3:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. - S1-E16

Trivia: This is a very strange observation that I made of the scene where George enters Jack's office as he's changing. Just after George says he's in charge, Jack jokingly says, "So they thought you'd do a better job keeping an eye on me than Alberta would." Just at that moment, he kicks a shoebox out of his way, and the sound it makes sounds exactly like a rimshot of a drum, unintentionally making a mockery of the joke he just made.

Season 1 generally

Trivia: During this season, the computers used by the villains are all PCs, while all the computers used by the good guys are Macs.

Day 2: 5:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. - S2-E10

Trivia: Fans have long speculated what Jack whispers to Nina in this episode. According to Kiefer Sutherland the scripted line was "I am going to hunt you down for as long as you live" but what he actually whispered was "I love you Sarah, why did you marry Xander?" Sarah is the name of the actress playing Nina and she is married to Xander Berkley who played George Mason. Apparently Sutherland whispered this to get a more interesting reaction from Nina.

Day 3: 11:00 P.M.-12:00 A.M. - S3-E11

Trivia: When the CTU personnel are in a meeting and Adam brings a picture of Nina onto the big screen, the name next to the picture is Sarah Berkeley, which is Sarah Clarke's married name. Clarke has been married to Xander Berkeley since 2002.

Day 3: 7:00 A.M.-8:00 A.M. - S3-E19

Trivia: The website for Sylvia Imports which David Palmer must use to provide Stephen Saunders with a list of the 42 overseas agents actually exists. On it is written: "Sylviaimports.com - A Big Thank-you from the crew of 24. Thanks for watching, we love making it for you, and yes, we did get picked up for Season 4."

Day 2: 7:00 A.M.-8:00 A.M. - S2-E24

Trivia: The final scene of this episode was filmed with a "false beat" ending that showed Palmer standing up again straight after Mandy's attack and getting back into his limo. This was done to stop anyone other than the those who needed to, knowing the ending of the series before it was aired.

Season 6 generally

Trivia: On the DVD, the writers revealed that they originally planned for a subplot regarding Josh Bauer's paternity. Originally the idea was that he would turn out to be Jack's son, but this idea was later changed into him being Philip Bauer's son. This idea wasn't scrapped until they wrote the final episode of the season. Philip Bauer was going to reveal the truth to Josh at the oil rig, but the idea was abandoned because it would add too much drama to an already dramatic situation.

Day 6: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM - S6-E1

Jack Bauer: Do you understand the difference between dying for something and dying for nothing? The only reason I fought so hard to stay alive in China was because I didn't want to die for nothing. Today, I can die for something.

Chosen answer: Nobody knew, not even the writers, until at least halfway through the season when they were writing the end. They wanted to keep all options open.
