Dr. Louise Banks: And "purpose" requires an understanding of intent. Morgan Philip: So, is this what it's like?
Giselle: What, sweetie?
Morgan Philip: Going shopping with your mother.
Giselle: I don't know. I've never been shopping with my mother.
Morgan Philip: Me either.
Giselle: But I like it.
Morgan Philip: Me too.
Giselle: And just think, soon you'll have a new mother.

Giselle: It's not true what they say. I have met so many kind and wonderful stepmothers. Edward has a stepmother. Well, I've never met her, but I hear she's just lovely.
Morgan Philip: And when you go out you don't want to wear too much makeup, 'cause otherwise the boys get the wrong idea and you know how they are...

Lois Lane: How do you find someone who has spent a lifetime covering his tracks? For some, he was a guardian angel. To others, a ghost who never quite fit in.
Michael: Ice pick?
Delysia: It's in the drawer. Somewhere! Ice in the Fridgedair?
Michael: I want the pick for murder, not ice.
