Trivia: During the film's climax, a young boy in an Iron Man mask is shown standing up to one of the Hammer drones with Iron Man swooping in and destroying the drone and giving the kid the credit. Following Spider-Man's inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a fan theory suggested the young boy was Peter Parker, which Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Spider-Man actor Tom Holland would later retroactively confirm.
Other mistake: When the stormtroopers break into the control room, the stormtrooper on the right of the screen hits his head on the door frame. On the DVD release they've added a thump when he hits it. (01:18:55)
Visible crew/equipment: Just as Jack says, "On deck, you scabrous dogs," to the very left edge of the screen over Jack's shoulder is a grip crew member with a tan cowboy hat, white short sleeve tee shirt and sunglasses, just standing there looking out to sea. (02:12:35)
Deliberate mistake: The me-109 have painted yellow fronts, this wasn't done by the Germans until after Dunkirk. Christopher Nolan has admitted doing this deliberately so the audience could tell the difference between the spitfire and the me-109 during the combat scenes.
The Grinch: The nerve of those Whos. Inviting me down there - and on such short notice. Even if I wanted to go my schedule wouldn't allow it. Four o'clock, wallow in self pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one. 5:30, jazzercize. 6:30, dinner with me. I can't cancel that again. 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing; I'm booked. Of course, if I bump the loathing to 9 I could still be done in time to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling and slip slowly into madness. But what would I wear?
Continuity mistake: After chasing down Sully, the yellow Porsche is totally wrecked on the left side, until Arnie drives it away, and it's fine. Later, when Arnie and Cindy arrive at the hotel, the car is wrecked again. (00:39:50)
Other mistake: When Iron Man and Iron Monger are fighting, Iron Man catches the SUV, and you can see the family inside the car. Although the car is completely vertical, the hair of the people in the car seems to defy gravity.
Continuity mistake: In the library scene Indy discovers the "X" high up on the balcony. The X is green with a grey background. When he breaks the tile to find the tomb the X has become a faint outline on the floor. (00:27:40 - 00:28:45)
Continuity mistake: When Noah and Allie are passionately kissing in his car outside of her family home, she is wearing red nail polish. She has to leave, and runs up the steps to the door, where her father startles her. She is no longer wearing any nail polish.
Revealing mistake: When Sheldon goes to Penny's apartment and they do a scene study together, they both read lines from a multi-page script that Sheldon brings with him. On a couple of occasions the camera cuts to a side view of Sheldon and we get to see the page of the script that he's currently reading from. The pages are completely blank.
Plot hole: Spoiler alert! The entire plot hinges on the villain's gang obtaining the tablet that allows admin access to the building's systems. However, it can only be unlocked via facial recognition and it is keyed only to Will Sawyer's face. In fact, when they finally do get it, Xia unlocks it by holding it up to Sawyer's face. So what was the point of trying to steal the backpack containing the tablet? Without Will to unlock it, the tablet is useless.
Other mistake: Davis tells Kate to go and she jumps out of the falling plane, her chute opening. Davis then takes a minute to free Harvey from the plane as it's still falling before they both get out. Once they are free falling he takes a few seconds before he pulls their chutes as well. However as they are coming down close to the plane crash site, Kate is near level with them in altitude as they are all coming down together. With how high she was when she jumped out compared to the time it took for Davis and Harvey to get out of the plane and open their chutes, she would have been several minutes behind them in the sky, not right next to them. (00:47:45 - 00:49:05)
Trivia: A long running mystery of this game, there is one spot where an abandoned building is off in the distance. If you unlock the camera and head to that spot, you can find an odd figure of a man standing there. It is unknown who this is or why it's there, being an unfinished abandoned area of the game, or a detail, or just some odd bug. One theory is that it seems to resemble one of the game developers Shigenori Nishikawa.
Continuity mistake: When the hobbits are hiding under the tree trunk from the Ringwraith in the beginning, you can see space to the left and right of the tree above them. Logically when the Ringwraith walks past the tree you would see it on the right side of the tree first, then on the left, but you don't - it looks like it walks out of the tree instead of behind it. [Confirmed on the commentaries - Elijah Wood asks his fellow actors if anyone spotted the mistake: 'It kind of magically comes out of the tree'. Sean Astin: 'You mean it doesn't pass from the other side?' Wood: 'No, it comes out from the centre.'](00:51:40)
Plot hole: There was only one T-Rex on the island. When Owen and the others are running down the side of the island escaping the volcanic ash, another dino tries to eat them but then the T-Rex shows up and kills it. This establishes the T-Rex was there in that spot. Owen and the others then wash up back on shore and find the soldiers loading the dinos on a boat and stow away. Then when Blue is bleeding out they have to get a blood transfusion and the only viable candidate is the T-Rex who is now captured and sedated on the ship. How did the soldiers capture, let alone bring the Rex to the ship from where it was seen by Owen back up over hills and rocky terrain? It would have been an all day process just to haul the T-Rex to the ship. It just magically appears on the ship after they stow away on it and can provide the blood Blue needs.
Revealing mistake: When Kramer is getting slammed with his new super-powered shower head at the very end of the episode, it's blatantly obvious that the water is barely touching him - he's standing right next to it.
