I'm Listening - S11-E6

Corrected entry: Frasier is with Niles at Cafe Nervosa, and he is telling him that he overheard Ronee make a date with Richard. Niles then argues that he wants no part of this issue and Frasier says, "You can't outscramble an egg" - when he should have say "unscramble". He was referring to Niles going back and undoing something already done. One could argue that we misspeak in real life, but this is a performance, not real life and it is a mistake of the performer (or the writers).

Correction: Real life or not, its a character mistake at best.

Lummie

Correction: He was making a joke.

The Two Mrs. Cranes - S4-E1

Corrected entry: Clive called the condo to ask for Daphne. Later, when he is under the impression that Daphne is married to Niles, he says that Daphne is still listed in the phone book as Daphne Moon. Why is Daphne listed under Frasier's home number? The episode "Dial M For Martin" establishes that she feels a need to move on when a patient no longer needs her. At this point, she does not consider herself a permanent part of the household.

Correction: She's listed under Frasier's home number because that is also her home number.

Motor Skills - S8-E11

Corrected entry: Roz acquires a Dalmatian puppy which is constantly referred to as a "he" even though it is a she. Roz even names it "Ariel" which Marty scoffs at as a girl's name. Later in the season the dog appears again, having grown quite a bit, but while it may not be the same dog, it is still a female, and is still referred to as "he".

Correction: Having numerous cats and dogs over the years I can tell you its very easy to mistake the animals gender at times simply because gender is not as big an issue with pets. A friend of mine had a female dog called Harry who looked more male. I still referred to the dog as a "he" many times despite it being a female dog.

Enemy at the Gate - S10-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Frasier is standing through his sunroof to speak with the drivers stuck behind him in the parking garage, one shot shows Frasier's body and much of the rear window which features a very clear reflection of the boom mic.

Trivia: The producers were careful not to put stools in Cafe Nervosa, in order to distance it visually from the eponymous bar in "Cheers."

Show generally

Question: There's probably an obvious answer to this but is there any actual in-show significance to the 'Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs' song heard at the end of every episode? I ask mainly because I remembered there was one show in particular where Frasier unintentionally scars Lilith emotionally and pretty much cements the end of their relationship over a misunderstanding about scrambled eggs. Were there any similar conflicts over a tossed salad?

Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
