Death in Paradise

The Stakes Are High - S7-E2

Continuity mistake: Office scene with the poison being revealed. Dwayne in his snazzy detective suit interjects that you have to know the right, or wrong people to get a hold of it. In the wider shot (whole room in frame) Danny John-Jules' left hand covers the cuff of his blue shirt, while in the closer angle the shirt is perfectly visible. (00:13:50)

Meditated in Murder - S7-E6

Continuity mistake: After the intro, Florence reaches Jack at the shack and leans against the wall while he's whining about the speech he has to write about their boss. In all close-ups Joséphine Jobert's hair flows in front of her shoulder, but in the one wider angle (when she shrugs him off with "I don't know, sir") her hair is fully behind her back. (00:04:25)

Murder on the Day of the Dead - S7-E5

Continuity mistake: Uncharacteristically, Commissioner Selwyn Patterson joins the police investigation, at least at the very beginning. He takes his jacket off, and his tie reaches slightly below the belt of his pants. When he finds the body, the tie is a couple inches above the belt. Technically he is off-screen for what amounts of few minutes of plot, but it'd be ridiculous to picture him undoing his tie and making a tighter knot while he's in the middle of a search in the woods - he'd have just removed the tie and pocketed it entirely if it was being a nuisance. Episode #1.5 - S1-E5

Plot hole: Leon Hamilton is the most hated man in Sainte Marie, with over 900 people on the island conned by him. Yet exactly one person in the whole island knows how he looks like, every newspaper and website never ever published a picture of him even during the very public trial when they were trying to get their thousands of dollars back nor publish an archive picture after his death.

Man Overboard: Part 2 - S6-E6

DI Jack Mooney: My grandfather told me a story once, about these two wolves fighting inside all of us. And one of them is anger, envy, self-pity, regret. The other one is love, truth, faith, hope, that sort of thing.
And I asked him "which one of the wolves would win?" And do you know what he said?
"The one you feed."

Question: When Richard reminisces about England, he talks about going to the pub and having a pint. Yet the whole time he's in Saint Marie, he is never seen to drink alcohol with the rest of the team; only cups of tea. Why?

Answer: Most likely they had only tropical exotic drinks, he wanted an old fashioned English beer.
