The X-Files

Fight Club - S7-E20

Continuity mistake: Scully tells Burt that Betty lived in a blue house and later tells Mulder that she found Lulu, who lived in a pink house. Betty actually lived in the pink house and Lulu lived in the blue one. (00:00:30 - 00:13:25)

Requiem - S7-E22

Continuity mistake: In this episode, both Mulder and Scully say that the last time they were in Oregon was 7 years ago. A previous episode this season dealt with the Millennium, so we know this episode took place in 2000. So seven years ago would be 1993, the year the show first aired. But in the Pilot episode, the corner of the screen reads their location in Oregon and March 7, 1992. 8 years ago. (00:08:20)

Rush - S7-E5

Continuity mistake: The dates on the academic discipline and progress forms for Max are not in accord with the order of the episode, coming after the "Millennium" episode. Supposedly the changes in his behavior and grades started a few months before, but the reports are from a few years ago. (00:24:55)

Hollywood A.D. - S7-E19

Continuity mistake: When Chuck Burks is analyzing the pottery, we can see that one of the pieces has a broken edge. Seconds later, the image shows the piece of pottery with the border preserved. (00:17:12 - 00:18:17)

The Sixth Extinction (2) - S7-E1

Continuity mistake: Mulder writes Kritschgau's name on the ulnar side of the palm of Skinner's right hand. Later when Skinner is looking for Kritschgau in his apartment building, the writing is on a different part of Skinner's palm, beginning around the middle and extending diagonally towards the thumb. (00:11:50 - 00:15:30)

Phaneron

Millennium - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: When Skinner walks away from the conference table, his armchair is only slightly turned left from its normal position towards the table, but when he comes back with additional documents, the armchair is turned left to the position perpendicular to the table. (00:10:20)

Hungry - S7-E3

Continuity mistake: After Rob returns to his apartment after throwing out the trash bag with the bloody shirt inside, his mouth starts bleeding and he goes to the bathroom. He removes his false teeth and a few of his real teeth start falling out; he has a small smear of blood on his bottom lip when the camera is looking at him but his mouth is clean when the shot changes to his reflection in the mirror, with no time in between for him to wipe it.

Purple_Girl

Paper Clip (3) - S3-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Mulder and Scully enter the abandoned mine through a doorway, the viewer can see at right in the distance a number of people sitting on a wall, and one crouching in front of the wall with what looks like a dog. They are sitting still, but there is still movement there. (00:16:00)

Trust No 1 - S9-E6

Question: After blowing up the car, when the NSA guy answers Scully's question, "How the hell do you know my size?" he says, "I know the name of your college boyfriend, your true hair colour, your ATM PIN number." This strongly suggests that red is not her true colour. Therefore, my question is: What is the true colour of Scully's hair?

Answer: He was being facetious. He doesn't specifically know that information, he was merely giving examples of the types of information he has access to.

I think so too.

Answer: Actress Gillian Anderson's natural hair color is strawberry blonde, which she dyed fiery red. (Although in the revival of the show she wears a wig).

The question does not concern Gillian Anderson's true hair colour-it concerns Agent Dana Scully's true hair colour.
