Eddie Jessup: I can't live with it Emily, the pain is unbearable.
Emily Jessup: We all live with it. That unbearable terror is what makes us such singular creatures. We hide from it, we succumb to it, mostly we defy it! We build fragile little structures to keep it out. We love, we raise families, we work, we make friends. We write poems.
James Leeds: Do you think there's someplace where we can meet that's not in silence and not in sound?
Inspector Frank Bumstead: So Husselbeck, what kind of killer do you think stops to save a dying fish?
Irina Asanova: KGB have better cars, you know.
Arkady Renko: Ah, but they don't always take you where you want to go, do they?
Tony Stark: You know I don't really want to say 'I told you so, ' but the super-soldier project was put on ice for a reason.
Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross: Mr. Stark. You always wear such nice suits.
Tony Stark: Touché.
Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross: How old are you, Blonsky, forty-five?
Emil Blonsky: Thirty-nine.
Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross: That takes a toll, doesn't it?
Emil Blonsky: Yes, it does.
Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross: So get out of the trenches. You should be a Colonel by now, with your record.
Emil Blonsky: No, sir, I'm a fighter, and I'll be one for as long as I can. Mind you, if I took what I had now, and put it in a body that I had ten years ago, that would be something I could use to fight him...
Gen. Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross: I think I can arrange something like that.
