Revealing mistake: Towards the end of this episode, Joey comes back to her Dorm room and spots the envelope Eddie left for her. You can see her name written on the outside of the envelope, and it's supposed to be Eddie's handwriting. But in fact, it looks exactly like Joey's handwriting as shown throughout the series. When Joey is talking earlier to Professor Hetson and he hands her the exam booklet with her writing on the front, it's the same style of handwriting. During other episodes, we see what is supposed to be Joey's own writing (ie: her note to Dawson during the Series Finale that she leaves on his bed) which is also very similar. So in fact, what is supposed to be Eddie's handwriting on the note to Joey really looks more like Joey's handwriting, or the same person who really does the writing for Joey's character.

Plot hole: In the beginning of the episode, Joey and Audrey are talking in their dorm room. Audrey makes a comment that "Our time in this particular room is over". They have been in the same dorm room (27) for two years now, their Freshman and Sophomore years at Worthington. They still have 2 more years to go. What would make Audrey think that they would suddenly have to change dorm rooms when they've had the same room the entire time? Or that they wouldn't still be roommates the next academic year at Worthington? Audrey is staying to take Summer School classes so she doesn't have to leave the University. (00:08:40)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the day, Joey and Dawson are laying on his bed talking. When Joey asks Dawson how he would describe his film, there is a close-up of Joey looking directly at Dawson, who is to her left. The next shot, as Dawson answers, Joey is suddenly staring straight up and not looking at Dawson. Then in the next shot, Joey is again looking back at Dawson to her left. The transitions are too fast for her to have actually moved her head. (00:34:10)

Plot hole: When Jen and Grams are talking on the porch, Dawson walks up to talk to them. They ask him if their cab has arrived, and he says no, but they are in his shot. They then choose that time to say goodbye to Dawson, which turns into a group 'goodbye' with everyone that lasts several minutes. Meanwhile, the cab has arrived, and when they are finished saying goodbye, Grams, Jack and Jen walk to the cab and get in to leave for NYC. But what happened to all their luggage for the trip? How did it get in the cab? They went straight from saying goodbye, into the cab without stopping to carry their luggage to the car.

Plot hole: During this entire episode, Audrey is helping to film Dawson's movie by playing the role of Ms. Jacobs. We already know that Audrey is in the midst of Summer School at Worthington, but she is apparently staying down in Capeside during the entire time of filming. Audrey doesn't own a car in Boston, and it would be very difficult for her to commute every day to school and back. So why would she suddenly take off several days to do Dawson's movie when she is in the middle of Summer School classes? She mentions how boring the classes are, implying they are still going when she decides to do the film. Given that her academic standing is in jeapordy from missing almost an entire semester previously, it doesn't seem likely she would ditch her classes during the Summer to take off and film a movie.

Continuity mistake: When Joey is kissing Chris at the start, at first her hand is down, resting on the cushion. When the shot changes (right before she asks 'I don't really sound like her, do I?') her hand is up on the back of his neck. (00:03:05)

Factual error: When Jack is carrying Jen out of Pacey's restaurant, she bends her head down. You can see that her now very long, curly hair is real and has a natural part. But this episode was in reality filmed right after the preceding episodes in Season 6, not 5 years later. And in the later episodes of Season 6 Jen had dramatically shorter hair. Although in the context of being 5 years later Jen's much longer hair makes factual sense, in reality it isn't possible that she could have grown her hair out that quickly between the Finale and the episodes filmed before it. So how did she? The shorter hair didn't appear to be a wig. (00:26:20)
Suggested correction: This isn't an error, it's someone questioning how short hair could have grown long-even if it were the case that here hair magically grew, it's not a mistake! It's also not a mistake to have natural-looking supplemental hair. That is the case here. The part may look natural, but you can see that a great deal of Jen's hair is actually a shorter length, all around her head. No one in their right mind would cut layers like this, because it doesn't blend cleanly and would be a pain to style. When you have layers, you cut them in a way that they move with the rest of the hair, not stand out. However, when you have short hair and you add extensions, this is exactly what happens, and you choose a style where you can more easily hide the shorter hair (like waves), as the stylist did here. When you know what to look for and re-watch the scenes, you will easily see Jen's shorter real hair (about chin length) is supplemented with longer extensions (to roughly mid-chest length). This looks much better than the scenes where the shorter hair is rather lumpily gathered at the back of her head and extended with a faux ponytail.

Plot hole: When Jen and Jack are talking at the B&B, he picks up the bottle of pills from Jen's purse and asks her about them. She lies, telling him they are pills for Grams when in reality they are Jen's medication. But Jack is examining the label closely, and wouldn't he see pretty easily that Jen's name was listed instead of Grams? He had plenty of time to read the entire label. (00:28:40)

Plot hole: Dawson is in his bedroom, and hears a noise outside his window. He panics, and picks up his laptop to use as a 'weapon' if necessary, while approaching the window. This doesn't seem logical; because for one thing he knows Joey is in town and she has been coming in through that window for years, and wouldn't he think of that first? Also-highly unlikely Dawson would actually use a very expensive Apple laptop as a weapon when it could be damaged, and he relies on it extensively for his work as a Writer/Producer. (00:30:55)

Revealing mistake: During the scene when Jen is telling Jack about her illness in the hospital room, she asks him to get into bed with her and talk. As he does that, Jen lifts her right arm to allow room for him. There is a tube attached to her right arm at the inside of her elbow, that is supposed to be going into an artery. But you can see that the end of the tube is actually pointing the opposite way, and sticking up through the tape pointing towards us. Obviously this was because they couldn't actually insert the tube into Michelle's arm for the scene.

Audio problem: During the narrative for the Season Finale, second half, Paul Stupin the Executive Producer is talking about Joey and Pacey's romance in the show. He mentions that they went on an "epic journey on a sailboat all over the world." He's a bit mistaken; as when Joey and Pacey went sailing at the end of Season 3, they sailed from Massachussetts down the Eastern Coast to Florida and back again. It was hardly "all over the world". Audio problem: During the Season Finale Narrative, second half- Creator Kevin Williamson mentions that The Kiss between Doug and Jack on the beach was "the second gay kiss in the show". He's a bit mistaken, as this was actually the 4th gay kiss in the entire series. Jack kissed Ethan in Season 3, Toby in Season 4, David in Season 6, and Doug in the Season Finale. (01:36:00)

Revealing mistake: Immediately after Jen dies in the hospital room, Grams wakes up and notices something is wrong. She stands up and checks Jen's pulse, using Jen's left wrist. You can see a clear small marking/line of some kind on Jen's wrist, and Grams slides her fingers directly over this mark to check the pulse. Apparently the mark was a cue for Grams to know where exactly to place her fingers in the scene.
