie's chest and legs, but then changes to his arm being under Eddie's front leg.

Frasier: And though washing one's hands twenty to thirty times a day would be considered obsessive/compulsive, please bear in mind that your husband is a coroner. Thank you for your call, Jeanine. Roz, whom do we have next?

Trivia: The producers were careful not to put stools in Cafe Nervosa, in order to distance it visually from the eponymous bar in "Cheers."

Show generally

Question: There's probably an obvious answer to this but is there any actual in-show significance to the 'Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs' song heard at the end of every episode? I ask mainly because I remembered there was one show in particular where Frasier unintentionally scars Lilith emotionally and pretty much cements the end of their relationship over a misunderstanding about scrambled eggs. Were there any similar conflicts over a tossed salad?

Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
