New this month Revealing mistake: In the opening, Holly gives an additional message saying "On our journey, we have encountered many strange and bizarre things. Only last month, we can across a moon which was shaped exactly like Felicity Kendal's bottom. We flew around that one a couple of times." Before Holly says "We flew around that one a couple of times", he can be seen about to say the line, but visibly hesitates, presumably waiting for his cue.
New this month Revealing mistake: After the crew transport themselves out of the book depository to escape the FBI, the astronaut helmet is transported afterwards and the two FBI agents start shooting at the box the helmet was placed on. When the box is shot, there are no bullet holes left on it.

New this month Revealing mistake: When Lee Harvey Oswald is preparing to shoot JFK on the fifth floor of the book depository, there is a shot of him from the side where he points his gun out of the window. To his left are a numerous boxes belonging to the book depository. Many of the boxes have "books" written on them, and some have hand written numbers on them. Later in the episode, the crew go back in time to send Oswald up to the sixth floor, but in the side view shot where he points his gun out of the window this time, the boxes are completely identical to the ones used on the fifth floor. The same set was likely reused.

New this month Revealing mistake: When Lister hits Legion over the head, his mask falls off. In the shot that shows Rimmer, Cat and Kryten in the foreground sitting at the table and Lister and Legion in the background, Legion's face can be seen and it is apparent that it is not the combination of the four that is his face, but in fact the actor's real face.
New this month Revealing mistake: With the Matter Paddle, Kryten transports into the sleeping quarters, and then transports onto the bunk. When Kryten transports onto the bunk, the Cat's position on his chair visibly alters on screen, showing where the scene was edited to make Kryten appear as if he transporting.
New this month Revealing mistake: When Rimmer is piloting Starbug in Lister's body, there is a shot of Starbug spinning in circles. This is a shot that was taken from S3 E2 Marooned, of Starbug crashing after colliding with the asteroid. The only difference is the planet in the background has been changed.
New this month Revealing mistake: After Starbug has left Red Dwarf, the scene cuts to inside the ship where Rimmer tells Kryten to autopilot, and the background of space is entirely still, even though the ship is moving.
New this month Revealing mistake: After landing on Earth, Rimmer and Kryten are standing on land. When Kryten asks "What is this place?", a car can be seen driving forwards in the far background, even though everything in this version of Earth is supposed to work backwards.
New this month Revealing mistake: The scene where the pub manager comes backstage to yell at Rimmer and Kryten was filmed, and then reversed to appear as if he was yelling backwards. Rimmer blinks when he is being yelled at, and due to the scene being played in reverse, his facial movements appear reversed, even though he is supposed to be moving forwards.
New this month Revealing mistake: Lister and Cat get a ride to Nodnol after a man they bump into offers to take them in his van. The logo on the van appears completely normal, and has not been reversed, even though everything in this version of Earth is supposed to be reversed.
New this month Revealing mistake: When Confidence is trying to get Lister to take his helmet off, Lister climbs over a railing and jumps around him. It is clear that the footage of Lister jumping around was slowed down to make his movement appear as if there is a lack of gravity.
Revealing mistake: When Rimmer gets into bed, near the start of the episode, you can see that he brushes past Lister's blanket hanging down and slightly moves it. He should not have been able to do this as he is a hologram, it should have passed through him.
Revealing mistake: After the Cat's dance, Lister says 'we are outta here' and pulls the level, at which point the crew all fall back as if Blue Midget had rushed forwards. However, in the model shot of the ship it shows it scraping its foot on the floor before it runs forwards, meaning the crew should not have fallen back in their seats.
Revealing mistake: During the scene in the space station's dining room, when Craig Charles is making a speech explaining that they should escape, he stands up and pours himself a glass of Bucks Fizz. Craig fills the glass too soon (half way through the speach) and must realise, as he pours the drink back into the pitcher, and then begins filling his glass again.
Revealing mistake: In several episodes, but mostly in series 6, we see lots of profile camera shots of just Lister and The Cat at the front of the cockpit in Starbug. Quite a few times you will see Lister mouth The Cat's lines so he knows when to start speaking and what to say.
Revealing mistake: Near the end of the episode, Kryten and his employer are seen arguing in supposedly backwards English. However, when you watch the episode how the people of earth would see it on the second DVD, Kryten and his employer aren't speaking English, they are just speaking plain gobbeldy-gook, even although when you see the people of Earth talking on the DVD they speak correctly.
Revealing mistake: In the captain's office, the words 'Medical bay' have been painted on the wall. This was near the end of the episode and can be seen over Rimmer's shoulder while they are talking in the drive room. The set was obviously doubled with the medical bay, as the captain's office is not used in this episode.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Kochanski, the Cat, and Kryten first discover the time wand, there are a group of Canaries who are frozen in time from its effects. In the first shot of these people, the woman on the far right of the screen blinks her eyes. (Confirmed on DVD commentary).
Revealing mistake: When Lister goes into Rimmer's new room, there is a slight glitch with the split screen. When Lister is laughing at Rimmer's newspaper headlines on the door, the camera changes and the first frame only has Lister and Rimmer with the scutters. In the next frame the second Rimmer appears and the scutter on the right has moved.
Revealing mistake: During filming of the this episode, Craig Charles was called away for the birth of his son, Jack, so production manager Mike Agnew stepped in. Although Lister is wearing a space suit at the time you can still tell which part is Mike thanks to a continuity error - Mike forgot to put on Lister's plaster cast.
Revealing mistake: When Rimmer and Lister are being forced out Captain Hollister's office due to the effects of the fight catching up with them, a rattling sound can be heard off-screen, indicating the use of a hidden trolley-like device pushing them into the wall.
Revealing mistake: When Rimmer stands up from underneath the table, just before he says, "Thanks for your support" to Lister, listen very carefully and you can hear the stunt director saying "Action!" backwards. This shot was the splice point between the reversed and the regular footage. (I know this mistake is listed as being in the 'backwards version' on the DVD, but it is in the regular broadcast version too - you just have to listen harder for it.)
Revealing mistake: At the start of the episode, we see Lister in black and white talking to Loretta. Then we cut back to what's really happening, he is playing on the AR console. Look at the door behind him, you can see Kryten's hand sticking out in the doorway. He is supposed to rush in and start talking, but you can see him waiting off camera to be told when to enter the room.
